Hi, your video is wonderful, and as a beginner its easy to learn and follow. My 2024 version is not showing the AEC material, am not sure where its locked or its something else. It shows an icon for an error on the AEC material folder and hence when i wanted to insert the plant, i couldn't proceed. Please help on how to activate. I downloaded the UK family when i failed get doors etc.
I am taking a course in using drones for commercial applications. An elective course is BIM. We are using Revit and I had no idea what it was all about. I've watched a few videos but this is wonderful because you are actually designing something instead of teaching us all the components. This is an excellent video. Thank you so much!!! Subscribed!

U should start to teach how to draw a wall with size and everything belong to! Not to mix everything with each other just make it simple for beginner not mix all part of a building . Beginners like to know how to draw ex. a wall or door etc. not first the entire building!? When the student know how to draw a wall he wouldknow the entire building ! Like step by step , because u r talking of BEGINNERS!!!!

I followed your instructions for the roof and when I did the same way you did the second time, I got an error said (Can't make footprint roof) and I stopped the drawing because I couldn't do noting

@@s15studio thanks for responding I think it is a visualisation issue as it looks correct in different settings I am using the latest version if I change to realistic it looks correct maybe a glitch

It sounds like there was an error during installation of the software. The easiest solution is to uninstall the software and then reinstall.

What's the difference between ground level and ground floor?
Ground level is the level of the ground in which the building sits, and the ground floor is the level of the buildings floor.

Hi, can you try to delete the roof entirely and draw it again? Sometimes, this is the quickest way to resolve an issue with the roof.
