Certainly. The critical aspect of calculating whether someone is 35 years of age or under, as per the Home Affairs guidelines, is ensuring that the person has not yet turned 36 on the relevant date. Here are some examples using your birthdate of March 16, 1991, with various test dates to determine if you would be considered "35 years of age or under":
    ### Example 1: March 15, 2026
    - This date is one day before your 35th birthday in 2026.
    - You are 34 years old, turning 35 the next day.
    - Since you are under 35, you meet the "35 years of age or under" requirement.
    ### Example 2: March 16, 2026
    - This date is your 35th birthday.
    - You are exactly 35 years old on this date.
    - You meet the "35 years of age or under" requirement.
    ### Example 3: July 1, 2026
    - This date is several months after your 35th birthday in 2026.
    - You are still 35 years old.
    - You meet the "35 years of age or under" requirement.
    ### Example 4: March 15, 2027
    - This date is one day before your 36th birthday in 2027.
    - You are still 35 years old.
    - You meet the "35 years of age or under" requirement.
    ### Example 5: March 16, 2027
    - This is your 36th birthday.
    - You are now 36 years old.
    - You do **not** meet the "35 years of age or under" requirement.
    ### Example 6: July 1, 2027
    - This date is several months after your 36th birthday in 2027.
    - You are 36 years old.
    - You do **not** meet the "35 years of age or under" requirement.
In summary, the key point is that you should not yet be 36 years old on the given date to meet the "35 years of age or under" requirement. Any date before March 16, 2027, would meet this condition. Dates on or after this date would not, as you would be 36 or older. CHATGPT

Hi Karl, the home affair already posted their proposal regarding the age limits on the official website, indicating that proposed on July 1, 2024, Does it mean that it's already the final change or is there still any chance for this age limit to be canceled or change? the "proposed" means still in the proposal stage or way more like a notice in advance?

Hi Karl is this new rule does include 35 years students or not? Because different people have different explanations. As per the home affairs administration report it clearly says student in 35 also include and some of the news articles also confirm the same. Can you explain this?

If we analyze what recent visa changes they have announced proposed English language requirements in detail through English Australia website a few months ago. Now we can see same changes coming in to effect without any word changes. If we see administration report which says “reducing the maximum age limit to 35 years old inclusive ( previously 50 years old )” clearly explains the limits which they are gonna set. So it means you have to be age 35 years old or younger ( inclusive) to apply new temporary graduate visa. I think they have already finalized this otherwise they are not going to publish this in their website.

I need only 1.5 year on the same Job to be eligible for the 3 years relevant job for 186 Direct entry? My company will sponsor me on 186 DE. Am I correct? Hoping for your response.
