Missed some of your videos lately since I arrived back in Saudi Arabia, maybe its because of the fact that Liquor is banned in this Country, but all of a sudden this video have shown up in my recommended TH-cam videos, you guys have the most impressive camaraderie I have ever seen very respectful of each other after all of these years reviewing Scotch Whiskeys and such, anyways nice catching your videos again, I may not have any liquor out here for a considerable amount of time, but just being able to watch your videos will be enough for me to prepare myself till I get back to my homeland again, thanks for sharing this video ✌
Thanks for the kinds words, Oscar! It has been a while since we've done a review so maybe that's why? Here's to a nice dram when you're back home - hope all is well and stay safe! Cheers!
I'm with you guys on the direction of American Single Malt. Trending upward. I am also a big fan of Westland's Garryana, Colere, Single Casks, and Core Range offerings. To me they come across as young, but they are good. I'm happy to see that my opinion matches yours. Cheers.
Great to be able to watch again your single bottle review! I really like more this format over the 1hr reviews/streams. Really interested on what American Single Malt producers can do. Can't wait for the next one.
Daaaang! Solid review and the audio/video, turned up to 11!!! So darn excited for more reviews as well as the American Single Malt series, just outstanding! Picked up a Peated ASM just this week, Boulder Spirits. Just a little less than the Westland, $125 less😂 (it was 1/2 price, what a bargain). Need to make room in the cabinet. My heart and palate is still in Scotland, but exploring is the spice of life. Cheers to a great review!🥃
I'm a big fan of American single malts so really glad to hear you're going to do more of them. I didn't think Garryana ed. 6 was worth the price, even though I got it for $139. Look forward to hearing what you think of Westland's other selections, and Westward's offerings (sipping on one of those right now). If you can get hold of it you should try Amalga out of Juneau, Alaska. Then there's Stranahan's setting the bar for everyone. Thanks for diving in.
Don't know about the whiskey, curious to try it though, or any american single malt really. BUT, I think your new setup - especially for audio - is a gold standard for any (whisky)creator. I guess one might say the microfones are a bit distracting, but the audio quality is well worth it. Sounds great and it's a joy to listen to! Well done and keep it up!!
Have tried some earlier samples and while it is different I don't see me justifying 160€ for it. Granted the oak is special but the bottle is 60% sherry. Great to try but competing with some good old bottles price wise here in EU.
150$ wow, wow . crazy right here at home, wow priced , how old is that thing? maybe 3 years old, producers want to take advantage of anything, I would love to support my american single malt but , wow, wow, no way I can support and try this whisky , sorry. I will stay with my scotch wait better quality and priced.

Audio / video absolutely spot-on this week, hats off to the tech guy!

Awesome video starting of the American single malt. I’ve tried the Westland sherry oak and really enjoyed it. Cheers all.
Oh Yeah! one of my favorites. Sounds like a "Bunker Bottle" for sure.
The old sherry wood bottle was the best of theirs I have had.
Stranahans has many great offerings
That's some serious High Def! I hope thats the same camera for the Livestream Great review.
Stranahan’s, the whole line up.
I second that.great distillery and great tour
I’d bet that clove note coming in from their Saison yeast strain selection.
$150..yikes. That's my issue with many Scotches and Single Malt American. The price.
Scotch 4 Dummies, dummies being those who spend outrageous amounts of money for a bottle when they can’t afford it, or objectionably not worth it 😆

i just grabbed a bottle for $100!

Unsubbed. My sub is going to FirstPhilWhisky and GWhisky. You guys are like watching the human centipede sewn onto Rainman 😂
