Lars does some of the best demos out there! Range, variety of touch/technique, and actually uses the low B where appropriate.

Affordable....euro serie cost today 2900 €....few years ago it will cost around 2000€ or less, an euro rebop ( bolt on) around 1400€....the prices of the musical instruments are just crazy today...
Affordable compared to their U.S. custom shop basses. Still, the Euros (just like the US basses) are worth every penny and there's always the more affordable Legend, Ethos, Pulse, and Dimension lines.
@@lf170They are not worth every penny at all, they are extremely overpriced. You can get a custom from many great European and US luthiers for the money it takes to get an Euro Spector, and they will be a lot better in every single way.
@@AlexandarShmexI've owned several and they've been well made and feel better than Fender, Yamaha, or Ibanez' most expensive production basses. They're not for everyone, sure. The smaller body is an issue for some. And others don't like the EMG sound which is understandable. But they don't skimp on craftsmanship. As for CUSTOM builders in that price range, you're obviously talking about much smaller, lesser well known ones because you're not going to find a custom shop Fodera, Alembic, Warwick, or Fender bass for $3000. The Euro prices are still less than German Warwick and Sadowsky Metroline and around the same price as US Lakland, Ernie Ball Music Man and others. So, not overpriced. Or you can just say ALL basses are overpriced, these days.

Every time I look at a Warwick I want one, but every time I hear a Spector I want one more.
Warwick pickups/electronics are really mediocre-a terrible sin for such amazing instruments. I have two corvettes from the 90s made in Germany, a 4 JJ and a 5 MM. Dropped Delano's in each and it's crazy the difference. Really the best all around Basses I've ever played after the change. It's a shame they don't sound better from the factory, as the craftsmanship and feel and looks are all really top notch
I'm one that prefers solid and metallic finishes. Really makes the curves stand out. I've never been attracted to the fancy figured maple.
My favorite Spector Euro is the one I already own, a lovely 6LX 6-string with the black cherry finish

Hi Grregor, love the channel, I got one question: Does the single coil buzz when you Jaco it? I love EMG pickups because they are dead silent, but have they addressed the single coil buzz (like Aguilar HC pickups for example) . Thank you!

I've owned several Spector basses and I seem to always have problems with the necks and the truss rods. I sent one to Spector and it still had problems when it came back. I like the basses but not the neck problems.
Spector has many levels of basses. Some made in USA, some in Europe, some Korea, Indonesia. Where did the problem ones come from? I have a 20+ year old euro and the neck is perfect along with the rest of it.

Spector's 5 string headstock is the ugliest in the business. But still very nice looking and sound great.
Beautiful basses but those are the cheapest looking tone/volume nobs ever.

What’s wrong with a gig bag? The perceived security of a hard case (which is complete bs) is outweighed by being large, heavy, and cumbersome. Gig bags are much more manageable and arguably more convenient.

Du bist witzig. Irgendwelche blöden Gerüchte aus dem Internet verbreiten, ohne sich mal hinzusetzen und in Ruhe mal ein paar Instrumente anhören, bzw. diese vergleichen. Das ist schon richtig schwach. Nimm den Aluhut aus den Ohren und befass Dich mit dem Thema, bevor Du hier solche unterbelichteten Sprüche abfeuerst
