I added a Tablespoon of Cinnamon/sugar into the pecan brown sugar left for the top layer. I then drizzled 1 tablespoon over that. The smell was Heaven and the butter was just right. Gave some to my neighbor and he was a chef at one time. Loved it.👏👍🏻🙋
Just a little tip from one Baker to another. If you put in 2 tablespoons of cornstarch into your cake mix and your cake mix cookies they will stay super soft if people don’t eat the whole thing in one day

I made the first one exactly as you demonstrated it. I added the two tablespoons of corn starch as another baker mentioned in the comments section. It was incredible! My guests were so happy and they took the rest home, which I encouraged, because I needed to make another one without nuts. The one without the nuts, (coffee cake #2), I added some cinnamon to the crumble, which my family really liked.😊 Thank you for such a delicious and easy dessert recipe! Now, I'm looking to find one with a fruit filling and some drizzled icing. I'm sure you have it in your recipe video catalog. Everyone have a great weekend!

I made this three days ago and it's absolutely delicious. Using the cake mix makes it so easy. I used the same ingredients you did and I also added cinnamon and raisins. Use raisins only in the filling not for the topping as my raisins on the top burned they looked like black beans.. I'm making another today because my Mom loved the first one and everyone else did too. Thanks

Making this as I watched waiting for it to bake right now. Took about 30 minutes to bake--- 3000 ft elevation. It turned out soooo good, light and fluffy. Only added some cinnamon in crumble.😀😉 that was so easy too. Coffee and cake here I come!

Wow, that coffee cake looks amazing! I can't believe that it came from a box mix! I like how the crumble is both in the center and on top, resulting in two types of textures. I always crack my eggs off to the side as well. Thanks for a great recipe!

I would take out the nuts and put in cinnamon. I have never heard of using nuts in a coffee cake. But it's a good idea also
