Might sound weird but i am allergic to corn products. I make mine with milk, sugar, agar powder(vegan gelatine) and a bit of rose water. I top mine with coconut shreds and i make a topping with orange juice instead of milk...so it is white and orange on top and coconut...very tasty

That half teaspoon of rose water is something that takes this milk pudding to the next level.you can also add orange blossom water which can give the same effect.or you can use vanilla essence which can give a fine but little different effect.
We need to use full fat milk.Water in milk will reduce the creamy taste.you can add some cream to milk if you want to.All the best for making wonderful muhallabia 🙂
