      But he DID use the blinker for 1 sec, which is not something you usually see with BMW's XD

    Many people might think that automatic bikes are boring. But it's actually quite nice sometimes do not be bothered with gears/clutch.

      @MargusMoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly!
      I figure if I was on a track day or really putting the bike through it's paces on some fun twisties, then sure manual gears are good. And for technical riding on loose stuff.
      But for travelling and in the city an automatic is waaaay more comfy

    Good vid man. Actually I think it’s more interesting to just hear your reaction to the bike and not hearing about specs like so many other reviews. Cheers!

    Hey mate!
    Happy to see you there !
    I had a little trip on a NC750X (as a passenger) a couple years ago and made a lil' video about,
    A fun bike, but not the one i'd choose to ride with
    The DCT gearbox seems fun tho
    For May maybe you could put a racing gas cap, that could solve the key issue
    See ya!
    Peace ✌

    • @MargusMoto
      @MargusMoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had heard about NC750X being dull before, but they have improved it a bit with the latest version. It can be ridden like a hoon. But yeah, it still lacks any kind of character.
      As for May’s gas cap.. I haven’t decided what to do just yet. A new gas cap does sound reasonable though. Decent ones do cost quite a bit though..

      @@MargusMoto Yeah can be a bit pricey but maybe not as much as changing all the key system on the bike 🤷‍♂️
      But maybe it's still under warranty so in this case I'd bring it to Husqvarna to be fixed 🤔

    • @MargusMoto
      @MargusMoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@deadbrainsblo The dealership did help me get that broken key out of the gas cap, but I paid for the new key. Husky warranty isn’t all that great. I also had to pay for a new brake rotor since apparently that is not covered and I guess it is not their fault the rotor warps in less than 2000km…

      Yeah.. I'm glad I have a habit of placing myself further away from cars if possible in my lane and also always covering the front brake when riding in the city... And also not being too much faster than the rest of the moving traffic. Still damn near soiled myself 😆

    DCT is typically clunky at low speeds in cars.

      I suppose in a 2 ton vehicle it would be less noticeable.. But then again, my car has a CVT, so I wouldn’t know 😊

    DCT and automatic are technically two completely different things. This bike has no automatic transmission. But I get the point…
    How did you feel on the seat?

    • @MargusMoto
      @MargusMoto  หลายเดือนก่อน

      True, technically speaking DCT by itself does not mean an automatic transmission, but from this bike will shift by itself so from the user's perspective it is automatic transmission. As Honda says on their homepage: "Our exclusive Honda automatic Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) lets you shift when you want to, or lets the bike shift for you."
      As for the seat - it was a while ago I rode this bike, but from what I remember it was one of the best feeling seats I've sat on. Now - take that with a grain of salt since the seats I'm used to are mostly two-by-fours commonly found on Enduro and Supermoto bikes, so the bar is fairly low. But my dad, who owned the bike, reported, that on his long rides never had a problem with the stock seat.

    • @juschu
      @juschu หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MargusMoto wow, I cannot sit on it longer than 3 minutes, everything hurts as hell.
      I had the TDM 850 and currently own as 2nd bike the Tiger 1050 (´12). Those bikes have seats I can sit on for hours.
      Maybe in winter I travel to France, to „sellerie“, a seat manufacturer. They have a big number of different forms and designs, maybe something fits better than my original…

    • @MargusMoto
      @MargusMoto  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @juschu Could be a matter of weight and buttock size and shape. 🤷 I and my dad are fairly light with minimal rears. I can sit on an enduro hard seat for hours with no issues..

      It’s not only about looking cool. It’s about feeling cool being on the bike. Or simply special. If I don’t get that in a bike I might as well be driving a car.

    This DCT is just a big scooter

    • @MargusMoto
      @MargusMoto  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1
