It would be nice if it measured and then let you know, and gave an option to put in more or take some out.
It does weigh the load to calculate the time of the wash or dry but to tell you the weight now that would be a fantastic option to have. I haven’t heard of any machine to do that though, have you?

Hi there! I know this video is a year or so old but I wanted to say a huge thank you as this video was the final confirmation I needed to purchase this model! I’m moving house and, as I currently have an integrated washing machine and a separate dryer, the small kitchen of my new house means I’ll need a two in one. Thanks for a great video as well as helping me to make up my mind with what to go for :-)
Firstly, thank you so much for the support, your comment really means a lot to me and I truly appreciate you taking the time to watch my video 🥰 As for the machine, my model is now 2 years old and is still going strong 💪 it’s a great machine and I love it as much as when I first purchased it x

Hi, What download cycle options are available for LG washer/dryer combo? Does it have Silent Wash,Sportswear(Activewear), Eco40-60,Duvet, and Turbowash download cycle options?
There are many washes available to download. Yes, there is a sportswear and duvet to download. An Eco 40-60 and turbo wash are available on the washing machine already. Hope that helps 👍
Thanks for video! 1st question- if the steaming from dryer draining into the same faucet. The 2nd what I do if I put 10 kg of laundry and then want to dry it
Firstly Thank you 🙏🏻 Yes I assume so and if doing a 10kg wash you should remove the items that won’t tumble dry after the cycle. The dryer has a 7kg capacity (you wouldn’t want to damage the machine by putting in 10kg) Also the heavier the load, the cycle will take longer to dry.
Hi I am from Bengaluru, India. I bought this machine about a month back. The quality of washing is good. However, the problem is with drying. Most of the clothes if not all develop a lot of wrinkles and some of the clothes become hard and require ironing. I also feel that the time taken for drying is too long. Is there any way to reduce wrinkles?
Are you using the right amount of detergent? Too much or too little can make clothing stiff. I haven’t experienced this though, I find that the clothes out of the dryer are good enough to fold up and most things don’t require any ironing. I do empty the washing as soon as it finishes though, if left maybe this is what causes more wrinkles.
I would suggest you to load the wash as per the drying capacity of the machine. In this case, dont load 10.5 kg, instead load 6-7kg for dry clothes direct out of the machine.
Hi, I need your advice, I want to figure out do I really need separate washer and dryer or all in one combo will get the job done ? Will combo washer make clothes as dry as regular dryer would do?
It will yes. A need for a separate unit depends on do you do a many loads of washing daily? We’re a family of 4 and I’ve now the room for a separate unit but I’d still choose to buy a washer dryer unit.
Firstly Thank you for such a supportive comment 🙏🏻 have you the room for a separate appliance? If not I’d definitely recommend the combined washer/dryer.
@tech.nicola - Hi, you are very welcome! Space - mm may be in height - I can stack dryer over washer Here in Germany, I can not see yours. I will do some more looking, but it will be for sure LG
I like it p I actually love it but this one thing you couldn't find The easy dispense one you could have got that but it's fine. I really love this washing machine
I have just bought this. The drying time on normal says two hours. My old washer dryer with a condensor only took 30 mins. Why is this so much longer. Do all washer dryers take this long to dry these days? The old one was 20 years old.
30 Mins dry time is very impressive. A smaller load will take less time compared to a full load of a towels. Previous to this machine I had a Hotpoint washer dryer and this one compared is very similar to that.
Thank you very for sharing this video. I would like to know if I were to set the machine to no spin - will the no spin be applied to all rinsing process too or it will only apply no spin at the final stage of the wash ie just before it completes the cycle?
To be completely honest I wouldn’t know as it’s not a programme I ever use. My understanding is that the spin comes at the end of the cycle so a no spin to me would mean that it skips this part out.
On the ‘Dry Only’ option you can choose between programs: iron dry, eco dry etc or can have it dry for a specific time amount ie 30mins, 1 hour, 2 hour.
Nicla . How r u . I just want to ask u. If we put like 7 shirts on machine will it make sound on trembling mode/ washing cloths especially when cloths dropped on drum during rotation.
Hi I was just wondering does the machine make a high pitched noise/ sound when on the dry function mine is brand new got it today and is making a terrible sound I’m not sure if it’s normal or if something is wrong with my machine. Its not the normal drone of a tumble dryer
You may be able to get this model for a bargain price now being an older model. The newer models I’m Sure will be as good or even better as will probably have better specs than this one. Be sure to shop around!
