When I'm out on the road, I always wonder if I'd run into Truckers I'm subscribed to. I found it cool that you were literally about a half hour from me; stuck in the snow storm in Maryland. I've run into a few of my subscribers which was pretty cool. Felt good being able to actually see and interact with my supporters. Keep Truckin Driver and you and Teddy be safe. 🫶🏾

Of all the weather conditions you could drive in, l'd take snow over ice. At least with snow, you have some traction, but with ice, you literally have none.
My company is located in south east Pennsylvania (about an hour west of Philadelphia). This video I was near Frederick, Maryland for the delivery. I’ve been over the road for 5 years now but I worked locally for 18+ years hauling a milk tanker and then rail containers. I much prefer OTR

I’ve been a truck driver for 28 years. The last 18 years was jet fuel delivery in the state of Arizona. Very easy career. In my own bed every night. With my little Yorky.

@@LafondaJackson436 actually I’ve been with the company 23 years. It’s been a good career. I can’t complain about what I’ve done over the years. I just could not do over the road like you do because I would feel so lonely. I can’t stand the thought of being out in the middle of nowhere and nobody that cares about you is with you and there’s nothing like sleeping in your own king size bed with the heat on nice and toasty warm
Pulling PM before leaving, I'm sure that is SOP. Don't you just love driving in snow, slush,and ice pulling a trailer? You did a fantastic driving job. It’s not my favorite kind of driving but sometimes you just gotta do it! 🥶 😜and it’s not very shiny at the moment (couldn’t get it washed either until the bunk window gets fixed 🙄it’s in the peterbilt shop right now…

@@LafondaJackson436 I'm in Florida, only dealing with cold weather, no precipitation to deal with. They are calling for freeze warnings for the next two nights at least, staying cold for several days to come. I like "seeing" the snow, not the dealing with it. One of the reasons (we then) I left Dover as we lived in the mountains and the main driveway was 1/8th of a mile up on a 45 degree angle. Even with all time 4 wheel drive it could get interesting. Our neighbor with his plow got stuck more than once.
@@michaelmatthews8953 oh my! I went to FL once and it was July and I had a hard time dealing with the humidity down there. But I guess that is better than dealing with the snow/ice up north! 😅

I’d say that my videos are too 😄 I found it very hard to talk to an inanimate object at first but once my subscribers started to comment and I could communicate with people, it made it a lot easier (although I still get really nervous and awkward sometimes). 😊
