I can tell you the problem of air pollution is very prominent in kanpur. People are least concerned about environment. Even sometimes i feel like nausea in traffic due to exhaust of vehicles. As someone suffering from asthma for more than 8 years thanks for raising your voice against increasing pollution. 1 Percent In my opinion we should first start separating wet waste from dried one. In trash picking trucks we see there are two different compartment 1 for recyclable waste and other for non-recyclable one. I have no idea what to do about pollution created from construction but government can keep factories and cars in check also can upgrade India's transporting facilities to e-vehicles and maybe like Singapore government can also increase taxes in purchasing private vehicle which will led to less private transport on road

I'm from Assam but staying in Delhi for almost a year and this phase was the most challenging for me regarding my health. This issue must be presented before the Centre before its too late.
I am from Himachal and since childhood we have seen pure things, lived in a pure environment. The AQI remains below 50 most of the time but due to the road constructions since last 3-4 years, the temperature in the area has increased by 2-3 degrees. Last year landslides and other issues occurred during monsoons, people were affected directly and indirectly. Lung cancer and heart attack rates have increased in our area. So, this issue needs to be addressed. Thank you for spreading the awareness, more power to you people 😊

I am Mufida Rahaman a student of class XII from a small village of Howrah, West Bengal. If we talk about a clean environment firstly we need to aware every citizen. In my society there is none who thinks that there is a serious issue like ‘pollution’. Some thinks it's just a topic of books. Solutions we may apply: 1. Absolutely planting trees. In villages there are too many vacant areas to be noticed. But peoples are Indifferent and lazy. But deforestation is on the peak. Government need to look on this. NGOs have to organise small campaigns and need to give residents trees which grows too fast. 2. Schools can l contribute something great. Every students are interested in doing new tasks. If schools teach every student how to plant trees , they would immediately try to apply that thing . 3. Solar system is a great contender of thermal plants. Not only government but also the citizens and schools can use solar plants. 4. CNG can be used as a substitute of Petrol. Is it helpful? You can add more solution.😊
The major barrier for implementing these solutions or any other solutions is internal pollution... Firstly we should get rid off internal pollution i.e CORRUPTION.
It has nothing to do with it. Change always happens on an individual level, if you throw waste carelessly it's your fault, if govt doesn't take a stand we have to, govt humse hai, uski wajah se hum nahi... If we can do it on an individual level change will be massive imagine even 1 Cr people managing waste on an individual level, it would be a massive change... The people should take the initiative to segregate the waste at their home itself. I'm from Indore and here the people sort the waste into 6 different categories. This made it easier for the muncipal coorporation to deal with the waste. And prior to it people must consider themselves responsible for this. Change always happens on an individual level, if you throw waste carelessly it's your fault, if govt doesn't take a stand we have to, govt humse hai, uski wajah se hum nahi... If we can do it on an individual level change will be massive imagine even 1 Cr people managing waste on an individual level, it would be a massive change... If 1 cr people planted 1 tree we would have 1 cr tress. Take responsibility, it's my earth!

The people should take the initiative to segregate the waste at their home itself. I'm from Indore and here the people sort the waste into 6 different categories.
This made it easier for the muncipal coorporation to deal with the waste.
And prior to it people must consider themselves responsible for this. We don't even throw a wrapper anywhere other than a dustbin.
