It's hard not to respect someone who's good at what they do, be that bounty hunter or surgeon, bricklayer or mechanic. It's a good reminder that you should take pride in what you do, not matter how comparatively humble that job might be. I was a general sales manager at a car dealership. Out of everyone there, the guy i respected that most was the guy who cleaned and reconditioned trade-ins and used cars bought at the auction. This guy could make a 12 year old sh*t box look brand new (at least that interior). Most guys vacuum the carpets, spray and wipe down the interior and then wash the outside. THIS guy, no matter what the cat was would start by taking all the seats out, vacuum then shampoo carpets and seats, then wash, wax and buff the exterior. Most cleaned, he restored. Unfortunately the guy was also an alcoholic, and the most self-destructive kind. He didn't drink every day, he'd go weeks and sometimes months without drinking, but when he did he went big and you wouldn't see him for days. Against my strong protestations, they ended up firing him.

Dooku is clearly the villain of Attack of the Clones, willing to plunge the galaxy into war, but he still actually cares about one of his minions, and is shown so when said minion is suddenly brutally killed. I don't like villains' that show no emotion, and don't give a shit about anyone one their own side. It's dull and uninteresting. Just with this tiny, half a second reaction, it makes Dooku far more interesting as a character, as well as his relationship with Jango.
I used to wish we would get another Jango video game, or movie, or tv series, but i dont anymore. Disney would just fuck it up. Like turning the galaxy's most deadly bounty hunter Boba Fett into a dancing, super nice, crime lord who defeats his enemies with the power of friendship! Dooku had a soft spot for anyone who could pull off wearing armor and a helmet 24/7. Jedi robes are so last millennium. Jango made battle gear look like the new haute couture, and Dooku could totally appreciate a man who could bring style to the battlefield.

I recently got a hold of a Razor Crest from the new line that is like Hasbro's Imaginext, it isn't as altered since it is for older kids not yet into the main figures. I am going to paint it in the Maroon, Green and cream of the "Legacy" it may have a different Mando pilot and Grogu sitting in co-pilot but it is the Gunship of a Mandelorian. Jaster Marel. Also what is with all these viruses and fungus (if it was spread by spores that sounds more fungal) that can kill in hours? But all those traits are traits of machiavellianism and narcissism which, even in real life, often leads to destructive actions, mostly due to the blindness brought by hubris and overconfidence. I think that many people think that Dooku held much regrets about his life when on his knees in front of Anakin but I think he didn’t, because again, as Anakin actually, he always thought his actions and beliefs to be righteous and legitimate… which is of course false in both cases (Vader and Tyrannus actions were definitely not legitimate nor righteous in any capacity or forms, only on the very thin surface.
