      God is never absent as some may think. He always initiates. The problem is indifference. With regard to the things of God in Christianity and even Catholicism is the 'I don't care' attitude that young people see in adults who profess faith in Jesus. If we overcome indifference and respond to the movements in our heart, we become more attuned and gradually overcome indifference. I know because I've seen this in my life. You don't need to take my word for it. Commit your way to Him and He will more than respond. I heard a wise and older friend tell me many years back that you can't outgive the Lord and I believe its true. The challenge is my meager efforts at testing that but to the extent I do, He responds in spades.

    It is disturbing how many people will confidently declare: ''I don't believe in God, but I am spiritual'' without having the slightest idea what they mean by that.
    It is more disturbing to find that such people, while profiting from the civilisation made by Christianity, will vehemently deny the power of Christ.

      "[S]uch people, while profiting from the civilisation made by Christianity, will vehemently deny the power of Christ."
      This is true of the "Spiritual but not religious" crowd, but it's also true of atheists. Recently the famous atheist Richard Dawkins called himself a "cultural Christian".
      He said: "I call myself a cultural Christian. I’m not a believer, but there’s a distinction between being a believing Christian and being a cultural Christian. … I love hymns and Christmas carols, and I sort of feel at home in the Christian ethos. … We [in the U.K.] are a “Christian country” in that sense."

      That was me before, I use to love to sing Christmas carols and thought of my as a sort of Christian or cultural christian to use Dawkins analogy. But in truth, as I have since learnt, I was not a Christian at all. I became a born again Christian in lockdown, not even in a church, just me telling God I needed Him. I urge anyone remotely interested in letting Jesus in to their life to pray to Him because He heard me and I know He’ll hear you too.

    I took a physics class back in high school (feels like an eternity ago now) and almost everyone ridiculed me as a Christian because they themselves were “rational atheists” that “only believed in the Scientific.” But…

    There is a disturbing amount of people here in Scandinavia that has started to worship the old norse "gods". Most of them without ANY real and deeper understanding of the old mythology. On the surface it looks and feels ridiculous. No better word for it. But in truth, they are kids playing with powers they do not understand. At least the old norse people knew to fear and even despise these demons. They subtly ridiculed and mocked them in most of their stories about them. But now people seem to think of them as positive forces of nature on par with primitive nature religions or simply symbolic avatars for "the spiritual forces" unseen. They are neither of course. They are demons. No more. No less. But worshipped and given power, even from a naïve and uninformed person, they are dangerous nonetheless. And these demons that once infested this part of the world has now gained entry once again with the help of humans, most of whom think it's a fun and interesting "hobby". But the worst part is, that the church pay absolutely no attention to this or completely fail to take this spiritual war serious.

      It seems to be quite prominent in the Northern European countries. Even in the US there is an infatuation with the Norse gods via an obsession with the Vikings. I suspect the popular Viking series has played a big role in this. In John Davidsons book, Pagan America, he outlines the human sacrifices, archeological evidence, etc. that show that while the Vikings had periods of calm and civility they often were as brutal as most pagan nations- particularly regarding human sacrifices.

The method was presented to us in highly scientific, rationalistic, even materialistic terms. For example, we were instructed to set aside all habits of prayer, reading, etc., for the duration of the retreat. Mere Christianity were radio addresses made during WWII. The first address talks about stripping Christianity down to what all Christian faiths have in common, not focusing on their differences in doctrine or traditions. Very useful for all Christians…

    Jung seems to be the most conflicted visionary of the modern era. He had to have believed in the figures he met and spoke to in his own subconscious, and those of his patients, and understood that the anima and animus were autonomous (divinely sourced, supernatural). He even understood that Freud was somewhat trapped in his own projections. As a scientist, however, Jung knew that he could never express such a notion professionally, and he was embarrassed by his earlier forays into spiritism. So we may never know if or what he personally believed. He seems never to have made the leap to a true faith, and thereby, a true perception of the universe. We also know that he and other psychologists were being sought and groomed by the CIA and Darpa as part of their mind control experiments on youth in the 50s and 60s. So, like Fauci in our own days, we can see how well-meaning public servants can be brought into the service of globalist demonic programs and agendas, somewhat against their free-will judgment.

