Let's go over the process to transfer your phone number from your current phone to a new phone if you bought a new phone and potentially with a new carrier. Thanks for your time today.
What if you are transferring from one company to another with the same carrier? I have StandUp Wireless and am thinking of switching to Assurance and I think they both use T Mobile's network
What if you want to stay with the same carrier but transfer the # a different used phone someone gave to you? and the phone you have now doesn't have working sound so you can't call?
My problem is I lost my phone so I bought a used older model and the att store sales person told me in order to restore my old number I must buy a brand new phone that costs 10 times more than the used one I just bought. She said no and that I would have to change my old phone number in order to get a SIM card for my new phone . Verizon said I could keep my old number so I will probably switch to Verizon.
Basically, call your carrier and they can walk you through the steps. I like that last sentence.
