Yes, this is disappointing no doubt about that. But at least 343 is being transparent about this, and the multiplayer is still free to play, so there’s that at least
So 343 are charging us $60 for a campaign that doesnt have Co-op? GG 343 Edit: Just because its on Gamepass doesnt excuse the lack of content. What have 343 been doing for 6 years?
@@peacelove6455 I really don’t know why you’re acting like the campaign requires a co-op option to be playable even though most people play the campaign by themselves on their first play through, then go straight to multiplayer anyway, and guess what it’s going to be on Gamepass as well, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Honestly, I won't mind forge getting delayed if we end up getting ways of customizing AI behavior for bots. That would at least explain why forge got delayed by 6 months.
They should delay the game, I don't want to have a repeat of Halo 5 where there is no content at launch, but is instead patched in over the course of months and years
@@idi-002 "I don't want to have a repeat of Halo 5 where there is no content at launch" Really think about this one. Is lacking the ability to play the campaign the equivalent of no content? Is lacking the ability to make custom maps equivalent of no content? If that is the case, you have a definition for "no content" that I just dont understand.
Well it is the Halo community. Unfortunately there's a large portion of us that can't seem to be more understanding or see the positives when it comes to things like this.
It’s only because this is the same exact situation that killed H5. But at least H5 launched with campaign. Even if it sucked. Loved H5 but reasonably people are nervous now because they’re taking the same exact steps with this. It’s been 6 years it’s just very surprising.
These announcements have got me wondering how many soft reboots the game went through in development. Its been like 6 years, yet things are still going to be missing. They shouldnt have announced the game back in 2020 at all.
@@torb-no Fans are not game devs, look at the Henry Ford quote if you asked people what they wanted before cars they would have said a faster horse. "forge will be delayed. i know this will be a huge hit for all of you" Eh, actually don't care that much. as long as they bring it soon. "it'll be 6 months" oh
Yeah Co-op isn't a big deal for me as it is something i never do first and enjoy the game on my own. Forge however, I expect it to be huge especially with what Halo 5 did. Halo 4 was a big let down and they redeemed it with 5. I just hope it is worth the wait.
thats what im saying as much as I loved co op back in the day, I just dont get together with the homies like those days we are old and busy lol. With that said. I need campaign to have its shit ALL the way together. Thats the biggest thing for me right now. multiplayer wont disappoint
I only really care about the campaign and multiplayer personally, so like you say IF those two elements are genuinely in a good spot then I’m quite content. That said, 343 are not giving me a ton of confidence on the campaign front - since 2020 we’ve only seen screenshots, a confined close up cinematic of master chief and a pan over shot which aren’t really proof of polish. Really hope they show us something soon, even if it’s just a 3 minute gameplay clip of some combat.
Hate to make the blow harder but they already confirmed 6 months ago that co-op will only be 2 players per console and campaign will be 4 player online co-op.
@@jackcolson4745 We all will miss that split screen won't be there at launch, but I the fact its coming is a positive, kinda sucks we won;t ger 4 player co-op but I don't even remember when people used that anyway.
@@Dwyer-nl9fz should be, wont be. This is an open world game on a completely new engine built from scratch, and they have to compensate for the older consoles. Ah, you gotta be shitting me. Damn this is an unfortunate turn of events. Well, at least they are telling this instead of just surprising us with nothing like Halo 5.
This really sucks for me. This was going to be the first time my brothers and I would've had a chance to play a new halo campaign together at launch. We were all looking forward to exploring an open world halo ring with the four of us, but I guess that isn't happening now. We'll still probably buy the campaign and play it solo, but then once co-op is added I doubt we'll all have the same drive to play though it for a second time and we probably won't finish it together. If we do wait the 3+ months for co-op to be added, then at least one of us will have the story spoiled. There's no good option in this scenario unless the campaign is delayed.
Just wait 3 more months to play it, and stay away from spoilers. No need to delay the whole game for the rest of us. The majority of people are not gonna be playing the campaign in co op mode.
@@tinobrown1780 I highly doubt my brothers and I can all go into the campaign 3+ months after launch without the story being spoiled for at least one of us
It's not that hard to avoid spoilers. They are already out there after all. Enjoy the multiplayer with your brother and then play the campaign when it's ready.
