I don't understand how some people don't realize that saying someone is too skinny, is just as bad as saying someone is too fat. It is just so rude to say someone is either too fat or skinny.
People used to make off comments anytime I would eat meat stating how I was so skinny and that I probably only ate lettuce all day. People still do. But I'm ok with it now, I've learned to love myself even if I'm underweight by a few pounds. We aren't measured by our mass, rather our hearts. ❤️❤️❤️

The first time someone called me fat was when I was just 8 years old, that was 11 years ago. I struggled with my wheight alot due to illnesses, but that isn't my biggest insecurity. Now it is my lose skin after I lost alot of wheight that is my making me uncomftable to show of my beautiful body. My biggest support is my husband, telling me I'm beautiful everyday.

I know exactly how body shaming can be, in Jr. High a guy once asked me if I needed the school to widen the doors for me, I wasn't even overweight or obese, just a tiny bit chubby and even though I've lost like 30 lbs since then, it's still a comment that I struggle with. Body shaming is not okay. Sticks and stones may break your bones but words leave psychological wounds that may never heal.
Why is there even such thing as body shaming? What is the definition of "a perfect body"? The thing is, there should be no definition. Once you think of it, somebody just randomly decided this thing called "perfect", which actually makes no sense, and now someone came up with "a perfect body." This was just created to make people either feel really good about themselves because they fit to these standards, or to make people feel really bad about themselves just because they don't fit this definition. This was just born from a star and if this had never been invented, every body would be defined as "perfect." This is what I believe in. There are no separate types of bodies. We should all be proud of our shape. There is this quote: A real women (crosses out: has curves, is skinny, has muscles) - IS WHATEVER THE HELL SHE WANTS TO BE.

I have been bullied for my whole life. When I was "too skinny", I wanted to gain weight, and when I did, I was too fat. I listened for mean people for too long but one day when one boy said a bad thing about my freckles I understood that those things that people said weren't even true and now I'm much more confident about my body or about my self in general.

Some guy tried to make fun of me for not shaving my armpits and legs. The thing is that my leg and armpit hair grow SUPER fast and so after a couple days I can see the hair. I am pale and my hair is dark brown so it’s not hard to see. Well he told me that I need to shave more because he said that he thought that hair was gross. I replied saying something like, ‘why do I have to shave my armpits and legs when you don’t?’. I don’t feel like shaving every single day and I usually don’t have time to shave every day. Another time my sister told me that I shouldn’t wear a crop top because my stomach is “too big”. My siblings were literally shaming my body. To be completely honest I’m not confident with my body but it still annoys my when people say these things about me and other women or men.
in middle school someone told me i was so fat i looked pre go. That was in middle school. Since then I have worked out, I'm a lifeguard, and i lost a lot of weight. I was so self-conscious. That was when i was in 6th grade and all the way to 8th. Im now going into my senior confident with my body, style, and over all I'm confident being me.

I'm not usually one to go into my childhood backstory, but in this case I'm gonna make an exception. I was extremely skinny until I was five because I was sick and rarely ate. By the time I was six, I had a normal body and no longer looked anorexic. I never had problems looking like that until I was about eleven. My mom and I were looking at shoes (not clothes) in a store at our mall and apparently one of the employees thought we didn't belong there because weren't a size two. My mom called the company to report what had happened and we didn't even get a sincere apology. What we did get though was the last laugh. That store is now out of business.

The first time someone called me fat was when I was just 8 years old, that was 11 years ago. I struggled with my wheight alot due to illnesses, but that isn't my biggest insecurity. Now it is my lose skin after I lost alot of wheight that is my making me uncomftable to show of my beautiful body. My biggest support is my husband, telling me I'm beautiful everyday.
I stay getting body shame cause I am skinny but I don't care. God made ne the way I am and I love it and I tell people the same if you're big you're big if your small you're small. Eat what you love and embrace yourself someone is ALWAYS going to say something no matter what

I think everyone is beautiful, and if they are not medically unhealthy or at risk of being ill due to their weight, then they are fine just the way they are. I know exactly how body shaming can be, in Jr. High a guy once asked me if I needed the school to widen the doors for me, I wasn't even overweight or obese, just a tiny bit chubby and even though I've lost like 30 lbs since then, it's still a comment that I struggle with. Body shaming is not okay. Sticks and stones may break your bones but words leave psychological wounds that may never heal.

Why is there even such thing as body shaming? What is the definition of "a perfect body"? The thing is, there should be no definition. Once you think of it, somebody just randomly decided this thing called "perfect", which actually makes no sense, and now someone came up with "a perfect body." This was just created to make people either feel really good about themselves because they fit to these standards, or to make people feel really bad about themselves just because they don't fit this definition. This was just born from a star and if this had never been invented, every body would be defined as "perfect." This is what I believe in. There are no separate types of bodies. We should all be proud of our shape. There is this quote: A real women (crosses out: has curves, is skinny, has muscles) - IS WHATEVER THE HELL SHE WANTS TO BE.

I have been bullied for my whole life. When I was "too skinny", I wanted to gain weight, and when I did, I was too fat. I listened for mean people for too long but one day when one boy said a bad thing about my freckles I understood that those things that people said weren't even true and now I'm much more confident about my body or about my self in general.

I've been bodyshamed my entire life. In school, I was too tall, so I was bullied. When everyone else grew up, I was then too fat and got bullied. My weight has fluctuated throughout the years due to medical problems, depression, and genetics, and it's even developed into an eating disorder. I'm in my twenties now and trying to accept myself, but my parents have jumped on this bodyshaming bandwagon. It's gotten to the point that I can't even eat in front of them, cook in front of anyone, or think about eating without defending it. I'm so glad to see that people are taking stands against bodyshamers.I just wish it wasn't too late for me.

Some guy tried to make fun of me for not shaving my armpits and legs. The thing is that my leg and armpit hair grow SUPER fast and so after a couple days I can see the hair. I am pale and my hair is dark brown so it’s not hard to see. Well he told me that I need to shave more because he said that he thought that hair was gross. I replied saying something like, ‘why do I have to shave my armpits and legs when you don’t?’. I don’t feel like shaving every single day and I usually don’t have time to shave every day. Another time my sister told me that I shouldn’t wear a crop top because my stomach is “too big”. My siblings were literally shaming my body. To be completely honest I’m not confident with my body but it still annoys my when people say these things about me and other women or men.

in middle school someone told me i was so fat i looked pre go. That was in middle school. Since then I have worked out, I'm a lifeguard, and i lost a lot of weight. I was so self-conscious. That was when i was in 6th grade and all the way to 8th. Im now going into my senior confident with my body, style, and over all I'm confident being me.

Have you tried seeking help for your issues? You seem very delusional and somehow seem to believe your harassing and body shaming comments are so important you have to shriek them. Does that make you feel better? Does it make you feel like you matter? You are decreasing your own significance by acting like this, it makes you look ridiculous and ignorant. I'm not usually one to go into my childhood backstory, but in this case I'm gonna make an exception. I was extremely skinny until I was five because I was sick and rarely ate. By the time I was six, I had a normal body and no longer looked anorexic. I never had problems looking like that until I was about eleven. My mom and I were looking at shoes (not clothes) in a store at our mall and apparently one of the employees thought we didn't belong there because weren't a size two. My mom called the company to report what had happened and we didn't even get a sincere apology. What we did get though was the last laugh. That store is now out of business.
