+Mike Donahue XD Well, u may probably see me getting 50 before March, at that point some low level player may made a lot of money by fishing or gathering or else, they start to looking for some nice weapon or armor however at that point no one can build a nice weapon. Here comes the grinder with the nice loot and level 50 makes them safer to gather stuff with mobs around in some high level places. Finally guess who will make the big money? ;D

+Mauricio Garcia Go with a tamer, there is a class coming later on who uses the game weapon (you can put your tamer weapon into the storage and take it out when that other class come out and use it on your new toon later on, just a tip ;) )

Love the guides. One thing that kind of bothers me about BDO is how grindy it is though, like everything is a grind: levelling, gearing, questing, professions, horses, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g >.< and from your previous guides I gather that gear > skill, so to be competitive we'll have to grind our asses off..
+Saturn666 This is how MMOs started off. The old-school mmos like everquest, ultima, lineage, mu, etc. were pure grind fests, and we loved it. Then wow and the whole themepark mmo craze came and these sort of died out, so its nice to see one after so long.
ARGnasher Personally I despise grinding. Especially when grinding is more important than player skill. Grinding is obviously impossible to avoid, but when every aspect of a game revolves around grinding then it becomes quite tedious.

Most people will be running around at level 50 with +10-15 equipment for a long while until we get updates, so technically there is still ways for others to catch up. When I want skill>everything type games I'll go back to mmos centered around it, like BnS, GW2 or the fps genre. That's what is so great about gaming nowadays, we are spoiled with so many options.
This game rocks!!!! what a nice endgame.. also Korea has had tons of new stuff that we will also get, PvE dungeons ,arenas.. 3 new zones, new gear, new bosses.. all that for free no expansion paying like WoW

+g00nyt 1 - Objective might not be entirely possible. He has played all the classes, and he will have a personal favorite, so there might be some bleed-through. Not on purpose mind you, but it's very hard to be objective since he will have a certain play-style that might be covered better by one class over another. 2 - Here's an example. I thought the Ranger was very hard to AoE grind mobs with, but when watching others play the Ranger, they seemed to have no problem, so I would say definitely not the Ranger, but your play-style might be right in that wheelhouse. By the way, I have heard that the Ranger is a beast late game. 3 - He has a video on the Tamer, and that might be helpful. Although, I have watched them all, got in the CBT2, and I still don't know which one I want to level. 4 - Sorry to jump in here when you directed it to Hakurai, but I thought I could help a little by not being of any help at all actually, now that I'm reading this again. 8-P
+g00nyt Tamers are NOT underpowered, at all, it was just a joke on the fears from the forums. Tamers will struggle through mediah patch. You will be strong at launch (Armor is capped at +15). At mediah when +20 comes out, it'll be harder for you for a bit, but not much. In Valencia when awakening weapons come out, you're strong again. Do not worry about it, you will not struggle to keep up with others.

+Psycho Mikey I have always been into raiding, and this game gives me the chills how good it is (didn't play beta or invested time knowing about this game before buying it). So from a hardcore raider from Wildstar and SWTOR i'm in love with this game. It's a endless grind to upgrade your gear with a special stone you either get from random drops or from the marketplace (they are all out on EU most of the time). It's worth the time and i love that this game have alot of "endgame" when it comes to professions and leveling up in different things like cooking and stuff like that. This game have a ton of items and i already spent 3 days in-game XD and now i can't wait until the downtime is over for the official launch in an hour or so :P
if im solo player .... why i should share my scrols with other people ?? giving items to people i dont know and will not play with them dosnt make sense to me ...
+Michal Janovský - Your schroll provides them 1 extra item... you would get 4 extra items. Since they would find a 5th person without you, it would only benefit you to join the group.
+pepps779 these are low level bosses on KR (50-55), I am in a group with fully geared +20 level 58 KR players. (+20 not available at launch). They're making the bosses seem much easier than they are, these are 'old' bosses to them.
+pepps779 the bosses have no challenge even if you're not geared. the only thing they have is high hp. nothing else. it'd be better if bosses had like 1 hp and get over with this easy and boring fight as quickly as possible instead of wasting time for something that is not even 1% challenging. if you see some videos that bosses randomly 1-shoting players, that's not good at all. that's lazy as fuck job from dev team. mobs are even worse btw, so have fun killing thousand of braindead mobs

+Umbra アマイデス BnS is absolutely horrible. Way to much themepark and plays a lot like all other MMORPGs out there. Biggest dissapointment in a long time. Black Desert is amazing and lived up to its hype and is everything and more BnS was meant to be or was hyped up to be. I am really mad about BnS but I have let it go because Black Desert came out haha.
Does any of that endgame content or these later bosses have more complex mechanis? Or are they basically HP sponges without AI like the rest of the game? Seems to me the game is just grind mindlessly without any challenge and Guild PVP on the side. Just spend a couple hundred hours grinding, while waiting for the next expansion to grind even more. Now i understand why the game is basically dead in Asia.
The bosses and higher level monsters require that you actually pay attention and use your evasion skills or you'll get wrecked. When you see his archer dancing around spamming it might look like nonsense but he is also kitting the mobs to minimize being hit.
+Genjuro77 the game requires a lot of time. Western players don't understand that Koreans usually play in gaming coffee shops for about 30 mins to an hour. Home computers for gaming are not a common thing there. That is why games with little time investment like B&S are popular there. On the other hand you don't get far in a time consuming mmorpg like BDO in barely an hour.

