Your channel came up as recommended and as a TH-cam landscape photographer myself your channel has really caught my interest, I look forward to your content
Thanks Mick, welcome aboard! Glad to hear that, I try to balance the audio to still let some of the sounds of nature come through (provided theres no crazy winds, which isn't uncommon in scotland haha). Cheers :)
thanks conrad! haha, I've lost some of my accent after many years living abroad but there are still some words and phrases that I say like a proper saffer ;)
bit of advice.. you need to learn to start previsualising, and use different perspecitives.. 90% of those images the subject matter was far away, with nothing in the foreground, no depth, the horizon lines in the same place etc... They come across as snapshots... maybe the sunrise reflection image in the sand works ok...
Thanks for the comment, Steve. Everyone looks at composition differently which I find fascinating! The focus of many of the images in this video in particular is on form, colour, and the skies/conditions as an expression of a feeling that I had on location, rather than a literal physical depiction of the place. In the end, not every image is I make is going to be for everyone, sorry to hear you didn't connect with them. cheers :)
Murray, delighted to have just discovered your channel. Even your RAW images can stand on their own. Great work!
Thank you! :)

Excellent video and images Murray. On the tv it didn't look cold at all in the first half. The second half looked freezing.
Cheers peter! it was a shift in the winds and a bit of a snap for sure. when that northerly comes in it brings all that cold air with it!
Great video. As you started speaking, I thought to myself, he's South African 😄, like myself.