I just got the 22 kg version of this machine and love it! I read in the manual not to put anything plastic in it, am wondering about rubber backed non slip rugs? Does anyone know if they would be ok?
Yes I do put in sweaters and all of the kids uniform, pants and socks and I haven’t noticed anything shrink. Always check the clothes labels to see if they can be tumbled. The drying programmes can be used timed for the load but personally I put it on for a timed amount ie 30 mins or 1 hour depending how wet the clothes are. I found the programmed drys took longer than they needed to.
For both of those reasons and I liked that it was smart so I can remote start it and it also notifies me via my watch when it’s finished! I love this washer for many reasons x
Hi, do you have an idea of how to remove any built up lint from the machine? Our machine is overheating and I am worried it will stop working completely, likely due to a vent issue caused by clogged lint. Thank you!
Do you use the dryer often? I just use a cloth to collect the small amount of build up of lint on the door. Have you been routinely running a tub clean programme?
Thank you for your reply. I do the same as you mentioned to remove lint around the door and front gasket. I do run a tub clean cycle every month with a descaling tablet. Our machine usage is 4-5 times a month so not super heavy.
What a bonus, Lucky you 😄 The manuals can be downloaded from the LG Website it may be a different link for each country : gscs-b2c.lge.com/downloadFile?fileId=lnSbZ4WNkgVcXQYt9skLzQ
Hi, Sorry It’s not something I’ve ever done before. I’ve had a quick search but I can’t find any info on it. You could maybe reach out to LG, I’m sure they could answer your question better. Have a lovely day Cearra x
@tech.nicola thank you. I just bought this one. It was a strong battle between this and Samsung Ecobubble but so far this has been beyond my expectations. It dries so well.
Hi, The LG combo model doesn’t have a lint filter that requires cleaning, that's right. This is because it doesn't dry clothes in the same way as a tumble dryer does. Since using the washer/dryer daily I've not noticed any build up of lint. The washer is self cleaning too, it prompts you to do a regular tub clean. Hope this helps.
@@pashazitto627 With an empty drum put the washer on a 'Tub Clean' cycle and it will wash through the compartments keeping the machine clean and smelling fresh!
The Speed 14 wash is only a 20° and 400 spin. You can adjust the programme though. If you did a Speed wash and adjusted to a 40° and 1200 spin it would be just 23 mins. I personally use the Turbowash which takes 39 mins and on a 40° and 1200 spin. Which is perfect for my everyday washing. Again you can adjust the programme for your needs and the time will adjust accordingly. I hope that helps 💜
You can dry damp clothes using the ‘dry only’ programme. I sometimes air clothes and then put them on the dry cycle for 30 mins just to fully dry them.
I’m looking to buy this machine it’s £880 now in Argos, before I purchase I would like to know the cycle time of each program. I heard that it’s take ages for each wash. Can you help me and list the programs with the time length ? Thank you so much
The time lengths depend on the weight of the wash. Which particular programmes do you use? Tbh I use turbo wash at 39 min on a 40° wash and it increases to 59 mins for a 60°
Does anyone know how to remover the. Dryer filter housing that doesn’t have the third bottom center screws. Please tell me I don’t have to tear the whole dryer apart just to remove the housing to properly clean it.
How new is your machine? I did find when we first got it when using the dryer it they did smell a bit like hot and had lost a bit of the fabric conditioner smell. Having used the dryer a lot since I don’t find this at all now.
@@tech.nicola I've had it about a year now I think you're referring to the plastic burning smell. which has gone after aa few uses but clothes are just not fresh smelling vs a stand alone dryer
It does yes. The times depend on the weight of the washing, it will take longer to dry a heavy load than a light one. I’ve found a weighted programme takes longer. So, by practice I use a quick wash (39mins) then put on ‘Dry Only’ for (130mins) and that’s normally enough for a general load of washing.
@@tech.nicola Thanks. Looks like the lint gets to the back of the drum and washes down in the next wash, to that right bottom corner collector. Not an ideal way and it could be the reason more combos breaks down than regular setup. A standalone dryer pulls a whole lot of lint. So I guess the separate dryer is still better, if you have the space and vent.