No co-op campaign is a huge blow to me. My first run through of every halo campaign has always been split-screen co-op with my best friend since we were 7 years old. Halo 5 was acceptable, because even without splitscreen we could play online Co-op. But this is truly devastating for me. A warthog is a 2 man vehicle 😔
I'm still happy and excited for Infinite without a doubt, thank you for not tearing everything wonderful down because of a couple features we'll get down the road in the near future after launch, there's so many awesome and exciting things to look forward too and I'm happy you're keeping that energy Spartan 😊 at least we'll be able to play splitscreen campaign and Forge in the near future!
I might be in a minority here but the amount of people that are ok with devs releasing unfinished games worries me. IMHO this is not something we as consumers should be so lenient about.
You’re also the most correct. This sort of behavior is now fully accepted, which gives devs room and excuses to make lack luster products. This will bite gamers in the ass and already has. Let’s not forget, Bungie had all these available in Halo 3 and Theater mode was a REVOLUTIONARY technology that the industry had never seen. I don’t buy that with even more money and resources a game dev company can’t release the same features. Gamers have been lowering their standards for years, and then spin around to bitch and moan about how sucky things are.
@@Fredman5551 I couldn't have said it better. Look at Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout 76, hell look at Chronicles of Elyria. Gamers love to throw their money at devs with nothing but promises they can't back up. They're also ok with getting half baked games while paying full price. I feel sorry for all the people that wanted to play through the campaign for the first time with friends, siblings, etc. And Forge missing removes one of the best parts of Halo multiplayer, at least for me and for a lot of people too I'm sure. We should just wait for the game to be released on its entirety before giving devs our money. After all, if they already got their bag, what incentive do they have to finish not just a product, but a high quality one?
@@JesusHernandez-tm4uw I've never pre-ordered and never will. I refuse to pay for a product or service that doesn't exist. No other businesses function this way because It lowers incentive and produces a poorer product. I understand if a company has to piecemeal a game for whatever reason, but to then expect full price is absurd. If half the promised deliverables are available youre only entitled to 50% of the total price. If things were more like that, im certain these big companies will think automatically start changing their behavior. Halo splitscren with my siblings and friends was a big tradition of my childhood, that has carried on to this day. Im older and live alone now, so it won't impact me but I too feel bad for the split screen players. Id like to see some sort of survey about how much administrative bloat is in these companies and processes. I have a tickle that they are the primary problem.
There are single player campaign games that cost full price. Unless you're implying that halo campaigns are worth more than entire single player games.
@@jackcolson4745 You can't bring up the fact that some single player games are full price but not most fps games. Most of those are horror or survival games. And halo is usually a multiplayer first franchise. It doesn't make sense that an incomplete campaign cost 60 bucks. It should be max like 40. If I'm getting a single player only game at launch for 60 bucks without co op for 3 months they better give us the first 2 campaign DLCs in added on. I'm just sad that I waited 6 years for this game only to find out that its not up to par with the quality I expected. They have 6 fucking years to make this shit.
@@jackcolson4745 btw I'm not saying the game will be shit it will be awesome I know it but this is just soul crushing news. My week was already bad enough knowing I had to go back to school.
@@FranklinThe1 Halo has always been a campaign first game. That is what rose it into popularity. From the info and implications 343 have stated, a halo campaign might be worth $60 bucks now without splitscreen campaign co-op as a necessity. Will the campaign be incomplete? Yes because the features have been explicitly stated to be delays. Could it be worth 60 bucks on launch without the help of split screen co-op? Yes. The campaign could have very well been expanded in many other areas that make it worth as much as a single player campaign game today, if we go off of 343's word. I know what it's like to trust 343 in situations like these, but if we judge this without accounting any of their previous track record, we can eliminate the bias and prejudice and we can more fairly evaluate them. Microsoft is not going to let infinite tank. If 343 followed their word, the campaign is going to be the biggest, most expansive halo campaign ever. If the game ends up being the same length as previous halo campaigns then 343 lied. It's as simple as that; it could go either way. The entire launch package could be an equal amount of content, if not more than previous titles even if it will release with less features. That doesn't exclude the remaining launch features being bigger and more expanded upon, making up for the delayed features and eventually turning them into additions if the game becomes something worth more than it costs. I just try to look at the optimistic side of this, relating to the content decisions. P.S. a few corrections; the game has been in development for 5 years and we have been waiting 3 years for it because 2018 was when we first knew of its existence.
