Harden agreed to the under the table pay cut, so the Sixers could make roster moves (PJ Tucker, Danuel House). It wasn’t contingent on his Playoff performance, Harden played his part at the beginning of the season and Morey lied.

This is a classic case of a spoiled child who’s use to getting their way and getting over on their parent. Then when the parent finally sets boundaries or starts saying no! The kid can’t handle it and starts acting out and having a fit. When Morey left Houston, so did some of Harden’s perks. That’s the only reason he wanted to link back up with him in Philly. Harden thought he’d always be his puppet.
