Hay racks from Home Depot. Plants planted in them are Superbells holy cow, pink geraniums, supertunia royal velvet, and lobelia

I think the containers are called window planters, but many people use them in different ways. I have them on a banister as well.

This is my dream garden. Gorgeous colors and variety. Love to hear your excitement with the alyssum. I am obsessed with it! That and salvia are the icing on the cake as far as my garden is concerned. When my garden center ran out. I got 3 packs of seeds and sprinkled them along all my walkways. They just make everything pop!

I see most gardeners start with everything dry. I would first soak the coco mat and place it in holder. Then, all the pots would be placed in a tub of water for about a half hour. Remove from tub and then plant.
Same for in ground planting. Flood the hole with water. Wait for draining. Keep plant in tub of water to be thoroughly hydrated and then plant and backfill. Never have lost a plant 🪴
Love the garden, abd love the music you play i now associate that melody to you. Burning the wood towers was a very good idea.👍

You can take geraniums when the cold weather gets there pull them out of the dirt and shake them off and put them in a paper bag and then put them in your garage or a protected shed and then you can replant them in the spring

Moya, you have such a good eye for color and harmony.
I planted three coral geraniums in a dark pot and mulched with preserved moss. I am smitten! The blooms are such a pretty pink and the leaves have dark touches. Yes, I have to deadhead almost daily, but that means more time staring at the packed blooms. A nearby planter has blue lobelia and together, striking!
I'm glad you mentioned the gorgeous pink hydrangea from the beginning. I can't decide between that variety of garnet. Mini mauvette is also very pretty. One can't go wrong with hydrangeas.

The back space near fountain is looking really lovely. You have a good eye for contrasting leaf texture and colour. That deep coloured Nine Bark is a great back drop looking down the path towards the fountain.