Haywire5714 yes grinding gear in dungeons till the group can overcome an encounter makes much of a difference to that system - oh wait did I just call dungeon farming grinding? because that is what it is.
So why farm all this gear? What is there to do with it? All I hear is "farm this, farm that", but no one talks about what you ultimately use your money / gear ON.

amnity for the yuria vendor is very easy though. Once you know about all NPC's in calpheon he is interested in. you can easily get 500-800 amnity in 1 conversation.

+Nudibranch you found a cross road quest! If you abandon the black spirits quest, the NPC's quest will re-appear

Not on purpose mind you, but it's very hard to be objective since he will have a certain play-style that might be covered better by one class over another.
2 - Here's an example. I thought the Ranger was very hard to AoE grind mobs with, but when watching others play the Ranger, they seemed to have no problem, so I would say definitely not the Ranger, but your play-style might be right in that wheelhouse. By the way, I have heard that the Ranger is a beast late game.
3 - He has a video on the Tamer, and that might be helpful. Although, I have watched them all, got in the CBT2, and I still don't know which one I want to level.
4 - Sorry to jump in here when you directed it to Hakurai, but I thought I could help a little by not being of any help at all actually, now that I'm reading this again. 8-P
+g00nyt Tamers are NOT underpowered, at all, it was just a joke on the fears from the forums. Tamers will struggle through mediah patch. You will be strong at launch (Armor is capped at +15). At mediah when +20 comes out, it'll be harder for you for a bit, but not much. In Valencia when awakening weapons come out, you're strong again. Do not worry about it, you will not struggle to keep up with others.

+Psycho Mikey I have always been into raiding, and this game gives me the chills how good it is (didn't play beta or invested time knowing about this game before buying it). So from a hardcore raider from Wildstar and SWTOR i'm in love with this game. It's a endless grind to upgrade your gear with a special stone you either get from random drops or from the marketplace (they are all out on EU most of the time). It's worth the time and i love that this game have alot of "endgame" when it comes to professions and leveling up in different things like cooking and stuff like that. This game have a ton of items and i already spent 3 days in-game XD and now i can't wait until the downtime is over for the official launch in an hour or so :P

These summoned 'bosses' are going down in less than 10 seconds. Do they not scale with the amount players?
+pepps779 these are low level bosses on KR (50-55), I am in a group with fully geared +20 level 58 KR players. (+20 not available at launch). They're making the bosses seem much easier than they are, these are 'old' bosses to them.

+pepps779 the bosses have no challenge even if you're not geared. the only thing they have is high hp. nothing else. it'd be better if bosses had like 1 hp and get over with this easy and boring fight as quickly as possible instead of wasting time for something that is not even 1% challenging. if you see some videos that bosses randomly 1-shoting players, that's not good at all. that's lazy as fuck job from dev team. mobs are even worse btw, so have fun killing thousand of braindead mobs

Does any of that endgame content or these later bosses have more complex mechanis? Or are they basically HP sponges without AI like the rest of the game? Seems to me the game is just grind mindlessly without any challenge and Guild PVP on the side. Just spend a couple hundred hours grinding, while waiting for the next expansion to grind even more. Now i understand why the game is basically dead in Asia.
The bosses and higher level monsters require that you actually pay attention and use your evasion skills or you'll get wrecked. When you see his archer dancing around spamming it might look like nonsense but he is also kitting the mobs to minimize being hit.
+Genjuro77 the game requires a lot of time. Western players don't understand that Koreans usually play in gaming coffee shops for about 30 mins to an hour. Home computers for gaming are not a common thing there. That is why games with little time investment like B&S are popular there. On the other hand you don't get far in a time consuming mmorpg like BDO in barely an hour.

yes grinding gear in dungeons till the group can overcome an encounter makes much of a difference to that system - oh wait did I just call dungeon farming grinding? because that is what it is.

amnity for the yuria vendor is very easy though. Once you know about all NPC's in calpheon he is interested in. you can easily get 500-800 amnity in 1 conversation.

i find it pretty hard getting info about the professions, in the cbt2 i didn't even manage to level alchemy by 1% eventhough i thought i had an alchemy recipe >.< . apart from fishing and farming i don't really understand the professions yet and it would be awesome if you could dedicate a video to them :D
