i’ve been doing these after all the updates glad you’ve made it updates nooblets. you never fail with ark guides and i want to say it’s very very very very very very very very appreciated.
There’s an easier way to get to the artefact, if you go left and follow it till you reach a fork, then go right and follow the path all the way right. Me and my group did it, yeah there’s some more animals but you don’t have to worry about the lava. Just make plenty of antidotes and health brews and a good tame. I recommend a thylo (you have to cryo it in). The thylo can near enough do any tame. It’s the most underrated Dino on the island.

It's interesting, out of all the caves on The Island, I think this is the only one that doesn't seem to have a map showing ALL the routes and loot drop locations. Even on the wiki page. Any guide vids either go all the way left or all the way right. Interesting choices. Love your work as always, @Nooblets

I've died into the lava but the artifact it's MINE
Bigfoot really helps here since he does crazy damage and has the same controls as the Survivor. It feels like putting on power armor. Also his "saddle" is a helmet so it's really easy to get some tough armor from a rare flak BP or drop.
I've done this cave with wolves, gigantopithicus, and a baryonyx, but the bigfoot is probably the easiest to control in terms of movement and tight jumps. The wolves can easily make the jumps but they get really good distance with mediocre elevation so I'm constantly concerned with not getting enough height and overshooting the distance.

If you unpod a drake as u go in you can walk past everything. Dismount at lava cave where the artefact is and draw everything to you with guns, kill with drake. Claws on and walk the roof right to the artefact. Simplest method by far. Still a good vid as alway.
If you think rock drake he is only in aberration

I set up camp down the beach by the cave. I tried clearing that place since lvl 21. At 56 now. I just cleared my way though it wearing full flak, and came here to see what to do once I got the artifact. You just head out?! I hope I can pull off leaving now.
I should have brought a grappling hook :/

Currently starting to collect Artifacts/Tribute items. Is there a considerable difference between difficulty levels of the boss? Should I attempt an Alpha?
alphas are hard but easier than some of the artifact runs imo...i use op spinos for broodmother fights and maxed out rexs for all the other bosses...all my dinos have acsedent saddles so that helps
A new pvp series on official would be fun.

I use a ravager, baryonyx, thyla, antidote for the rabies. Carry an otter so you can carry more than one artifact.
Why can the otter carry another artifact?

This caves alot easier with a velo, it cant jump the lava tho so take a cryo

@@k058op7 or use a stong baryonyx that can jump the gaps instead of going through all that trouble
I took a baryonyx to this cave twice and each time a fell in the Godamn lava!
i went in with m friend and a megatherium and a cryo (for the jumps) and we lost the megatherium and all our gear but we got the artifact in the end
Moral of the story: DONT UNDERESTIMATE THE BATS... YOULL REGRET IT

I play on xbox1 and have lost so many tames to glitches. Can't enter certain caves and artifacts not spawning in. What's best to play on? Console or PC?

If you dont want to do it on foot, use a Thyla, Baryonyx, Saber, or a Wolf.
Will wolf be able to jump on the high jump on the way back?
@@brif656 No, use a cryo.
Thyla can't get in the entry- it gets stuck. If you cryopod or soul trap (using dino storage mod) and pop it out after you get a little way in it should be fine. Bary is the recommended tame for most caves.
Literally everything of any value I have ever lost was to this cave lvl 100 tame baryoyx, master craft shotgun etc.
Same bro, lost my lvl 280 wolf, lvl 270 megatherium MALE BREEDER, legendary revolver, asc crossbow and all of the other high rarity crap

I did this with a saber easily. Don’t know why you don’t use a mount and bug repellent I flew through this and was out with artifacts in 2-3 mins

best way is to run in naked and jump over everything
Y is it not spawning when I'm playing single player?
Make sure you have PvE on and if it still doesn’t spawn just leave it for a bit and come back later. Exact same thing happened to me with hunter and clever and there’s like 1 thing on the entire internet lol

Is this on your solo game? If so make sure pve is on and if that still doesnt work come back to it later and it should respawn :)
There's probably better tames to use but sabertooths destroy these caves like they're nothing.

I soloed the cave with a 3500 hp 350 mel raptor , with prim saddle wearing prim cloth ...

2020 and your still not using recipe, just slam 10 raw meat and some water and you only use 1 per full health regen and they dont spoil as fast as mea, for drinks recipe put in 10 lemon and make recipe
