TH-cam communities were a lot smaller back in the day, there was something really special and personal about them. I think lower production standards made it feel really personal too, just watching someone record videos in their bedroom or something was really cool for some reason.

Same, since 2012 when I first got an internet connection at our house. I've watched Charlie, Felix, and Markiplier since then, and they're the main ones that have survived in my subscription feed to this day. I was introduced to Ken by Pewds and now watch Ken and Dane's react couch daily. It's crazy how they've become such a large part of my entertainment for so long, but I'm really glad it worked out this way. I also watched theRadBrad quite a bit back then, but maybe a few years later, and Jack SPEDICEY and his Little Inferno gameplay when I was going into high school was very heartwarming too.
I was watching Ken and Pewds while I was in college around 2011-2015 I got my first internship doing business analytics and learning about S.A.P for the South Florida water management district around 2015 in February. My coworkers must've thought I was nuts because I'd always be laughing at a video from one of these guys with a headphone in my ear. I also used to listen to Sleepycast alot those years. I'm a 30 year old little old man living in California now, with my wife who was a project manager at the Florida water district. To me in 2010 when I graduated high-school, it still feels like that was yesterday. It makes me extremely happy looking back on those years. Moving out of my parent's house in 2011 felt like such a scary huge step that I didn't feel prepared for. I know it's kinda pathetic but I had no friends back then since I wasn't into the party scene and drinking. So I felt like some of you guys on TH-cam were my buddies I'd check in on every now and then. So much has changed throughout the years and it's been one hell of a ride getting here today.
Still, love you guys regardless. I work from home these days since 2018. I'm almost like a TH-camr😂 All jokes aside, these videos are giving me flashbacks of the world we millenials inhabited.

It makes you feel like you were there with them, 'cause for some of us we are around the same age and have been subbed since the beginning. It's a little cathartic even. Love to see how they've grown and reflect on how I have as well.

This is more or less how I got introduced to both Ken and Felix, I remember crying over some breakup I had in high school and watching TH-cam to take my mind off of it. I stumbled across PewDiePie's channel and was laughing hysterically watching his amnesia videos and happy wheels videos. I discovered Ken soon after and quickly subscribed. Got me through a lot of high school depression with laughter ❤️❤️❤️❤️ So much love for the both of you, feel like old high school friends haha
There was still TH-cam partnership to get money from it; it's just that most people didn't know about it. Even for the people that used it, it didn't really affect the content back then. It would've been shameful to make videos for the sake of monetization, and TH-cam wasn't suppressing content that didn't make them money the way that they do now.
I remember back when regular people could upload and video on TH-cam and could go viral. this was before they manipulated the algorithm and started putting "authoritive sources" on the main page. Now we will never see a youtuber grow from 0 to millions of subs.

My opinion with Felix using Bandicam is that if it works for him, there is no need to start blank with a completely different software. Also, I like the thought of people still showing support for old software.
Going back to the old videos makes me miss those times, especially Cryaotic, even with the bad stuff he did I can't refute the great times I had bouncing between Cry, Ken, Pewds, and Markiplier . For me I thrived and grew up on watching Pewdiepie, Cryaotic, Markiplier, and Ken, I miss those times of Amnesia and non stop horror games. Now horror games just don't hit the same.

This is more or less how I got introduced to both Ken and Felix, I remember crying over some breakup I had in high school and watching TH-cam to take my mind off of it. I stumbled across PewDiePie's channel and was laughing hysterically watching his amnesia videos and happy wheels videos. I discovered Ken soon after and quickly subscribed. Got me through a lot of high school depression with laughter ❤️❤️❤️❤️ So much love for the both of you, feel like old high school friends haha

There was still TH-cam partnership to get money from it; it's just that most people didn't know about it. Even for the people that used it, it didn't really affect the content back then. It would've been shameful to make videos for the sake of monetization, and TH-cam wasn't suppressing content that didn't make them money the way that they do now.

I remember back when regular people could upload and video on TH-cam and could go viral. this was before they manipulated the algorithm and started putting "authoritive sources" on the main page. Now we will never see a youtuber grow from 0 to millions of subs.

I LOVE looking back at my old, cringy stuff. I keep all my old drawings. Both physically and on places like DeviantArt. I still have all my old animations up.

My opinion with Felix using Bandicam is that if it works for him, there is no need to start blank with a completely different software. Also, I like the thought of people still showing support for old software.

Going back to the old videos makes me miss those times, especially Cryaotic, even with the bad stuff he did I can't refute the great times I had bouncing between Cry, Ken, Pewds, and Markiplier . For me I thrived and grew up on watching Pewdiepie, Cryaotic, Markiplier, and Ken, I miss those times of Amnesia and non stop horror games. Now horror games just don't hit the same.
My teenage years were basically defined by watching you pewds. I've been watching since 2011 and I'll always be grateful for the lessons you've taught me
