    Thanks Jacob, when practicing this, I tend to get into trouble when I chase like you demonstrated here. I find that the $1000 bankroll is not enough at the $100 DP starting level if you start getting hit with come out losers and points hit early in your session. It’s okay if you win early and have the extra buffer like you did here, but if you get hit early you can get into trouble. Having said that I am a huge believer in this strategy and the solutions are some other things you have talked about, such as: having three bankrolls; pressing your box numbers; scaling down to a lower unit level; or just fighting the 7 without placing bets on the box numbers. I think the 6-7-8 is by far the best strategy I have seen and the subtle variations available make it very flexible. Cheers. Rob

    I play like this and a hot shooter can really make you apologize. Making point after point, pass after pass. Come out roll series like 7, 7 , 11 , 7 in a row happen all too often.

    This is good. 6,7,8 are the numbers with the most combinations. Why not just bet the five, six, eight then cover with the field bet which also gives coverage for horn numbers?

    Other than the obvious "its more $$ on the table to lose" is there a reason you don't lay odds on your don't pass bets, especially when the 4 or 10 is the point? I'm fairly new to craps, so just asking for strategy purposes.

    Great video Jacob. I have a question. What does the 12 next to the Don't Pass line mean? Do you win if a 12 gets rolled on the come out roll? Suppose the Come out roll is a 2 or a 3? What happens? Thank you.

      @briceschagane8110 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      12 is a push, no win or loss. 2 or 3 on the come out is a win.

    I'm liking this Jacob but wondering if when the point is 6 or 8 to switch to abt for at least a few rolls as a possibility.

    When your playing the DP couldn't you just pick your bet up and wait till the next shooter or I would either play a couple DC or lay the four or ten....

    I have dumb question if on point it rolls 6 or 8 or at any time after the point can you just pull the whole dont bet off wait till next roll if it's a 6 or 8 and say I play 4 hits down can I pull it all down include tge whole dont or take it to table min down

    • @adamhe67
      @adamhe67 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Pass or Don't Pass are contract bets. You can't pull them down after a point is established.

    • @adamhe67

      @@briansanson7886 no. The don't pass is the same type of bet as the pass line bet. One is betting the shooter makes the point, the other is exactly the opposite... betting the shooter rolls a 7 before hitting the point (after the come out)

      @@adamhe67 oh I new that but are you sure I've seen people have 50 doll dont and take it down after a couple hits to 15 doll pulling 35 off of it though the casinos let's you do that with the dont since it's in you'd favor

    • @adamhe67
      @adamhe67 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@briansanson7886 My bad... I don't know what I was thinking. I'm relatively new to craps. Yes, you're correct. The casino's will let you pull down your Don't Pass flat bet because the odds are in your favor at that point. So, they're fine if you reduce it or pull it completely.

    What about putting money on the hard 4&10 when 4 or 10 is the point?

    • @wagermethis
      @wagermethis  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sure, if you like that do it. I dont because it takes away from the 7 which has 6 combos to add money to just one combo

    • @PokerMonkey
      @PokerMonkey 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@wagermethis In one of your other videos you talk about eliminating the hard 4 or hard 10 when one is the point so you only have to worry about 6/4 or 3/1

      Your 678 strategy is really good. It's definitely my favorite. Here are some considerations...
      1 if the point becomes the 6 or 8 you should try only betting on the point and run a 1 point Molly. Lay max odds on your don't bet and then match it on the point.
      2 if you are going to make place bets on the 4 or 10 then maybe try taking those bets down after 3 rolls. I think this would make a great strategy even better. Give the 4 or 10 a chance for a few rolls and if they have not hit then drop the dead weight bets.
      3 maybe try moving your place bets inward as you roll. If you have $ on the 4 after 2 rolls move it to the 6 and 8. Go 2 more rolls and take the $ off the 5 or 9 and move it to the 6 and 8. Pushing the $ to the middle as you roll might be get you some huge hits on the 6 and 8!
