I was there. Travelled up from London Alex Stepney was still living in London so he was on the train back for a few matches. United fans used to sing you sold the wrong one at Chelsea. The return at Stamford bridge was 3-1 to United. Tony Hateley, Osgood's replacement, didn't win a header all match against the great Billy Foulkes. There weren't that many Chelsea fans at he match, but they stood under the TV gantry, hence the noise.
I was at this game, age 13, at the Stretford End. If Chelsea had been able to have Osgood fit that season, they would have challenged United for the League and might have gone one better in the Cup Final the following year.
@ 6-00...incredible,..listen closely...the Stretford End is singing..''Keep Right On To The End Of The Road... though you're tired and weary...etc''...which of course was the Birmingham City fans anthem,...didn't they adopt that for their FA Cup final against Man City in 1956? They've sung it ever since.
My 14th birthday and went to The match. Interesting to hear about millwall's 53 rd game unbeaten at home.
does my heart good to see real players again, no puff of wind blowing them over.

Wonderful to see ultra rare footage of Bobby Noble. He should have had a great career for United & England but for the car crash!
George Best... What a fantastic player. And Allan Harris was beast
He looks crap in all these pre 67 vids I see
Flashy but no end product. Got spectacularly better late 60s and then got spectacularly worse!
Fair few Chelsea fans there wonder if there was any 'biffin' in those days
