    Interesting video with advanced expressions, thanks. What I can't relate is why the main motive to use these expressions would be to sound impressive. I would rather like to know the subtle nuances these expressions add to the standard clause, e.g. more polite, more elegant etc.

    Hello ! Concerning "provided that", could we just skip the "that" and say "provided the weather is nice...." ?
    How about "providing (that)"? I've read it a few times somewhere, is it really common, does it sound weird or do native use it?

    At 6:40, it looks like you're conflating the conditional with the subjunctive. Your sentence structures are correct, but the "If I were" construction is subjunctive.