I honestly don’t mind this delay. That will give them time to make those features godly while we are busy with campaign and multiplayer so I honestly don’t mind. I just want to play the damn game lol
This is not even a real delay this is tactic set if I have to believe leaks then the campaign does not even come out that much later the game is just completely off all this is just purely tactical . I think they want to get gamers used to something like this so that they can release games on the game market at 60% in the future I've also once heard Phil say that episode games are going to come so games in episodes, this is just purely tactical not close to a delay in my view on it .
The no campaign co-op is the bigger blow for me, I can live without forge mode for a bit longer I just hope the campaign is great enough to want to replay it with my brothers
I'm kinda fine with both not being there. I don't really have friends to coop with so it doesn't really effect me much, as for forge it stings alittle because I really wanted to build a map and play on it with bots.
Don't feel too bad, the only people I have to play Halo with is my 6 and 7 year old niece and nephew, they are surprisingly skillful at fps' though thanks to Minecraft. Still, I always play the campaign through solo for my first time anyway, that way I can take my sweet time, so it's all good! Really hope they add split-screen for PC mind.
As someone who forges almost way too much on halo 5, the 6 month delay actually kind of makes me excited! Many halo 5 forge maps are incredible detailed, interesting, can be pretty big and overall fun as hell! All that with a total of 1600 pieces max is still amazing to me! and yes I know a lot of times, maps like those can come with many frame rate issues and even a few glitches, but with a new engine and a far better game with a way bigger budget, I feel some of the maps people are going to make once it releases will look like it might as well have been made by the game developers themselves and that makes me so happy to think about!
If they delay all the game 12 months to upgrade it and we get a good game, please tink what they do with 6 months with forget. I believe on 343 to do a really good work with forge
Well they upgraded the graphics to a “good enough” tier, last year was just laughable, it’s not like the game looks next gen or edge of technology in graphics but at this point it is what it is, the delay of forge could bring something like that, just good enough for launch
6 years since halo 5 has launched how is this acceptable? $70 for an unfinished flagship xbox game -_- its getting harder and harder to stay a gamer. feel like its been on the decline for years
I remember watching that video in the flashback. (Wow, just realized I've been watching you for like a year now.) Considering all possible timelines, we're still probably getting one of the better Halo Infinites. Think about it, if 343 had released this game in 2020, we would've gotten a completely non-functional mess of a game plus all of the missing features in the 2021 release. At least we'll get a functioning multi-player and campaign this year and we'll only have to wait a few months to get the rest of a typical Halo game experience.
>...we'll only have to wait a few months to get the rest of a typical Halo game experience. When you put it like that, it almost sounds like our standards have lowered.

By the look of it, no rtx on release and no talk whatsoever about it, no forge, no co op pc or console at launch in campaing, some texture and graphics still looking old gen, had the game released last year it could have killed the franchise, at this point I think they just wan to get it in a “good enough” position to launch. Hope I’m wrong though
I keep seeing people say 3-6 months… seasons are a span of 3 months. Who says we’re getting both features the first day of each season? Hate to break it to you people but June is still considered season 2
Just as I feared, halo infinite will be the most bare bones game at launch and we'll have to wait a few months at least before halo infinite will be considered more than "good"
Let's take a moment to remember that this game was supposed to be launching last year, and they're still having to delay main features. Imagine the state it must have been when they had to delay it the first time :o
Not a big forger but I feel for anyone out there who is, it’s a very important part of halo. At least we have a time frame on it though. My main concern is co-op, sad that it won’t be there at lunch but 3 months isn’t that bad
I’m honestly beyond bummed about lack of Co-Op Campaign. I’ve done my first play through of EVERY halo game with my best friend; and it sucks that this is the first time we won’t be able to do that. Either that or we’d have to wait 3 months after the game comes out and inevitably the campaign will get spoiled in that large of a timeframe
I mean, yeah, it sucks a bit. My friends and I were planning on meeting up all at the same house and marathoning the campaign over the launch weekend. Guess that can’t happen anymore. :/ but if that’s what they need to make it the best it can be, I’ll wait. I’d rather have it 3 months later than never, or have it be glitchy and broken at launch.
So in total. It will take 10months in total to have the complete game. 4months from now to release IF this year. By December (im speculating here just saying) 3months to Co-op. And 3more months for Forge. So why not just Delay the whole game until then??????
Rumor has it the new Forge is going to have a GitHub type system where you can "Git" versions of a map of you're developing. If that's their goal take all the time you need.
