  • Are you thinking about moving to Newmarket Ontario Canada? Let’s explore the pros and cons of living in Newmarket Ontario and learn all the things you need to know today!
In this detailed video, we delve into the aspects you need to know before making the big decision to move. From the vibrant dining and shopping scene on historic Main Street to the city's natural beauty, trails, and parks, Newmarket Ontario Canada has something for everyone.
Housing options are diverse, ranging from heritage homes with character to condos, apartments, detached homes, semi-detached homes, and spacious estate homes. The city also boasts excellent school options, with over 48 public schools scoring 4% higher than the national average. Transportation is convenient, with the Viva bus system and GO train providing accessible options for residents.
However, it's essential to consider the cons. The high cost of living, particularly housing prices exceeding $1 million for detached homes, maybe a significant factor. Additionally, the unpredictable weather, experiencing unexpected rainstorms and cold winters with substantial snowfall, might be challenging for those unaccustomed to such conditions.

I moved to Newmarket when it was a small town more than 30 years ago to get away from the city. Now it's just part of the GTA and it too busy.

Thanks for sharing! Newmarket has become an extension of Toronto.

Spent part of my childhood there, on Beswick Drive. It's a great town!

Hey there, I’ve seen your Aurora video too! Great work! Planning to relocate to Ontario from Halifax. Between Newmarket and Aurora, which one would you prefer more? And what would be the biggest reasons that distinguish them? Thanks!

Hi @ursaminor3740 thank you for the feedback!! It depends on your personal preference, Aurora has more of a small town vibe, it's technically bigger by land mass than Newmarket but since half the land is taken up by golf courses it doesn't feel bigger, it actually feels smaller than Newmarket. Newmarket has an amazing historic downtown core, which I frequent with my family, and generally lower real estate pricing (for rent/sale). I'd love to assist with your move, whenever you ready, feel free to setup a call with me at this link - calendly.com/meet-filipp/introductory-call

Maybe you should consider building limitations, Newmarket does not have the water infrastructure to build many more homes and commercial units. The Mayor has already had to turn down MANY housing developments, so no NO ONE SHOULD BE MOVING HERE!!!

There are still multiple projects that were previously approved and still to be developed. Also there is lots of fantastic resale options. I have resided in Newmarket for 29 years and its a great town to live in.

Newmarket's proximity to Toronto pretty much assures people will continue moving to Newmarket for the foreseeable future, don't think it's possible to buck this trend.
