Jango's life in both versions was definitely interesting I still think he's Mandalorian as most non-mandalorian bounty hunters lack the honor that Jango had.

As a person who knows alot about history and politic, the first thing that came to my mind when Almec was lying. When have people started to take politian words as the truth or even the whole truth? The british empire had a army's of privateers and pirate but claim they didn't work for them, even claiming how they will punish the pirate themselves if they given them but In Reality they just let them go.

To be honest, I don't know why people think that Jango's armor being made of Durasteel proves that he is not a Mandalorian. Lightsaber resistant metal is expensive and rare and requires special techniques, so realistically speaking, only the elite would have armor forged of Beskar.

Kaden Eichhorn Din had a beskar helmet which would have been donated to him by older mandos since he was a foundling. My theory is that Fett was in fact a mandalorian that fought in the mandalorian civil war years before the phantom menace. My guess is he was on the losing side and post war, his beskar armor would have been confiscated and melted down since the mandalorians were now pacifists. At that point I think he may have been an early member of death watch based on the color of his new armor, which would also explain why all the death watch members die so quickly as well. After getting his new durasteel armor, I’d say he disagreed with Death watch’s tactics and left the group to pursue his career in bounty hunting. The statement about him being a fake by the prime minister could also reflect his falling out with Death Watch and a cover up for them supplying his armor. None of this has any canon sources, it’s just the best way that I’ve justified him being a mandalorian still and explaining his armor with his old backstory being relegated to legends.

Thanks for this, my favorite character other than Vader that is. Wish Disney would have made more of his Bounty Hunter game canon. Loved that Dooku decided on a clone template by a contest rather than just looking him up in whatever the Star wars version of Kijiji is. Komari Vosa was an excellent test, and short explanation for never marrying, "Not in this lifetime Roz".

They definitely seem like the people who would go to extreme lengths to manipulate statistics.
Lucas probably has to balance idea of heritage with the fact that the Fetts were ruthless killers.. SW is a moral story..he didn't want idea that brutality is rewarded with no cost.. in the end the deeds catch up eg Jango's death..and Boba's easy defeat by Han (by accident) 😄

Jango has become one of my favorite SW characters, and is definitely an example of why I often like to blend Legends and Canon. While on the one hand, 'Bounty Hunter'/'Open Seasons' will remain my headcanon b/c of how it threads into the prequels, and specifically Order 66, I like what canon has done with Jango's legacy. Specifically, the comparison of Boba Fett and Captain Rex. Boba, Jango's only true copy, would see his father killed in action and grew up alone and angry, eventually cementing his own legacy as a bounty hunter--not one without honor, but more ruthless, maybe, than even his father. Rex, on the other hand, was just another clone in the massive Republic Army, who rose to set himself apart, and eventually even rejected his programming and chose to act on his own moral compass. One died ignobly at the hands of a blind Han Solo. The other lived long enough to join the Rebellion and see the destruction of the second Death Star. Both embodied elements of Jango Fett, who was a man of honor but still, ultimately, a villain. Fun stuff!

That's pretty much a fair point, it makes sense for royal families to have them because they are easy to be passed on by generations. So I'm sure they all have to wait for Beskar to be obtained and later get their armors, until then, they should use something resistant for the time being. Which having a armor that is not beskar should teach them in a way that they should be careful and train their reflexes, making them more skilled in combat.
I think that beskar is never fully pure in armour, and cheaper armour has a lower ratio of beskar to durasteel - explaining why death watch soldiers seem to have much worse armour than say dyn jarren in the mandalorian. Din Djarin has no Beskar armor because you need to be Verd'ika (private) to get the armor. But Din's promotion was way too late as the empire had stolen most of the Beskar from the Mandalorians via Gar Saxon and the Imperial Supercommandos. Moff Gideon also ordered a bombardment of Mandalore causing Beskar to become even more rare. That's why its called rare and expensive even by Mandalorians. The Death Watch didn't have much Beskar at all because they were constantly forced to change position from the True Mandalorians during the Mandalorian Civil War. Also when Death Watch was made half-extinct by Jango Fett, the Death Watch was scared shitless and refused to come out until he passed away. Yea, the reason for deathwatch hiding is because of fear of Jango Fett, not those pacifist new mandalorians. If the death watch wasn't spending their time on the True Mandalorians, death watch would have shat on the pacifists and fucked them up ten times over.