Forge isn’t a big deal at all and coop campaign kinda sucks but it’s not like it’s not coming after launch. Nothing really to be worried about imo. Most people play solo anyways
Coop is kind of a bummer but tbh, i'll most likely play the campaign once then play multiplayer until coop releases. As long as there is enough content keep me playing it will be fine.
It's not bad in the sense we'll dearly miss these features its bad in the sense of what else isn't complete what else did 343 lie about what is is broken or needs more time to actually be quality.
i do not understand this company at all. a year delay and not launching with assassinations because "its a strategical disadvantage" and no forge at launch because?? hell they have had a whole new year to work on it wtf did they do in that time i do not understand
Halo5 didn't have forge at launch either, we had to wait, they want people to focus on campaign and multiplayer first then forge, why would you want to play forge before campaign? Lol 🤦🏼♂️
@@ChadCawleyYT thats why i don't understand what they are doing. they didn't have it at launch and it made a lot of people mad. i want it at launch as i would expect a FULL game after 6 years of dev time. and i also don't like to beat the campaign in one night. i like to change between all the different modes. just 343 trying to do stupid shit after they do something good. but hey at least the microtransaction store will be open day one
I mean, I don’t think it’s an over reaction to be highly disappointed by the lack of co-op. My friends and I that have been playing Halo together since 2004 were really looking forward to playing through the campaign co-op. So not having that or forge is pretty fucking shitty of them to omit.
Cody Greene I feel a lot of preorders not happening now. Especially from myself. I think I will just wait to buy the game but there is still no excuse for this.
@@gamersinger5118 yeah now I’m just wondering if I should wait until the game is finished to get it. I’d rather them take the time to release it with all of the features fully polished than to release a fraction of the finished product.
@@codygreene9067 As much as it sucks that there's a delay, it's actually a good thing because back in 2020 the previous director of infinite (the one that left the game shortly after) said that forge would would be ready and available at launch, but when joseph staten came in as the new director he probably saw that what the previous director tought was good to launch now it's not acceptable to release, same thing with coop campaign and while it sucks that there's a delay, it means that because it's delayed it will be great and polished. Also most people don't realize this but there's only 2 options for 343 right now since the deadline is locked by Microsoft to be holiday 2021: -Delay forge and coop (objectively 2 secondary, albeit highly needed, features) and focus on polishing the multiplayer and campaign before lunch -Release everything but rushed out, meaning that multiplayer and campaign would lose quality since they would need to also make coop and forge available at lunch Between the 2 options i honestly prefer the first, even tho option 3 aka delay the game would be my favourite but that one is not available sadly.
@@gamersinger5118 NEVER PREORDER VIDEOGAMES, i learned this the hard way by preordering cyberpunk 2077.... Look, it’s not like they’re saying that there won’t be any coop or forge at all. Once you pay for the game and have it in your possession, you’ll still get those things eventually, maybe after a few months. It’s not like they’re scamming you like Blizzard did with WC3 Refunded
Forge i can understand and im fine with it coming out however many months after release but coop campaign 3 months after release is an absolute joke. I have never done a halo campaign solo...... ever. It has always been a multiplayer experience in my eyes. This is a huge L from 343.
Thank you for noting that game design is difficult. So many people are like "They could have just added it in at launch", it's easy. Right.. then you write the code as well as work on the animations for coop. You go ahead and create every model and make the UI for forge to work. I say this as a student in game design. I understand why they aren't adding certain features. I blame shareholders. Put the game out now, or lose our support and money.
Waberoid The problem isn't the work involved. Many understand this and Covid obviously does no one favors but games really should have all major content when it launches. This means pushing the game back more until you reach that point.
i wasnt going to play the campaign cause the story has sucked major ass since 4 and I dont believe infinite's campaign story will be good. So, they won't get my money, not because it bothers me, they wont get my money because I dont need to pay for multiplayer which is what Im going to be playing exclusively.
This was honestly a hard blow for me as a forger and someone who was planning on playing the campaign with my brother for the first time together, this was the hardest blow of news to hear about halo infinite
SAAAAME!! this is probably what they're most likely going at they probably want everyone to experience campaign alone and solo and focus on it solo with no distractions of siblings or online teammates, so once everyone has beat the campaign solo, then 3 months later everyone can experience the campaign coop together and find and look for shit, this is a different route but I'm totally ok with it lol, I'm a solo gamer anyway and much prefer to play solo, I don't like playing coop campaign with someone in person or online and having distractions like "hey let's go over here no let's go over here! No just listen to me lets go here" type bullshit lol
Even though i don't care too much about coop campaign and forge it does suck for those that do. I'm still confident that Halo infinite will be an amazing game.
