for pretty cheap you can push it to 900hp no problen and for 27000£ there is quite a bit left for a 2nd car , so it's gonna loose some weight

@@moron_with_a_voron uuh... for 900hp on GTR you will need upgraded internals, bigger turbos, supporting mods, and upgraded trans IF you want your engine and transmission to last. That'll be minimum 30-40k on mods so it ain't cheap.

@@Zero4Infinitives all cars need fixing from time to time.. Most bmw drivers know what they are getting into. For example it is more expensive to maintain than a honda for example. And even though it gets broken more. The amount of times that something breaks is not as much as people think. Besides a bmw car owner would rather be fixing his car more than driving a Honda.

For the people that say BMW break all the time. I've had a 2017 BMW 650i V8 twin turbo for 2.5 years. Just do regular maintenance and it has broken down ZERO times on me. Literally one of the most consistent and realiable cars I've driven and drives so smooth. So yeah I think people don't know how to take care of cars.

mattspies yeah, it does not have turbo but 6.3 v12 will excel at top end. Think how that will do once u give it forced induction.
Also in 5th gear it switches to 2wd(separate less gear gearbox for front) so all that v12 power to rear wheel will be awesome.

The GT-R's tech is not as good as the BMW or the Ferrari, but it still held up very well. And those people at BMW, yeah, they know what they're doing with those engines. Also I was surprised that the Ferrari couldn't shift any lower than 4th gear when trying to do a rolling acceleration, and then the GT-R, boost immediately comes on and speeds up immediately at a rolling start.

That M8 is a Beast! I severely underrated it, this drag was eye opening for me.
Me too...Ferrari are trading on their name...not performance. .at 150mph it was too far behind the BMW..whilst a decade old GTR was breathing down it's neck

@@TheMuzikall dont be stupid, most people would take the v12 over a turbo v8 anyday, both the m8 and gtc are made for be gran tourers so a 0.4 diffirence in a drag race means shit. they are almost identical in rolling speed. plus the ferrari will still be worth a lot in a few years where as the m8 like all m cars will be half its new price within 3 years

If there’s anything we’ve learned, Japanese automakers know what to do with a tight budget, don’t know what more to do with the extra money. GTR sticker price is dreadful now.

Transmissions have come a long way since that GTR was made. I know it's dual clutch and all that jazz but either way whatever ZF that BMW is rocking is going to switch gears way quicker
