Hello. Just to confirm, Masters by Coursework will have a 3 year length of stay on the 485 visa and not Masters by Research?

@@SumanDua Thanks. Your video says that the Masters by Coursework has a 3 year length of stay after studies but I read that it is a 2 year length of stay but, the Masters by Research will have a 3 year length of stay.

I am on a bridging visa A as I applied for student visa onshore.
I have initiated the visa cancellation process with the immigration. However, given the uncertainty surrounding the timeline for completion, Could I travel back to my country on BVA only as I do not intend to come back so not interested in BVB?

Hi Suman Dua, I received the pre invite from Victoria to apply for 190 Visa. While submitting the application their was question "Have you made an application to/or been nominated by any other Australian state or territory?" Should I answer 'Yes' or 'No' to this question? Actually I have lodged separate EOI's to all the states and territories but did not receive the invite from any state till date. So I'm confused on what to answer for the above question. If I select 'Yes', it is giving me the list of all state/territory to select and also asking for the details(i.e stage in the application process, date of nomination etc..) of other state/territory application or nomination. Please let me know on what to answer for this question. It is a humble request.

They haven't said anything about students already studying before they brought this age range into effect. But dont hold your breath as the Australian government might surprise everyone.
If you are a new student going to turn 35 or over, why in Australia you be very lucky to get a visa to stay on. Look at PHD students are only getting 3 years, and the 4th year of writing up will be outside of Australia by the look of it.

Hi, I am an international student in the Master of Public Health in Queensland University of Technology started on 26 of February this year. My age is 38 years old What is my option after these new changes to stay in Australia after completing the master's degree i will be 40 years old at the end of the Master.

The Australian government hasn't said anything about age range for students already studying in Australia. But I they may change their minds as a lot of imogration lawyers have not been told if students in Australia are safe from it or its only new students that are affected.
Working visa will have its age range to 35, so I've heard and selecive countries will be priority with onshore applications.
Australia is going back to its old ways of picking skilled work from selective countries, and with age limits, this is nothing new. The population has boomed and shouldn't be at 27 million, that population number is forecast for 2047, not now, the government made a huge mistake and imogration is always the first thing to change. Unfortunately, it's you and other students who get hit first.

Heard that Visa finished, and anyone who applied for it would get a refund. Australian government has really cut the numbers back, and now put a block list of some countries, university are already starting to not take students from the government list. Onshore applications will be processed 1st for university's or working visa's. The list of countries Australia is encouraging people to apply for jobs are, UK, Canada, USA, Japan, Fiji, Philippines, and the EU. An imogration lawyer that I watched was talking about 50% to 90% rejection rates from aparts of Asian countries for working and students visa's.
