@ Mónica, tienes ejemplos de mediaciones ORALES de español a inglés... solo encuentro ejemplos de mediaciones escritas y las necesito para un examen que tengo próximamente. Hablar de un texto de máximo 300 palabras en español a una persona y hablar durante 3 minutos.
Mónica, soy profe de inglés en el sur de España también y al mismo tiempo estoy a punto de hacer C1 de la EOI. A pesar de que mis compañeros siempre piensan que todo se me va a dar genial porque claro, la ventaja de ser filóloga se nota, estoy dándome cuenta de que hago cosas mal porque simplemente nadie me explicó cómo se hacían, y, hasta que te he escuchado no he entendido mucho. La verdad es que el tema del tiempo lo llevo bastante mal, porque no entiendo que haya que tener 35 minutos exactos para defender un Reading o 45 para hacer una mediación de 180 palabras. Entiendo una lengua como algo que viene natural y así me gusta enseñarla. Tus videos me ayudan muchiiiísimo en un año en el que estaba un poco desmotivada ya que todo parecía estar controlado por estrategias y tiempo! 😢😢. Gracias por tus aportaciones y me gustaría que siguieras poniendo ejemplos de mediaciones y Writings nivel C1. Gracias!!!!❤❤❤

Hola Auxiliadora, muchísimas gracias por tu mensaje. entiendo cuando hablas del las trabas del tiempo a la hora de realizar los exámenes, al final parece que se nos olvida que un idioma es para disfrutarlo y no para andar con dolores de cabeza de estrategias, límite de tiempo, bloqueos, etc. Desgraciadamente el sistema es así y para conseguir una cualificación académica d e idiomas tenemos que superar esas trabas. Me alegra mucho saber que mis vídeos han conseguido motivarte , y viniendo de una profe y filóloga también, mucho más. Gracias por pasarte a comentar y por tu sugerencia de próximo video. Los ejemplos de writings y mediaciones son muy necesarios, así que tomo buena nota. Un abrazo!

I know Fernando, a second draft sounds like a lot and a bit unrealistic, but whenever you can (practicising at home) you can try this method so that when the real time comes, you are more prepared. In a real exam there will be not enough time, so you can skip this step, but if you do this at home while practising, it will help you in the long run. Ciao!

And I hope you do a great exam :-) about correcting, remember that the word”advice” in never plural in English, so instead of saying “very good pieces of advices”, you need to say “very good pieces of advice”. About the verb “suit”, is more commonly used with clothes (cuando algo te sienta bien, por ejemplo). In this context, I would say it differently, for example, Your video is just right for me or your video is just what I was looking for! Take care!

HI there! When you have an infographic with percentages, the best thing to do is to paraphrase the most relevant information. You got it right, use expressions such as "the majority of, most of...", a significant amount of..." etc. I hope it helps!

Hi Beatriz! Apart from “write and improve”, I don’t know any that does the same. There is another one called “Flo joe” that has different types of writings already done by students and the show the correction. It’s not the same but I also recommend it 🥳👍

Hi María, I personally prefer by the way, because “to be honest” is usually used for giving opinions and in mediation we should be more objective and not express out personal views. 😀

HI there! When you have an infographic with percentages, the best thing to do is to paraphrase the most relevant information. You got it right, use expressions such as "the majority of, most of...", a significant amount of..." etc. I hope it helps!

Hi Beatriz! Apart from “write and improve”, I don’t know any that does the same. There is another one called “Flo joe” that has different types of writings already done by students and the show the correction. It’s not the same but I also recommend it 🥳👍
