Every time I watch one of these Pixel 4a reviews I fall in love more and more with this phone and this awesome review sealed that feeling. This will definitely be the phone that's gonna replace my Lg G4. Thanks for this great review!!!

This is the first video of yours I watched. I am genuinely impressed and that's saying something, because I just went through 10 Pixel 4a reviews. This is by far my favorite. From the editing, vocal delivery, to the music choice; everything is super solid.
I would totally buy this primarily because of the 5.8" screen size which is a lot better than the 6.5" screen size we are being forced to consider. I always like phones to be a bit compact in size.
That photo montage starting from 2:50 is incredible. I've never seen any reviewer do that, and especially not with this amount of variety. Didn't even know I needed this before, but now I'm gonna compare every reviewer to this standard. 🔥🔥
This is one of the best and more honest reviews I have seen here. Thank you for not dissing the Pixel 4a by coming out with ludicrous statements like it doesn't have wireless charging or the build feels cheap or some other stupid lame excuse. The phone is designed to be simple and minimalistic for the price range and I think compared to all the other reviewers out there, yours is one of the best I have seen. Great work!
I just watched you for the first time and I have to give you a compliment. This video is clear and well explained, your voice is nice to listen to, and you covered all the important parts of the phone. Keep this going man, high quality stuff :)
you touch on an statement that I have caught myself stating about you tubers, and that’s, you guys always have access to the latest and the greatest and so you compare to everything to latest and the greatest and sometimes that one device gets lost in the shuffle. Luckily, the 4a may not be a high performer but where it excels are the areas that matter and that’s being a solid experience. Great video
First of all, excellent video my dude! The B roll is amazing, and the music a perfect match! 👌🏼 When you say the pixel 4a isn’t special, I’d actually disagree. In a world where phones are always more more more, I’d say this phone is special because it delivers just the basics, and very well! I have already preordered mine and am waiting impatiently!
Thanks for watching!! When I say “isn’t special” I don’t mean that the phone isn’t important - it’s moreso that it doesn’t have some huge gimmick or feature that draws headlines. As you said, definitely what makes it special is the fact it focuses on the essentials.
I pick mine up on Sept 18th from Best Buy...unlocked. Total of 17 days wait! Even Google couldn't beat that (about a month). My first smartphone...I didn't really want one but they are unplugging the support for my 10 year old flip phone. Paid $200 per year for minutes and recharged every 7 to 14 days. I loved my flip phone...
Dan O'Connell. This is my first smart phone too. My old plain vanilla flip phone, also about 10 years old no longer would work on my network (Verizon), LOL. I also had amazing stand by on that phone.with little recharging required. Have to move into the 21st Century, COVID era I guess. This video sold me on this phone, which I had already been considering. I had to order mine from Google and it is supposed to arrive on 9/10. I hope we both enjoy out new smart phones! Seems like good bang for the buck!
@@janerosen5048 Well...we get at least three years of support/updates. NOW I wonder how long before they abandon 4G LOL:). proudly made in Toronto. Good one. Too bad guys from unbox therapy, android authority and few others can't make the same disclosure. This review matches the phone, minimalist and to the point. No BS.
Bluetooth vs wired isn't about price necessarily. It's about sound quality and interoperability. Wired headphones sound better and can be used with anything else except these "premium" phones that don't have headphone jacks. There numerous wired headphones that sound considerably better than the best bluetooth headphones. Did I mention you can use them with other electronics and music production hardware?
othniel ussher Might be the best value phone of the year. You could get this and the Google Pixel Buds 2 (Wich are great wireless headphones, watch MKBHD’s review) for less than the IPhone 11 and the Note 20 (And the regular Note 20 is pretty bad)
About two months ago I ordered a Samsung A71. Liked the specs and the price. Loved the phone when I got it. But the intrusive Samsung UI software that can't be turned off is a major annoyance and it cannot be uninstalled or turned off. When you turn all that stuff off in settings/apps, after about an hour, internal software turns all of it back on. You have to set up a Samsung account for some of the apps that might be useful, so now you have a google account and a Samsung account. The mothering and shepherding that Samsung does via software is a major intrusion for me so I have went back to my old Moto G7 and have ordered the Pixel 4a. I am really looking forward to a Pure Android experience again! Good review and thanks for no jarring music or major visual effects!
The way you make these videos is so convincing. Often when you watch budget phone videos it looks like the video itself is budget, and the phone appears cheaper and less appealing to the viewer as a result. Since you presented this phone in the same way you do $1,000 phones, it looks much better and shows it’s true potential. Also the photos you included were amazing!
I'm loving my 4a. I had an Essential PH-1 which was a great phone other than the camera. So I wanted a good camera but did not want to spend a lot of money. Especially with phones only lasting 2 to 3 years. I figure spending $500 every few years on a phone makes way more sense. Great review and I totally agree with the whole video.
Great video. I do feel it's interesting that you say that the phone ISN'T special, unique, or standout bc of how simple it is but I feel the fact that it is simple and streamlined and focused on the experience IS what makes it special. Regardless, a great demo and I can't wait to get mine! Should be coming this week!!!
Nicely presented review. Really looking forward to this phone, the Biggest selling point to me is that it is pretty compact. Probably the best option out there for an android phone you can use one handed. Great camera, decent performance and battery life, pure android, headphone socket, decent price. Yes the first time I have seen a phone that does everything right for a few years

