Axel as an officer in Night City would absolutely fit him like a glove. He would be the most feared cop in Night City because of his methods and wittiness

@@d.n5287 Yep and River is too much of Goody Cop to see his own bullshit or sniff his own butt. Axel, knows how to play dirty and bend the rules like any sus cop in Night City. He not only do it for the good of the people in terms of justice but he'd put his life on the line if he knows its right but more so in the lines of an Anti-Hero. Meaning, Axel would know when to shut up and play nice with the corpos if it benefits his cause, he'd be alot like that cop in the Street Kid Intro with Jackie (In fact, Axel is a technically a street kid so he'd know his roots). He'd accept the corporation as thats the world he lives (he knows he can still make an impact) and only focus on whats ahead of him and tackle what he tasked to do. He is ruthless but fair. He go down with a fight, he'd carry that underfunded police of NC. If he was to die, he'd die a hero. River Ward, would die as a loser and a beta male.

As a video editor on a cable news channel, I can easily say that the details this guy pays attention to in the editing process are amazing. Everything fits perfectly.
True. Only who knows how to make these can truly appreciate the effort it must have taken, because you can actually evaluate the result of each step from experience. I live and breathe compositing and I would be dying to know how he does such pristine edge tracing. Color grading used to be an artform, now it's just a single click option and AI does the rest.
@@dominic.h.3363 That kind of technology has evolved, exactly. Edge tracing does look phenomenal. There are many youtubers trying to make videos like this one, but not everyone invest time and quality that we see here.
The only thing I could nit pick is the differences in saturations, but hell I still wouldn't be able to do half the stuff I seen here.
@@slipper1889 You can't oversaturate VHS quality footage because it will look like crap. The more saturation you slap onto it, the more evident it becomes how crappy the dynamic range is.

The main character of Watch Dogs 2 comes to mind. He's young, witty, funny little goofy, a big dork but charismatic and is a good friend. Not as much of a smart-ass but he has a moments.

Editing alone is insane but I am also amazed by your dedication to re-watch all these movies/go throught the game to look for scenes that will match exactly what you have in mind. Like that Victor dialogue.
iirc that line was in the first movie right before he wrecked the buffet.
The way you manage to match the lighting/brightness/contrast/etc to each scene is absolutely superb, some of the shots look like the real thing. As a constructive criticism, the only one that mismatched was at 0:32 - 0:34 where the color/tone was cold and blueish on Eddie and warm and reddish in the game. Anyway, that's just a minor thing, absolutely brilliant work!

Knowing you got this result from second use materials, I can't imagine what you could do with raw original material. The third film was a cash-grab garbage sequel.
The third is pretty bad because it didn't have that balance of action, comedy and drama that the first two had. But it did still have its funny moments.
In the atmosphere of Night City he almost looks normal 😁