      The nation being born in a day is through the resurrection. The imagery of Isaiah, concerning giving birth, when looking at the entire book, connects the birth of Israel to the resurrection. Read Isaiah 66:7-9, Isaiah 54:1-3, Isaiah 26:16-19.
      Also, as a side note, if you read the rest of Isaiah 66:7-16 “7 ¶ “Before she was in labor, she delivered;
      Before her pain came, she gave birth to a boy.
      8 “Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things?
      Can a land be born in one day?
      Can a nation be given birth all at once?
      As soon as Zion was in labor, she also delivered her sons.
      9 “Shall I bring to the point of birth but not give delivery?” says the LORD.
      “Or shall I who gives delivery shut the womb?” says your God
      10 “Be joyful with Jerusalem and rejoice for her, all you who love her;
      Be exceedingly glad with her, all you who mourn over her,
      11 So that you may nurse and be satisfied with her comforting breasts,
      So that you may drink fully and be delighted with her bountiful breasts.”
      12 For this is what the LORD says: “Behold, I extend peace to her like a river,
      And the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream (Isaiah 60:1-5);
      And you will be nursed, you will be carried on the hip and rocked back and forth on the knees.
      13 “As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you;
      And you will be comforted in Jerusalem.”
      14 Then you will see this, and your heart will be glad,
      And your bones will flourish like the new grass;
      And the hand of the LORD will be made known to His servants (Isaiah 25:9-10, Isaiah 24:23, 2 Thessalonians 1:10),
      But He will be indignant toward His enemies.
      15 For behold, the LORD will come in fire,
      And His chariots like the whirlwind,
      To render His anger with fury,
      And His rebuke with flames of fire.
      16 For the LORD will execute judgment by fire
      And by His sword on humanity,
      And those put to death by the LORD will be many (2 Thessalonians 7-9).”
      If you read this it shows that after Israel is brought back into the land the Lord will appear to judge the nations. We haven’t seen this at all. But, this is notable to the second coming of Christ, which brings about the resurrection.

    Great commentary. I believe that there exists another dangerous activity that is set forth on YT in particular but also in numerous books on the subject of NDEs. I am a Christian but I enjoy listening to what peeps have to say about their OBE and NDE experiences. Typically the trend was that a person would experience an NDE, see deceased relatives, talk to Jesus or an Angel and be told they have to return because their life's work has not been fulfilled and then return, usually positively affected by their recollection of their experience. Others reported being sent straight to Hell later to be rescuced by Jesus and returned to life. (Some peeps also say that you can get the same type of experience by ingesting DMT but I don't know anything about that drug and I'm not interested in what druggies report regarding anything).
    But a trend that I have noticed lately in the NDE crowd is that there is a central message of 'divine foregiveness' in many of these reports, in which an individual will have the NDE and then come back with a message that states that everyone is forgiven of all of their sins regardless of their belief and faith in, or their rejection of, the redemptive power of the sacrifice of Jesus. Ìnclusive within the structure of their reports is that people enter into a thing called a "Soul Contract" in which they agree to be born at a certain time, into a certain family with various previously agreed upon major events to learn specific lessons...all geared toward teaching the soul, etc. and preparing it for another reincarnation at a later time after the current lifetime. And on, and on, and on.
    One of the theorists in philosophies of life after life experiences was Edgar Cayce and although he has been dead for a long time he has many followers and people who are true believers in his teachings. I was listening to a YT vid a couple of days ago in which a Cayce group moderator was discussing the commentary of a Cayce adept who had incurred an NDE and who discussed the action and effect of human prayer upon the souls of the souls of the living and the deceased. This adept said that while he was on the other side he saw a certain "Nazi official" who was imprisoned and who could not move along in his soul's developmental 'journey' because no one on the earth was praying for him. Using the teachings of Jesus to pray for your enemies and for those who do or would persecute you, this moderator proceeded to encourage people to see the truth of the collary between the idea of reincarnation and the teachings of Jesus which he had taken completely out of context.
    So, there are hundreds of dangers geared to the destruction of human logic, reasoning and of the human soul. They exist much like an evil wine press that does all it can to gather the souls of even the elect and pervert them from the simple truth of the Gospel of Jesus. I have no voice but you do and this might be another subject for your channel. Good luck in all you do!

