Great question CR. Usually the shot passes right through the meat, but if you remove the breast bone it's easy to squeeze the shot out if it's still in there.

The Quail are very plentiful it appears around here.....they are on their way to a new destination! As an addition....try some bacon wrapped water chestnuts ...a veggie....(a recipe from the 1960's). I truly thought you would add more bacon tho? Wrapped?...lol
