While do share your sentiments that it’s refreshing to see a dark skinned desi women on tv. You do realise desis can have a naturally light skin tone , right?? It’s not all down to fair and lovely or bleaching.
She's amazing! Deserves all the love we as fans can give. She's beautiful, funny, talented and so down to earth it's unreal. Her husband is a very lucky guy...... although looking at her husband she's a very lucky lady too 😉 May the success continue for a long time yet ❤
When I had four wisdom teeth taken out under general anaesthetic (about forty years ago) my head looked like a pumpkin, it was that swollen, and I could hardly open my mouth, let alone talk! She looks completely normal!
When I got my wisdom teeth pulled out, they knocked me out. We lived about 100 feet from the medical centre and my mom actually had to bring the car over to drive me after or else I could not have walked the distance. The pain was excruciating for a whole month. Horrible.
I got my wisdom teeth removed when I was 18. Got a local anaesthesia, heard two cracks, thought they‘re going to start and it was all over already. Took homoepathic arnica remedies beforehand and shortly after. Didn’t have a bruise or pain, ate breakfast two hours later 🤟#thisishowitsdone
How can Muslim women with hijab go into an operating theatre? We all need to strip down to the hospital gown, so do they need to take off that thing, too, or not? Serious question.
If it's a sterile surgery, there's a surgical cap that all patients need to wear. Including bald patients. So that's an acceptable head covering. Also, medical procedures have special accomodations in Islamic teachings i.e. if no woman doctor, a male doctor may examine an unmarried woman (with a female chaperone) in a closed room and some other stuff. However, dental surgeries like wisdom tooth removal are not aseptic as the mouth is considered dirty, so she would not have to strip down to just a surgical gown. So she can wear a small cap similar to a skull cap that just covers her hair, leaving her neck and ears open.
Rather certain that Kate Winslet is a big name, so is Sir Lenny Henry. Define "big name", other than Miriam Margolyes...who is also one of the same old faces often on TGNS.
@@MadcapShambleton exactly - this is both Kate and Nadiya's fifth time on the show, so what differentiates one from the other in terms of being the "same old faces"? hmm I wonder...

I don’t think you need to strip for a wisdom tooth surgery lol. But if they had to for health reasons they would

Hey, Sherlock, patients, doctors, nurses wear surgical cap during surgeries.
Yes of course we do. We’re given bouffant caps. As a physician, I take off my hijab during sterile procedures and wear a surgical cap.

The default for this show, when they can't get any big names in, is to go with the same old faces.