Yo, is this dude not getting enough sleep? He had pink-eye last time I saw him, and not it looks like he saw a ghost and then entered a bar fight after not having sleep for 2 days
I was already planning to go through the campaign alone, and I’m not a Forger nor an avid Customs player. So this doesn’t really affect me. However, I do understand the frustration. Still excited for release.
It sucks but hey, I have no friends who play Halo so having 6 months to convince someone to buy the campaign isn't terrible for me and I don't use forge myself although it does suck that we won't get all that custom game content. Honestly, it all sucks that we don't get this but IMO this is significantly better than another 6 month delay at least so there's that.
Nick, that k you for being optimistic. Everywhere I look everyone is saying, "halo is dead" and believe that anything not made by Bungie will tank. I think the opposite will happen because of people like you who always look on the bright side. I haven't heard anywhere else that the split screen multiplayer was a thing. I think people are just trying to find more dirt to throw at 343. So thank you. Thank you for being one of few honest and transparent people in the world
I don't like the idea of the flights continuing after the game has been created. This means they're going to mess with the guns and try to balance and fit things in there when all they have to do is set the parameter correctly the first time and never touch it again
They should absolutely not delay because of this. It sucks those things won't be there at launch, but if the multiplayer and solo campaign is complete by release then they should absolutely release the game.
As the saying goes for this situation, "don't look a gift horse in the mouth" We're finally getting the game and that's what we should be hyping for, given the year we've been through. 343 stated this would be a live developed game, so it was to be expected we'll be seeing more content get added at a later date. It's not all bad news
“Game development is a tricky, tricky thing” NOT WHEN THEY’VE HAD 6 YEARS TO WORK ON THIS GAME, THAT’S MORE DEVELOPMENT TIME THAN MOST GAMES GET AND IT’S STILL RELEASING UNFINISHED. CAN YOU IMAGINE THE STATE OF THIS GAME IF IT RELEASED WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSED TO LAST YEAR??? STOP BENDING OVER!
We just can’t give them a hard time. Yeah, they had years to get this done, but Halo is held to a higher standard than any other FPS. It takes time, and the fact that they were put behind schedule with the virus for a whole year, is a big factor too. We get what we want: multiplayer and campaign.
Is this disappointing? Yes no doubt, but we have to remember that the devs certainly don't want this either and have no doubt been working their asses off to even get the game to the point it is at now. Forge and coop will come abt 6months after launch, and seeing as this game is supposed to last 10 years, 6 months isn't that much. The multiplayer is excellent, the campaign is supposed to be killer, so let's give it a chance.
Honestly, I play Halo for the story campaign (and MP once a while) and imo if the main plot sucks, adding all these additional functionalities won't save the game. Also, people are not considerate about the fact that COVID is most likely playing a big role in these delays, really entitled if you ask me. This is very inconsiderate of the community, instead of appreciating the transparency, people are literally calling it a failure.
@@gamersinger5118 you don’t get to decide what’s important or not, game development is not an easy task, takes a lot more skill then to just sit back infront of a screen and with controller all day. And as much as I would like to make a robust well optimized system/product, there are a lot unfortunate hurdles.
@@bonsuer1 I am not deciding anything. Again I completely understand the work that goes into game design but that does not excuse a product to release incomplete. But if you do not understand this then you are also part of the problem with the mindset that many seem to have these days. I can't really state anything more blunt than that but if it is the only way to get a point across then so be it. It may not be 343's fault. I am also aware of this. In fact I see the blame with Microsoft more than anything but the problem is still there regardless. It doesn't matter who is to blame. Games "should" never be released in an incomplete state. Please take that last sentence and explain to me if you can actually explain the problem with it. Not trying to be rude or anything and I realize this is tough for everyone especially these days but a product should always be finished no matter how much time is needed to do so. Additional content is understood at later times but something that should be with the finalized product is supposed to be with the game as it launches. I can't really say that with any more clarity.