    I’ve met this materialist magician to a t, i’m so glad God saved me. I used to do all these things. I still think I could read tarot and worship God through it as I think God would be the one speaking to me through the cards as now all the images stirs up christian and biblical truths and conversations from within me. I wonder If I am allowed to use tarot specifically on tiktok away from other christian’s not to hurt their faith as most christian’s think the cards themselves are defiled, yet I would say it is the lack of faith and obedience to God by the user that opens up the door to the dark spiritual forces of evil. I think I could share the Gospel with these lost souls, yet I haven’t because I burned all my cards when I came to Jesus as at the time I did not know if I could ever touch them again and looking at them hurt. Please pray for me if this is something I should do. I would hate to hide the faith God gave me. Yet it’s still similar to divination even though the one I would be seeking would be God.

    The early Jungians were the first to do this materialist magician stuff. Jung used to talk about God, but what he meant was the image of God (or ideas about God) that existed in human minds and dreams. Jung thought that that was how you could scientifically talk about God. He could say things that seemed religious without really believing in an actual, objective God. He was quite a sneaky Pete. Materialist hated him for that reason and sided with Freud. Eventually Jungian thought got taken up into New Age beliefs and the more magical side of this form of materialism took over.

      @@otl_podcast_ imo, this may be why he seems on the fence, but I see him struggling to uphold Jungian belief lately. That's a good sign. He's deeply influenced by the Old Testament too and knows how to utilise that knowledge in everyday mundane life, which is helpful.
      He's still growing. I think that God is using him for good, despite many people not seeing it that way.

      @@otl_podcast_ Let me reiterate about Jung. Jung was a scientific materialist. The only way he could talk about God scientifically and materially was by pointing at the images of God in human minds, mythologies, and dreams over millennia.
      Peterson started out as a intellectual scientific atheist. He was a trained clinician. So part of his training was the Jungian idea of God as images lines inside human minds.
      And so when he started talking religiously, he was ultimately falling back on his Jungian perspective. It made what he had to say very complicated with many moving parts, always trying to stay within scientific and material bounds. But he made a big impact because, as with Jung, people were not used to a trained intellectual talking about God and God-related themes.
      If you look at the youtube of Peterson and Russel Brand talking about Brand's baptism, you can tell immediately that they've got the Jungian infection. What they have to say is long, complicated, and very much not to the point. I hope and suppose that they will one day be able to boil all that down into 'an outline of sound doctrine.' (2 Timothy 1:13)
      I got introduced to Jung by way of the Canadian novelist Robert Davies. I had a thrilling romp through his novels, having an encountered an intellectual who took the Sunday school stories of my youth seriously.
      Then I was reading a posthumous biography of him and there was a place where he said something like "the best way to know God, is to know yourself." A pithy description of the Jungian endeavor.
      And also what I like to call "a hairline fracture of the truth." God is a being apart from anything we can claim to know about him. We do not learn about him by learning about ourselves. We learn about ourselves from coming to know him, chiefly through the gift of his Word that He has crafted with the lives of many people over much time. In Jungianism, the truth has been directly inverted at its most fundamental point.
      What I am hoping for for Peterson and Brand is that while they are constructing and talking about their intellectual ideas about God, God may tap them on the back (so to speak) and say "over here, dude."
      But that process is as private as a man's soul. Only the eventual fruits will tell.

      I can say a lot of jungian ideas helped me bridge from buddhism to Christianity (thanks be to God forever ✝️) but one of my harder sticking points was trying not keep God as some kind of intellectual property to understand some ‘mystical greater truth’ rather accepting God as ABSOLUTE DIVINITY and I’m happy to say He thwarted any and all forms of this thinking because it troubled my heart deeply, which was the Holy Spirit convicting me of damnable ideas.