Excellent review. 🤘 Thanks! I've been looking at the Pixel 4a for my next phone for a month now. One word that many people use to describe me IS "minimalist" so that was a perfect title for the video. 😊 I currently have a Moto G7 Power and while the battery on it is phenomenal the physical size, screen, and camera are the the things I want in the Pixel 4a that the Moto G7 Power doesn't have; in other words its camera is mediocre at best, the screen is a non-HD LCD and it is a behemoth! So reviews like this have just helped bring home the fact I'm about to make the right choice!

You have overall aesthetic figured out more than any other tech TH-camr. All the videos are so stylish from the fonts to the sets/settings/decor to the music. Just like Pixel nails overall experience, so does Canoopsy
5 years ago i bought a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact for the same reasons that this Pixel 4a offers. Small, compact, everything you need, nothing that you dont. Simple. And wont break the bank. Perfect. Even though my Z5 still works as reliably as on day one today still, it hasnt got any updates since 2016. Time to upgrade, and the Pixel 4a will be it. Hopefully it will work as reliable for the next 5 years as the Sony did.
I was hesitant to view this review but gave it a shot and was surprised at the quality of the review, very real world take on the device, great job. Will be following your work all the best
Great overall review of such a well-rounded device, Canoopsy! I can't get over the minimal feel of your videos; from your set, thumbnail, and even down to the soundtrack. But also, that Circles vinyl! 🙌🏻
Love your reviews. Calm yet captivating and indept. Plus, free of the usual ambiguities you get from most reviewers. And that wallpaper is cool. Can I get a link for it?
You can actually take ultrawide photos with the pixel 4a using photosphere, it requires quite a bit of patience and I recommend doing this in landscape mode, not portrait. Taking ultrawide indoor shots might be an issue for the Pixel 4a, definitely not outside.

Google Pixel 4a is perfect. Design: Simple and Classy. Perfect size suitable for single-hand use. Minimal bazel and hole-punch camera in front. Premium polycarbonate finish at the back with smudge-free body. Display: 4K OLED with highest pixel density. True colours, sharp, bright and always on display. Performance: 730G is enough for lag-free gaming experience (doesn't support extreme graphics). Software optimization by Google gives you a smooth experience. Security by Titan M module is a plus point. Camera: Best picture processing software till date. Best dynamic range till date (HDR+). Video quality is also good thanks to OIS + EIS. While no phone in this price range offers Astro photography, Google's Astro Photography is better than $1400 phones. Best Night mode shots without saturation. (I know it's a phone and not a DSLR. But having a phone with great camera is handy.) Battery: Not the biggest battery for sure but still lasts full-day. Thanks to Google's Battery-use optimization. (Check Battery-drain tests) Special Feature: The best AI (Google Assistant, Now Playing, Live Caption, Spam Screening, Crash Detection), Best Operating System (Clean, Bloat-free) with fastest updates, headphone jack, stereo speakers. And the best feature, without a doubt, is it's price ! At this price, it clearly beats One Plus Nord, Samsung A71 and Apple iPhone SE !
@@Nitin-rj6xv Google Pixel 4a will be arriving in India by 1st week of October (just like Europe). And as per the speculations, it will be much cheaper than Nord's starting price !
Good camera, Good battery, single hole puch AMOLED screen, durable plastic build, stock android, headphone jack, stereo speakers, 350USD? Is it a dream or what cause I don't believe it. It's too good to be true. Please google release it fast here in India. I'm head over heels on this one

