I've got a Jumper T18 as my radio, want to move to something smaller for travel..............my biggest concern of moving to one of these smaller radios is having to move my switches around. When I got into the hobby I ready wasn't sure how I should setup a radio, followed some people on YT on how they set theirs up. Biggest one that gives my pause was having Failsafe on SC and the arm/disarm switch. Great review as always. Heavily leaning towards the Zorro with elrs.

I've just got one, along with the OMPHobby M2 heli - there are NO instructions with either, and after trying to charge the tx from a USB, I found out why it as taking so long - no batteries installed! I double-checked the packaging - and have had to order a pair, at about £6 each. I had assumed the flashing red switch indicated it was charging, as do many of my other tx's (for different functions!)
This was my thought too when I saw the options available. I bet that a 4-in-1 + ELRS vesion would sell like crazy! I cannot understand why they didn't do this to begin with. Hopefully they get smart and release this version soon.
While a '5in1' module looks unlikely in the near future who knows if a radio vendor will provide a radio that has the ELRS and CC2500 (or full 4in1 setup) inside in the future. It would need three sets of updating processes though (Open/EdgeTX, MPM and ELRS)!
I've been watching Zorro reviews for over an hour now and the answer to one thing I've either missed or it's not been talked about, are its two 18350 cells wired in series or parallel? The test for this is easy, take out one of the cells and if it still powers up, they're wired in parallel.
@@kellyjordan @Jernej Avbersek Thank you both for answering, I've been concentrating more on what its button layout and its ergonomics are like than those details, I want a TX that's not half as bulky as my T16, since previous to that I had a Turnigy TGY-i10 which looks & feels like 2/3 the thickness.

I love that radio but I just can't keep up, couple months back I bought Tracer and I put AG1 gimbals on my TX 16s. First world problem but when do you stop upgrading?
So I preordered one of these, seems like a good entry level unit for RC. Although how well does this hold up for more complex programming? Say for example a larger scale fixed wing plane, but one that has multiple functions like flaps, landing gear and head tracking with a FPV camera?
There is a TBS Crossfire receiver available that you can directly plug your servo leads into. When will Elrs bring out the same sort of receiver so all of theHobby can benefit from this great new Tech. ELRS will explode with these receivers available for planes without the need for a Flight controller.

That's a great video and a fantastic looking radio. I have a question. Will smaller radios like this provide the same range as the full-size radios? Thanks.
Yes, assuming all other things are equal. They use the same chips as the larger models so have the same output power. Antenna placement is one of the biggest things that affect range...
