The device might be an original but I don’t believe that the method involved is all too mind blowing. White Castle punches holes in their patties for the same reason and the enclosure for keeping in the juices and even cooking is something that burger joints do with the half sphere lids, I think.

When he said no toppings, I finally felt like I was understood by someone. A burger with toppings can be great, don't get me wrong, but there's something amazing about a burger that's just about tasting the beef, with maybe a bit of cheese to add to it in such a specific way. Since they come from the same animal, the flavour profiles just compliment each other perfectly with taking anything away from either. He must truly make an amazing hamburger.
yup. its how i make my own burgers at home to my preferred tastes. season my burger, add some cheese, maybe i butter the bun a bit but other than that... thats all.
I like a little crunch, so I'll do just cheese with some fresh sliced jalapeno or even a little shredded cabbage. It's sweeter than lettuce and has a better crunch. And not on a bun, toasted bread. Like a nice rye, crusty peasant style, sourdough, or even pumpernickel. My grocery store bakes really good bread in house, I get that rather than the big name brands, way better.
Yo man I also feel it, however, I do think a single pickle helps. It cuts through the richness many burgers with cheese have and the sour compliments the taste. That aside anything else is too extra

Rlack Babbit oh , sorry I have a girlfriend, but i appreciate 😉
goldweel well I said that as a joke and then was another , when everyone was laughing . But for some reason they cut it . All time I was very positive , don't know why I look so grumpy
The burgers look delicious, but that grilled cheese wasn't melted.
Vincenzo Marsden I'm sure they didn't want to insult the guy lol

nor grilled... need that fat crispiness on the bread!
@@abepresume8132 truuu lmao I watched it again and not one of them actually said anything about the quality or taste of the grilled cheese
The chef looks like J.K. Simmons from Whiplash. Almost expected him to throw the cast iron at someone while swearing liberally.
Last Wednesdayism is it cooking or is it burning?
@@SayaaNara Not quite my temperature.

I love you guys. You're having so much fun exploring food! Hahahahaha. What a bunch of buttheads bringing Wonder bread to Masa's kitchen! Great job.
Boy they sure are some darn scoundrels.
You guys are being kind.
There's always an asian who's better than you
The funny part is that your statement is statistically correct. No matter what thing you do, there is a very likely chance there is a person in Asia who is much, much better than you are at it.
@@fictionmyth what about America, is there a lower chance of someone being better than I am? Statistically speaking?
@@marv9906 america is a big pile of smelly beacon and cheese with some fat rude people in it and ofc i by no means say all people in america is like this
@@mahmoudsalah6418 wow dude, chill out, you're trying too much
this is also true about asians, thats where anime showdowns come from
He's got the right idea, only cheese no condiments. 👌
Masa is such a down to earth kinda guy. I'd have a beer with him...
I need one of those
"Sushi place doing a burger....I dono......."
PRETZEL BUN
"SOLD!!"
Its fun seeing how a sushi chef decides to make burger and nail it.
When you can't afford a George Foreman grill but have a massive wood fire grill and wood and an iron smelting shop in your garage.
tbmagis 😂
Me wondering: Look the chef is bald
Meanwhile in the video....2 ft flames
Me: Well, good for him 😅
Having not come here with an open mind: this man is a genius.
Am I the only one who sees this as someone who took a pudge pie maker, took off the handle, and gave it spikes on the inside.....
Chef Masa is so dope

Chef Masa is A L P H A
This video really makes me hungry and the burger is so good with cheese but the only problem is that I want a burger now So enjoyable to watch.👍😋
Any sensible man: cooking meat through without drying it out and give it a little roast.
Americans: whooyaa amazing, never thought about that!
The British: "Lets boil the burger!" Most of Europe: "Its horse meat but we don't care!"
Are we not gonna talk about how he cut open a bag of bread....
4:02 Bro did anyone notice this man opening his first bag of bread ever? Lmao 😂
Masa is a badass old man, like an anime character lmao
