A Tale of Fluoride in the Water: Benefits and Concerns
    A Historical Sip:
Water fluoridation began in the early 1900s with observations that communities with naturally occurring fluoride had lower cavity rates. By the 1950s, controlled addition of fluoride to public water supplies became widespread. It reflected the era's optimism in science and public health interventions. However, public concerns arose alongside its implementation.
    Arguments for Fluoridation:
Cavity Crusher: Numerous studies have shown that fluoridated water significantly reduces cavities in children, especially when other fluoride sources are limited.
Public Health Hero: Proponents highlight the public health benefit of fluoridation, reaching everyone regardless of income or access to dental care.
Cost-Effective Champion: Compared to individual dental treatments, fluoridation is seen as a cost-effective way to improve oral health across a population.
    Arguments Against Fluoridation:
Safety Concerns: Opponents raise concerns about potential health risks from long-term ingestion of fluoride, although most major health organizations haven't found conclusive evidence of harm at recommended levels.
Individual Choice Argument: Some argue that fluoridation infringes on individual choice, as people cannot opt out if their water is fluoridated.
Alternative Sources: With the increased use of fluoridated toothpaste and other products, some believe water fluoridation may no longer be necessary.
    The Debate Continues:
The debate over water fluoridation remains a complex issue with strong opinions on both sides. It's important to consider the scientific evidence, public health benefits, and individual concerns when forming an opinion on this ongoing conversation.
Here are some ways to ask about alternatives to fluoride:
Beyond Fluoride: Are there effective methods for strengthening teeth and preventing cavities that don't involve fluoride?
Fluoride-Free Options: What can people who prefer not to use fluoride do to maintain good oral health?
Natural Alternatives to Fluoride: Are there natural ingredients that offer similar benefits to fluoride for teeth?
Building Strong Teeth Without Fluoride: How can I promote healthy tooth development in my child without using fluoride toothpaste?
Oral Care Routine Without Fluoride: Can you suggest a dentist-approved oral care routine that doesn't include fluoride?
Alternatives for Public Water: If a community chooses not to fluoridate its water, what other strategies can be used to improve public oral health?

Following a severe decline in dental health, after years of diligent conventional care, your advice stopped the downward spiral - even reversed some of the damage. Thankyou!

I just went to a holistic dentist for the first time and now I’m doing research on fluoride. As a Michigander, I’m sad to learn Grand Rapids, MI was the first city to fluoridate 😢

See the latest studies from the UK that show no benefit from adding fluoride to the water supply

Wow, I didn't know half of what you share here. I think I'm going to start filtering my water.

If you live in an area why they have fluoride in the water make sure your filter removes fluoride, otherwise a simple filter to remove chlorine and other impurities should be sufficient

Fluoride was used in the water in concentration camps to make the prisoners more docile and that's why it's in all the water today. It's neurotoxic and builds up in the brain over time. Same thing with vaccccines causing a huge spike in neurological disorders. There is poison in almost everything that's the truth

What do you recommend for healing from fluorosis and reversing the damage?

    • @EvolveDentalHealing
      @EvolveDentalHealing  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

It is not possible as it damages the actual structure of the enamel as it develops

Great video! I would love to hear your thoughts on a lecture I just watched about water Fluoridation. It sounded like pure propaganda.
Even if it does help a small amount he was making it seem like a miracle cure.
He also called Fluoride an essential nutrient and said nothing about any negative effects. Oh wait! He did talk about dental fluoridation. I think he said it happens in areas with hardly any fluoride. He also said he has only seen a very mild case in 2 children out of many thousands. He just doesn't see it.
I think dental Fluorosis in American kids is something like 30 or 40%

If fluoride is so good then why is tooth decay still a huge issue?

Is the toxic fluoride in the water and toothpaste the same as the homeopathic remedy recommended for teeth called “calc fluor”?

    • @EvolveDentalHealing

No the stuff in the water is sodium fluoride.
