Welcome to the United States. It's literally run this way. People who need help are considered a drain on society. I'm not privileged enough to travel much, so I've never been out of the country. I know some places are like us, but I really hope other nations are less like us as well.
I honestly hate the two woman that thought their "alone time" was so much more important than someone who literally needed teeth or that wanted to donate to a charity. I get it, I truly do. I have little cousins and siblings that constantly need looking after and not much room for myself, not even in my own room. However, I don't need $1,000 to get that alone time. Go to the park, go shopping, walk around the neighborhood, SOMETHING. It honestly made me upset.
As a person who has previously suffered from mental health. When I go for some "me time", there are plenty of places I could go. But the important thing about these places isn't how glamarous they are or what part of the world they're in. It's the feeling of peace. You could find peace in literally any place in the world. Sometimes, not always, I find that others who suffered with me weren't surrounding themselves with positive people or engaging in experiences they've never tried before. I remember I was in college (UK) and i'd have 0 friends that I had made in my 2 years of studying. So, when i'd feel like things are a bit much. I'd go to the beach (500 meters away from campus) and slap some chill music that I like. I even started playing more sports than I usually do and eventually I just got happier as time came by. If you think of the way your feeling and compare it to the phrase "you are what you eat" and apply it to fit the parameters of mental health, you'll find yourself picking up on these things more. If you surround yourself with negative energy, people, experiences as opposed to positive ones, it's going to be tougher to get out of that hole.
Ehh in my country, the grandparents are usually the ones who take care of their grandchildren instead of the parents because the parents go to work and we don't really have babysitters.

As a person who has previously suffered from mental health. When I go for some "me time", there are plenty of places I could go. But the important thing about these places isn't how glamarous they are or what part of the world they're in. It's the feeling of peace. You could find peace in literally any place in the world. Sometimes, not always, I find that others who suffered with me weren't surrounding themselves with positive people or engaging in experiences they've never tried before.
I remember I was in college (UK) and i'd have 0 friends that I had made in my 2 years of studying. So, when i'd feel like things are a bit much. I'd go to the beach (500 meters away from campus) and slap some chill music that I like. I even started playing more sports than I usually do and eventually I just got happier as time came by.
If you think of the way your feeling and compare it to the phrase "you are what you eat" and apply it to fit the parameters of mental health, you'll find yourself picking up on these things more. If you surround yourself with negative energy, people, experiences as opposed to positive ones, it's going to be tougher to get out of that hole.

I think the obvious ones aka the last three and the door lady should have been kicked out then the last three should have decided with a game. OR honestly even though charity is important the more urgent need is the one with the teeth.