@@gamersinger5118 Honestly I don't mind if they delay it and give the fans the full fledged proper release. But I bet there are also a lot of pushback which maybe coming from the top that nor 343 or us have any control on. This is why I am not trynna complain too much. What matters to me is what they release in the first day runs without glitch and disappointment. This is why they are trynna be transparent and also have the insider program in place to get our feedback. I am not only part of the halo community. Being a fan of Doom I also happen to follow quite a bit on that community and I can assure you it's nowhere like this, which saddens me cause Halo is also one of my all time favorites. Doom Eternal promised certain features which never saw the light during its release. But the community is so wholesome that we all coordinated with ID Software while not losing our shit and started getting good contents coming after the initial release. My experience with Halo community has always been like this, very hard to please, and this is not a new thing, it's been like this since the initiation of Halo.
I’ll wait until they add co op and forge to pick up this game, I’ve always played co op with my buds so this is a huge blow for me. And I’m still waiting for cyberpunk to be fully fixed to buy too.
main problem for me is the delay of coop. it really hurts me as halo for me has always been about the adventure of playing with a friend and going through it for the first time together. but i do have hope that what we get in exchange is more then worth the delay. and hell i still think the game will be kickass i just think it will feel a bit less special to me anyway.
Good on em. Lessons learned from others mistakes -CyberPunk-. This franchise is plain out too important to release it under the false pretense that it’s complete.
343 proves time and time again that they are ill equipped to have control of the Halo franchise. They’ve had six years and 500 million dollars to create this game and they’re still about to deliver the fans a half completed mediocre launch.
I’m upset about co op and forge but people are overreacting. Show me all the multiplayer content first. If the multiplayer is lacking then delay it but it would be absurd to delay the whole game 3 months for one feature or 6 months for a map maker that truthfully the casual audience doesn’t use all that much. Obviously I can only speak for myself but I have played halo solo so many times I cannot fathom to count them but co op I can count them in my hand. The only time I played the most co op was when I was a child.
The only thing that makes me really sad is that there’s no co-op campaign at launch. I’m totally okay with the rest of the features slowly being released post-launch
A bit upsetting that Forge and Co-op campaign won't be at launch, but I can deal with them. My hyped is not any less than it was before this video. Bring on Infinite!
I'm not wanting to play sweaty MP so I play customs and coop with friends. I have zero reasons to play Infinite and same goes for a good chunk of players. They had a loooot of time to develop the game, there definitely was a big problem in planification.
Exactly, i do wish forge was a bit more prioritized tho cuz custom games are nice from time to time but it isn’t as bad as alot of people are making it out to be
Kinda would prefer them to just delay the game till this stuff is in the game. Kinda think halo needs great custom features to truly thrive. Might see a great decline before shit really gets going
Face it, 343 is releasing an unfinished game. Y’all defending them n shit, you guys are literally facilitating more Cyberpunks in this damn industry. Delay the damn game.
@@kwright663 a roadmap of content before launch means they haven't got enough content on launch to suffice. You need to hook players from launch in order for them to stay and experience the 'roadmap' of content you're planning.
I honestly am not mad at them for not putting Co-op and Forge in at launch. I think it's ok, as long as play and works fine when we have the chance, I wait a little longer. Idc if some of you hate me, there are REASONS to why they probably didn't add to launch.
Yeah honestly I think they want everyone to focus on campaign alone first with no distractions and get the full experiment and excitement then 3 months later finally play with your buddies and whoever down the road once everyone has beat the game, seems more organized to me to do 🤷♂️ I prefer this route if this is what they're doing, I would hate to play coop campaign at launch and someone going "hey let's go over here, no I wanna go over here, no go here" all the time lol
There is an upside to this though. They won't be releasing Forge yeah, it hurts a lot but they could make it 30x better than all forges combined. It could be like arcade editor from Far Cry 5, terrain editor, water levels, sky box, time of day etc.

I only really care about the campaign and multiplayer personally, so like you say IF those two elements are genuinely in a good spot then I’m quite content.

Halo splitscren with my siblings and friends was a big tradition of my childhood, that has carried on to this day. Halo has always been a campaign first game.

No just listen to me lets go here" type bullshit lol
@@ChadCawleyYT exactly!!! I hate experiencing a good story with someone in my ear lol

“The game is content complete “
“Nvm there’s no co-op or forge, or assassinations or elites or dual wielding.”
I really hope they don't treat Infinite the way Valve treats CS:GO. Constantly tweaking (and breaking) weapon balance.