This is why it prompts a tub clean every so often. The accumulation of lint is nowhere near what you’d expect to get in the lint tray of a tumble dryer. Which I suppose is better for your clothes lifespan too.
The lint collects in the internals of the dryer part of the machine requiring regular maintenance. Look for a video titled LG F1450DPRE washing machine and dryer combo cleaning steps ...to get an idea
Can someone tell me why some areas of clothes is not even wet? Does the washer intake water well? It looks like someone urinating from one single side on left ( sorry just want to explain it clearly ) There is some serious problem and technicians doesn’t seem to even know whats happening
I don’t believe it does . It’s smart via the LG ThinQ where you can remote start and view your programmes. It also notifies you on your apple devices too.
Hi Nichola, I have recently bought this and my clothes are coming out really creased/wrinkled, just wondering if you have experienced this and if you have any help/tips. Thanks
I haven’t. Is this after a wash or a dry? Clothes can wrinkle if they are left in the drum a long time once the programme has finished. Could this be the cause?
@@tech.nicola which is huge downside, specially for dryer. the clothes leftovers are collecting at the doors and seals, so it's harder to clean, then just clean a filter.
What does the drying clothes like ? Is it run on heat pump Are use the cheaper washing machine About five years same that you had But it’s your third one so I was just wondering how the drying is after the wash it used to make my clothes like really hot and shrink
What type is yours? My last two were Hotpoint and they did run hot. I don't think this one does. I also haven't found anything to shrink and it dries things a lot quicker too! Over the years the technology does get better. A new machine is sure to be an upgrade after 7 years. I do especially love this one for the smart features. I've since downloaded a quick dry programme where I can dry a load in an hour!
@@tech.nicola can you make a tutorial on everything about drying for this machine? It's really confusing and I don't understand how the drying works and how I should service or maintain it
@@thespecialist75 sorry, I don’t. I’ve just looked on the app and you’re right it does have stats for washes and energy used but there no values on the graph. So couldn’t work out consumsion. The graph just shows an increase when using the tumble dryer through the winter.

Tbh I use turbo wash at 39 min on a 40° wash and it increases to 59 mins for a 60°
How long does it take for washing and drying?
Depends on the size of the load.
In what function we need to wash bedsheets and blanket in this machine.
Honestly I use turbo wash for most washes but a cotton 60° is good for white sheets and regarding blankets, it depends on the fabric.
@@tech.nicola Thank you so much now i will do the same
Price???
got mine today its loud.. and how do i start the dryer function? ^^
Regarding the noise, Is the machine level? The dryer function is under the ‘Dry’ programme.
Oh, my God! See the min 1 and 15 sec! Quick! Hope not to be too late!
@@amenono i removed them berfore start ^^ thx anyway
Hy. Wich cycle is the best for white clothes? :) ty.
Probably Cotton 60° but I use quick cycle and change the temperature to 60° and I’ve never had any problems x
Does anyone know how to remover the. Dryer filter housing that doesn’t have the third bottom center screws. Please tell me I don’t have to tear the whole dryer apart just to remove the housing to properly clean it.
does the 14 minute program dry aswell or wash only?
It just washes. The shortest dry programme is 30mins
@@tech.nicola thanks
Thank you 🙏
You’re welcome 😍
I have the same machine but find clothes don't smell fresh after being dried. all the soap and softener smell has gone. do you notice the same?
How new is your machine? I did find when we first got it when using the dryer it they did smell a bit like hot and had lost a bit of the fabric conditioner smell.
Having used the dryer a lot since I don’t find this at all now.
@@tech.nicola I've had it about a year now I think you're referring to the plastic burning smell. which has gone after aa few uses but clothes are just not fresh smelling vs a stand alone dryer
Hey! Does this dry to 100% and if so, how long does it take for the entire cycle from washing to drying?
It does yes. The times depend on the weight of the washing, it will take longer to dry a heavy load than a light one.
I’ve found a weighted programme takes longer. So, by practice I use a quick wash (39mins) then put on ‘Dry Only’ for (130mins) and that’s normally enough for a general load of washing.
Hi! What’s model name you have? :)
@@tech.nicolawhen you choose 130 min for drying how much kq clothes ypu put to the machine?
Where do all the lint collect after the drying cycle?
There’s very little lint build up. But when it does, a wipe with a cloth around the door and the seal collects what there is.

