I recently took my kayak out into the bioluminescent plankton. It was a rainy night, I debated not going. But it was even better. With each rain drop, a ring of bioluminescence would ripple as it hit. I saw three dolphins that glowed as they moved, as well as many fish and even a manatee that went under my kayak and nearly knocked me out. I enjoyed putting my hands in the water and splashing to make it glow. When I took my hands out they still had glowing and flickering specks on them for a few seconds. It truly was a magical experience

Yep. In ‘03 we had a forest fire on a couple of our acres that started by heat traveling through the roots from where we were burning and igniting about 20-30 feet away. Absolutely wild. Thankfully the fire department came very quickly and contained it :)

We have some of that bioluminescence in the Pacific Northwest, it comes during a certain time of year but I don’t think it’s as strong as that. Ours is more green-teal, and it’s super cool when you stomp on the sand you get almost a small glowing shockwave.
The thing with the mountain I believe is called the cap cloud effect or something like that. Because mountains are basically giant obstacles for wind to have to over, the moisture that gets pushed up gets compressed and there fore condenses to form that cloud. I've heard the effect acts like a wave so sometimes similar looking clouds can be seen beyond the mountain, never seen that though.
5:49 When the wind reaches the mountain it gets pushed up the mountain side, taking water vapor with it and forming a cloud above the peak. This spot has some other unique things going on that allows this to happen but that's the gist of it. A fun lecture in my meteorology class for sure. Apparently that area gets quite a few UFO sighting reports because of this cloud.

I've heard the effect acts like a wave so sometimes similar looking clouds can be seen beyond the mountain, never seen that though.
5:49 When the wind reaches the mountain it gets pushed up the mountain side, taking water vapor with it and forming a cloud above the peak. This spot has some other unique things going on that allows this to happen but that's the gist of it. A fun lecture in my meteorology class for sure. Apparently that area gets quite a few UFO sighting reports because of this cloud.

And I’m guessing the reason it looks like that is something to do with the the viscosity of the substance and therefore the speed of it flowing is mistimed with the camera’s shutter speed.