That's why I stopped playing OverWatch
I’m willing to wait for Forge but no Co Op at launch is actually really frustrating
3 months for forge I could get behind but not half a year for forge and I love playing co op with my friends it’s just killed me hype
They should absolutely not delay because of this. It sucks those things won't be there at launch, but if the multiplayer and solo campaign is complete by release then they should absolutely release the game.
Yessss!!! Say it louder for the noobs in the back! ✊✊
As the saying goes for this situation, "don't look a gift horse in the mouth"
We're finally getting the game and that's what we should be hyping for, given the year we've been through.
343 stated this would be a live developed game, so it was to be expected we'll be seeing more content get added at a later date.
It's not all bad news
There’s a difference between content and features
@@IsmashedtoRedbone cut from the same cloth
“Game development is a tricky, tricky thing”
NOT WHEN THEY’VE HAD 6 YEARS TO WORK ON THIS GAME, THAT’S MORE DEVELOPMENT TIME THAN MOST GAMES GET AND IT’S STILL RELEASING UNFINISHED. CAN YOU IMAGINE THE STATE OF THIS GAME IF IT RELEASED WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSED TO LAST YEAR??? STOP BENDING OVER!
@James Votypka I know English is a hard thing to understand from smooth brain Browns fans.
We just can’t give them a hard time. Yeah, they had years to get this done, but Halo is held to a higher standard than any other FPS. It takes time, and the fact that they were put behind schedule with the virus for a whole year, is a big factor too.
We get what we want: multiplayer and campaign.
Indeed. I'm personally hyped as hell
I agree I think they did good by being transparent with us and telling us what’s up. I appreciate that. I just want firefight lol
Sheikh S.
Games should be released with all major content. That is a fact and there really isn't any good excuse otherwise. Covid or not.
@@gamersinger5118 you don’t get to decide what’s important or not, game development is not an easy task, takes a lot more skill then to just sit back infront of a screen and with controller all day. I am a programmer myself and I can attest to the idea how hard it has been to do collaborative work during this pandemic. And as much as I would like to make a robust well optimized system/product, there are a lot unfortunate hurdles.
@@bonsuer1
I am not deciding anything.
My experience with Halo community has always been like this, very hard to please, and this is not a new thing, it's been like this since the initiation of Halo.
bruh 6 mhonts after launch i think the new forge will allow us to make halo 1 2 3 or even fanmade games in forge oh and custom gamemodes
Forge still dropping before donda
Unfortunately wasn't true
Let’s get 343 to add Crossplay for Campaign and Spartan Ops for MCC while they work on it for Infinite!!!!!!!!
they havent even added a fileshare system for pc players yet, so that will never happen
They should push it back 3 months. I can’t imagine doing campaign alone :(
Yes you can, coop is distracting, I'd rather experience the campaign alone first and full focus
A bit upsetting that Forge and Co-op campaign won't be at launch, but I can deal with them. My hyped is not any less than it was before this video. Bring on Infinite!
It aint that bad change my mind
I'm not wanting to play sweaty MP so I play customs and coop with friends.
I have zero reasons to play Infinite and same goes for a good chunk of players.
They had a loooot of time to develop the game, there definitely was a big problem in planification.
Exactly, i do wish forge was a bit more prioritized tho cuz custom games are nice from time to time but it isn’t as bad as alot of people are making it out to be

They really are!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Co-op really made bonding with my brother so much easier over Halo over the years. It is going to suck for a little while but we'll get there.
All im saying is how bad must the game have been last year if they are still delaying stuff to a year and a half after the intended launch 😳😳😳
No duh but you'll get your wish and the game will be delayed for the 50th time.
There is an upside to this though. They won't be releasing Forge yeah, it hurts a lot but they could make it 30x better than all forges combined. It could be like arcade editor from Far Cry 5, terrain editor, water levels, sky box, time of day etc.
They need to delay this game by 3 months.
No they don't
Too many people are trying to cope... This is just bad. They had plenty of time to develop this game, and they can’t even have Halo staples there at launch. Huge disappointment
Honestly, hearing the co-op delay, makes me wish the game would be pushed back.
Why on Earth would they do that for something most people don't care about?
I'm fine to wait for content that ends up in a better state when it does drop. No delay for actual game and MP for Xmas so happy about that, always fun playing Halo over the holidays. Excited for more previews!
No coop is more damaging for me
Despite the bumps on the road, we will still remain strong.
I definitely know I'm gonna try to find every way to send a warthog flying and flipping 500 times in the campaign until co-op comes