Can someone tell me why some areas of clothes is not even wet?
Does the washer intake water well? It looks like someone urinating from one single side on left ( sorry just want to explain it clearly )
There is some serious problem and technicians doesn’t seem to even know whats happening
Are you overloading the drum?
Does this have voice control with amazon alexa or Google home?
I don’t believe it does . It’s smart via the LG ThinQ where you can remote start and view your programmes. It also notifies you on your apple devices too.
@@tech.nicola thanks, it seems it might do: th-cam.com/video/UkpaWvcr_l0/w-d-xo.html
How many rpm please
1400 or 14000 rpm !?
It is a 1400 😊
I’ve purchase the same model 8kg last year but it doesn’t dry the clothes now please help
Is it the same washer/dryer version?
@@tech.nicola yes
Nice Washer 😃
Thanks 😊
Hola, caben edredones, cobijas matrimoniales?
Short answer, Yes!
Does it make loud noise
Not at all.
Where does all the lint go?
If using the dryer often the lint does collect around the door. It just needs a wipe with a cloth every now and again.
how long its take to dry
It depends on the size of the wash load. I can dry a full load of towels in 2hrs. Or a small load of kids school uniform in 30mins.

Hay, I'm from India. I've also bought the same model 1 month ago. But I've bought it for 645 USD around 490 pounds.
Wow, What a bargain! I hope you’re as happy with it too ☺️
@@tech.nicola Ya, sure. 😊
Where’s the lint collection area
Hi, thanks for your question 😀
The LG combo model doesn’t have a lint filter that requires cleaning.
@@tech.nicola which is huge downside, specially for dryer. the clothes leftovers are collecting at the doors and seals, so it's harder to clean, then just clean a filter.
for the time I've used it I've not found this at all. It's self cleaning too, the washer prompts you to do a tub clean.
It's really confusing and I don't understand how the drying works and how I should service or maintain it
@@tech.nicola also why does it take so long?
VRAIMENT COOL MERCI PTG 75
LG is good !
Yes I’m quite an LG fan too 😍
Can I have your comments after nearly 2 years of use? 😂 How's the drying function? Thanks
Of course. It’s brilliant, still love it. I’ve had no problems with it at all. We’ve moved house with it too and it’s still like brand new.
@@tech.nicola thanks, do you know by any chance of this has energy consumption information in the app? Some pages say it does some it doesn't.
@@thespecialist75 sorry, I don’t. I’ve just looked on the app and you’re right it does have stats for washes and energy used but there no values on the graph. So couldn’t work out consumsion. The graph just shows an increase when using the tumble dryer through the winter.
So far I’ve done 566 cycles with it! 😮
@@tech.nicola thanks for the info.
Nicla. Can u please post complete wash cycle video with background noise? Many viewers wants to hear sound.
I do give a short example of the spin cycle noise on my review but unfortunately I don’t plan of creating a full cycle noise test.
Thank you for watching 😃
Lint sticks to your clothes when using washer dryee
Is this something you’ve noticed while using this model? It’s not something I’ve experienced.
Omg my mum just bought this and when it try’s to dry the clothes it start moving so fast and noises are loud asf
How long has she had it? I assume she removed the delivery bolts from it.
Otherwise It sounds like it’s not levelled properly. It should not move at all even on a spin.
@@tech.nicola we literally got it 3 days ago
@@tech.nicola if I remove the things like bolts behind the washer things would be okay?
Where is the qr code ?
Price kya hai
Prices can vary between countries and offers available. I paid £750.
Hello. I have the same washing machine and when I go to wash, it does the process well, but at the beginning of the cycle it washes for approximately 3 minutes and drains the water and reloads water, then drains again instantly and reloads and washes and then rinses and centrifuge, is that normal? I feel like it wastes the detergent.
What programme do you use? It could be a pre wash if you’re using a long cycle.
Same one I use
Mine is not drying why is that ?

Yes I have Instagram 💗
@@tech.nicola I cannot find you, Instagram. Good evening, 1:30 PM Sunday, October 8th.
If you are a family of 4 get a separate washer dryer. They take bloody ages.
We are a family of 4 and I manage fine with a washer/dryer.
I do at least one of washing a day to manage the amount of tumble drying I need to do.
@@tech.nicola does your dryer shrink any clothes? Hoodies / T shirts?