    19 For the kingdom of the devil must shake, and they which belong to it must needs be stirred up unto repentance, or the devil will grasp them with his everlasting chains, and they be stirred up to anger, and perish;
    20 For behold, at that day shall he rage in the hearts of the children of men, and stir them up to anger against that which is good.
    21 And others will he pacify, and lull them away into carnal security, that they will say: All is well in Zion; yea, Zion prospereth, all is well-and thus the devil cheateth their souls, and leadeth them away carefully down to hell.
    22 And behold, others he flattereth away, and telleth them there is no hell; and he saith unto them: I am no devil, for there is none-and thus he whispereth in their ears, until he grasps them with his awful chains, from whence there is no deliverance.
    23 Yea, they are grasped with death, and hell; and death, and hell, and the devil, and all that have been seized therewith must stand before the throne of God, and be judged according to their works, from whence they must go into the place prepared for them, even a lake of fire and brimstone, which is endless torment.
    24 Therefore, wo be unto him that is at ease in Zion!
    25 Wo be unto him that crieth: All is well!
    26 Yea, wo be unto him that hearkeneth unto the precepts of men, and denieth the power of God, and the gift of the Holy Ghost!
    27 Yea, wo be unto him that saith: We have received, and we need no more!
    28 And in fine, wo unto all those who tremble, and are angry because of the truth of God! For behold, he that is built upon the rock receiveth it with gladness; and he that is built upon a sandy foundation trembleth lest he shall fall.
    29 Wo be unto him that shall say: We have received the word of God, and we need no more of the word of God, for we have enough!
    30 For behold, thus saith the Lord God: I will give unto the children of men line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little; and blessed are those who hearken unto my precepts, and lend an ear unto my counsel, for they shall learn wisdom; for unto him that receiveth I will give more; and from them that shall say, We have enough, from them shall be taken away even that which they have.
    31 Cursed is he that putteth his trust in man, or maketh flesh his arm, or shall hearken unto the precepts of men, save their precepts shall be given by the power of the Holy Ghost.
    32 Wo be unto the Gentiles, saith the Lord God of Hosts! For notwithstanding I shall lengthen out mine arm unto them from day to day, they will deny me; nevertheless, I will be merciful unto them, saith the Lord God, if they will repent and come unto me; for mine arm is lengthened out all the day long, saith the Lord God of Hosts. 559BC, 2 Nephi 28 Book of Mormon

    Yes, once they produce a person like that the end of the war _will indeed_ be in sight, because "Materialist Magician" is one way to describe the Antichrist. He'll only have about 7 years (84 months or 2,520 days) to do what Hell wants to do, but Jesus Himself said those days would be unprecedented... (Matthew 24:21).

In non judgemental way, it shows our sins as Christians who say that they walk with God, read the Bible every day, but in their heart it is a different story. I'd say that it was eye opening how clever the devil works. It humbled me and brought me closer to God and His word. CS Lewis said it was very hard to write it. I understand why, but not going into details here. The Bible says "my people perish from lack of knowledge". This short read gives you some of this knowledge and imo is a must read for believers to know where the traps lay.

      @OnlyOneName my wife has this in her arsenal of books. I have read a few various authors and they all seem to have their own spin on how Jesus is and how we have to be...in order to be correct. I figured I would instead of getting all various opinions of God... I would just stick to letting the Holy Spirit that guides in all truth teach me how I will be sanctified and I will be able to not take up so much room on shelves for more books...and...will have less room taken up with books that aren't the Bible...which I have a few different translations to vary that up a bit....

    There is another more dangerous phenomena currently occurring: Christians clearly undergoing spiritual warfare (experiencing attacks of the enemy and divine protection/affirmation which are documented and very much real as these premonitions documented actually occurred) being mocked by atheists who are holding hands with perfectly starches suit Sunday going evangelicals (who’ve never said a curse word but never had a true encounter with God) who mindlessly mock what they do not understand for years on end (metaphorically slapping Christ in the face).