Man, the prequels honestly had the best world building out of all the movies imo. They made you feel like you were actually in a galaxy far far away. The originals are no doubt good but all the new worlds and species introduced in the prequels really added to the theme. I still think CGI aliens are better than props or puppets. Especially Yoda, he looked like home made trash in the new movies. But, the new movies are home made trash too so.. oh well. Great video!
Man I can’t wait to see what happens in the Mandalorian when Boba Fett (a “fake” Mando) meets Din Djarin (a beskar-clad OG Mando). I really hope that we get to see how Boba views the the mandalorian culture and whether Din truly sees Boba’s armor as being sacrilegious.
Jango likely used the Dart because Dooku told him he'd removed it from the Jedi data bases, and likely Sidious had removed it elsewhere, if not for Dex the trial would've gone cold. We could also say without the lead to Kamino the jedi wouldn't have got their army until the opening part of the war.
I believe jango and boba’s armors are both made of beskar now. And Boba’s armor belonged to jango, but not sure if it’s the same suit repainted or Jaster Mereal’s armor.

Probably best to make a another version of the cannon oirgin of Jango fett since he's a mandolorian now and Jaster Mareel is Cannon now. Jango fought in the civil mandolorian wars like in Legends Jango's armor is actually been retconned to beskar not durasteel anymore... As another thought if Jango's armor is beskar now I feel he would put up a better fight towards mace windu now I mean Din deflected blows from ashoka with is armor ( I know originally beskar wasn't a thing during the prequels so that explains Jango's death or you know..... plot armor) but hope you'll cover it
His head got severed below the helmet and above the chestplate. Which is a decent explanation to how he couldn't defend himself against Mace Windu. Mace was too precise imo. Either that or his armor is made of beskar alloy opposed to pure beskar like Din Djarin's suit. Which also explains how the armor ended up getting damaged when Boba wore it.
I really like when people who do life story videos talk in the character's point of view like how to jedi were evil and I like that you said the Jango had his revenge against the jedi when the clones who were all made from him killed all the jedi I never thought of it that way that's pretty cool

Tom Warlitner actually Boba Fett survived the pit monster both in Legends and Canon. Maul also survived and returned in the clone wars.

Man, the prequels honestly had the best world building out of all the movies imo. They made you feel like you were actually in a galaxy far far away. The originals are no doubt good but all the new worlds and species introduced in the prequels really added to the theme. I still think CGI aliens are better than props or puppets. Especially Yoda, he looked like home made trash in the new movies. But, the new movies are home made trash too so.. oh well. Great video!
If I were to make a star wars parody movie or an anthology movie on Jango I'd obviously call it "Jango Unchained".

Why did that guy have a problem with Jango Fett being a bounty hunter if Mandalorians often were bounty hunters?
Jango likely used the Dart because Dooku told him he'd removed it from the Jedi data bases, and likely Sidious had removed it elsewhere, if not for Dex the trial would've gone cold.
We could also say without the lead to Kamino the jedi wouldn't have got their army until the opening part of the war.

I believe jango and boba’s armors are both made of beskar now. And Boba’s armor belonged to jango, but not sure if it’s the same suit repainted or Jaster Mereal’s armor.

Probably best to make a another version of the cannon oirgin of Jango fett since he's a mandolorian now and Jaster Mareel is Cannon now. Jango fought in the civil mandolorian wars like in Legends
Jango's armor is actually been retconned to beskar not durasteel anymore... As another thought if Jango's armor is beskar now I feel he would put up a better fight towards mace windu now
I mean Din deflected blows from ashoka with is armor ( I know originally beskar wasn't a thing during the prequels so that explains Jango's death or you know..... plot armor) but hope you'll cover it
His head got severed below the helmet and above the chestplate. Which is a decent explanation to how he couldn't defend himself against Mace Windu. Mace was too precise imo.
Either that or his armor is made of beskar alloy opposed to pure beskar like Din Djarin's suit. Which also explains how the armor ended up getting damaged when Boba wore it.