Great job in the video and presentation. Without all the bullshit, noise etc. very nice, keep up the good work. BTW, I’ll pre order the Pixel 4a which I will use as my work phone and keep my iPhone SE 2020 as personal device. Also for me the days of flagships are gone. I think it's time to upgrade from my old but loyal iPhone 7 to this awesome google pixel. the photos are just wow and the design is quite simple, love it!
You have overall aesthetic figured out more than any other tech TH-camr. All the videos are so stylish from the fonts to the sets/settings/decor to the music. Just like Pixel nails overall experience, so does Canoopsy
This is actually the best, in-depth review I’ve come across. I’m highly impressed!
Canoopsy's thumbnails are on a completely different level. So aesthetic, and the video vibes are so chill
Underrated video , you deserve more views more comments and even more subscribers
Very nice review style.
I have the pixel 3 small flagship. The Google experience getting better and better and delightfully uncomplicated .
Love your reviews. Calm yet captivating and indept. Plus, free of the usual ambiguities you get from most reviewers. And that wallpaper is cool. Can I get a link for it?
You get an 'a' 4 the presentation , also loved the photos you've shoot for this review
You can actually take ultrawide photos with the pixel 4a using photosphere, it requires quite a bit of patience and I recommend doing this in landscape mode, not portrait. Taking ultrawide indoor shots might be an issue for the Pixel 4a, definitely not outside.

This video is perfect. You're concise as well as elegant with your words; plus your b-roll just makes me happy!
Very clean video.... I loved the production quality.. Way to go 👍🏻
Man, the diaporama with all your (astonishing) pictures and the lo-fi vibes just made my day 💓
Google Pixel 4a is perfect.
But having a phone with great camera is handy.)
Battery: Not the biggest battery for sure but still lasts full-day. Thanks to Google's Battery-use optimization. (Check Battery-drain tests)
Special Feature: The best AI (Google Assistant, Now Playing, Live Caption, Spam Screening, Crash Detection), Best Operating System (Clean, Bloat-free) with fastest updates, headphone jack, stereo speakers. And the best feature, without a doubt, is it's price !
At this price, it clearly beats One Plus Nord, Samsung A71 and Apple iPhone SE !
but how to buy this phone to india
@@Nitin-rj6xv Google Pixel 4a will be arriving in India by 1st week of October (just like Europe). And as per the speculations, it will be much cheaper than Nord's starting price !
I never thought I would say this but your video quality is even better than MKBHD's..
I can admire those B- rolls for the whole day!
I just bought this phone. I have a note 10 plus but this phone is amazing...and great pure Android software....and amazing camera software.
Good camera, Good battery, single hole puch AMOLED screen, durable plastic build, stock android, headphone jack, stereo speakers, 350USD? Is it a dream or what cause I don't believe it. It's too good to be true. Please google release it fast here in India. I'm head over heels on this one
Your review is like the phone itself. Clear, simple and to the point.
Thank you. I was exploring this phone as my next choice. I felt somewhat in flux about the info I saw on other channels until I came upon yours.
Your candour and ease re-energised my thoughts again. I am going minimalist and what better device to have than the Pixel.
Thanks again.
This is first time i saw you're video
It's..........
Killing editing like pro...
Of course your pro 😅
I love the size of google pixel. Phone nowadays really big. Pixel 4a is just nice. Not too big not too small. Perfect
Great video! Loved that you stopped to appreciate the smaller nice-to-have features, and the subjective user experience. Beautiful B-roll too.
Canadian dollars in video? Good speaking voice? Great review pacing? Perfect and helpful review.
Something wrong with TH-cam algorithm. Canoopsy's videos should've million views at least! Have always loved your videos!
This man deserves a lot more subscribers and viewers. I stumbled across this channel a couple of weeks ago. Loving the content so far
pixel 4a - camera king - th-cam.com/video/s0VrwYkj9oY/w-d-xo.html
I ordered mine from best buy. They have an activation special plus I will trade in my Pixel 1. Without tax my cost is $274, not bad. I will get it on the 20th.
I'm still amazed by the fact you aren't at 500k or even 1M subscribers with this good of video production for this small of a channel.
Definitely the best pixel 4a review I've seen yet.. and I've watched a lot of them! I want this phone lol
Wow, thank you Jordan!
I can see ur vid hitting 1mill in da future juss be consistent dats all u need rn...cuz u got da quality on lock
YOUR REVIEW IS EXCELLENT , WELL SPOKEN !!! YOUR A PROFESSIONAL SPEAKER !!!
Nice Videos Canoopsy , A tech package is coming you way
Hey fellow Torontonian here. Agree on this one. For the past few years companies are head over heels on whether they could and don't bother to stop to think whether they should.
Big facts. See you around the city!
Great job in the video and presentation. Without all the bullshit, noise etc. very nice, keep up the good work. BTW, I’ll pre order the Pixel 4a which I will use as my work phone and keep my iPhone SE 2020 as personal device. Also for me the days of flagships are gone. And I had them all even the latest iPhone 11 Pro Max. But it doesn’t so much more value to justify the money spent.
This is literally an oddly satisfying review. Love it!❤️
I don't know if it's just me but it's kinda fell like a therapy session when watching his videos.
