What a story! You both show what it takes to have a good life in a country like The Philippines; even if us westerners can't relate. Can't wait for part 2. PS: Marisol is stunning.
She kind of reminds me of my wife--very classic Filipina beauty. My wife also graduated college and was working as an executive assistant by age 19. You're right about the English issues--Filipinos are afraid of being teased by their peers even when their English is pretty good.
Her story is so interesting. The majority of women in the western side of the world is trying to devalue men, and claiming being strong to not need us. But women on the eastern side of the world work harder with fewer opportunities. This woman in particular, leaving home and starting her journey at the age of 12 to keep her dreams alive. This is the definition of a strong woman to me! Hearing how some of you have to grow up makes me want to meet a Filipina woman. I appreciate why women over there like men from my side of the world. Looking forward to part 2! SUBSCRIBED!
I'm calling you out, Pea. Yes, she is a beautiful woman, but you are just as beautiful yourself! Besides she's already married so she is off the market. Her tale is incredible to say the least and I completely understand why this would be a two or even three parts. It's so refreshing to hear two gorgeous, articulate Filipinas chatting. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next video on Tuesday.
@@TheFilipinaPea I'm very observant and I saw the ring on the third finger of her left hand. If I am wrong I'll admit it and eat crow, but I'm confident that I'm correct.
There are a number of parallels between Marisol's story and my late wife's (minus, perhaps, the murder attempt. My wife was almost killed before we dated but in her case it was just a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time when one criminal was shot by another right in front of her.)
Amazing Story so far cannot wait to hear the rest. Jealousy is an awful thing to experience. A lot of jealous women will say its love but it's more about insecurity and always ends up ruining what could have been a great relationship.
Always a literal laugh out loud moment at the end of every video, Pea! Brilliant. What an inspiring story! It reminds me of stories in early America, the stories of my grandparents generation and before. My wife, Bing, was living in the mountains of Mindanao, hunting fish with spears and birds with slingshots until government authorities instructed the non English speaking "natives" to become educated. By third grade she skipped a grade and by high school she became valedictorian. After receiving two scholarships she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in English. Ultimately, she lived in Switzerland working at Sandos Pharmaceuticals for fifteen years, learning European languages in the process. After returning to the Philippines I was the lucky man who met this gem of a woman! I can't wait to hear part 2 of this inspiringstory (and more of your experiences with it, as well Pea!). A great story! Salamat Po!
Where can I find a lady like that? She has hunting and survival skills in the wild? And she has Corporate survival skills as well? And she speaks Visayan, English, Tagalog, French, German, and many more? She sounds like one of a wunderkind. You’re a very blessed and lucky man! I hope you both have many children together.
Marisol has lived quite an inspiring life thus far and YOU Pea, as discovered in this video, have as well. What little you have revealed about your own personal journey has, I am sure, increased the respect & admiration your viewers already have for you. Looking forward to part 2. Thanx Pea !!
You are correct about the way Filipinas speak English. I have never had a problem understanding any one here but they all say oh my English is so bad. I always just tell them not to worry because your English is much better than my Bisaya. I am now living in the Philippines with my wife and I always appreciate your videos and interviews. Keep up the good content
If you go to Australia, England, Ireland and even in the southern states in the US the english accent is different. In Asia India has also a different accent almost patterned to England. The Philippines has a neutral accent that the west can understand. That’s why its the number 1 call center of the world. Its also called BPO business- Business Process Outsourcing.
Pea specializes in cliff hangers for sure. The new skit at the end was "out of this world". This has to be one of your best interviews yet. Staying up late or going horizontal!
Thank you Pea. The chemistry between you to is exceptional. Looking forward to part two. So far the real gems of the conversation are, independence, drive, respect and trust. Who wouldn't love both of you? Peace
Wow Pea this has to be the most impactful and meaningful video you have ever produced. I see so much mutual respect between yourself and Maricell. That understanding and empathy comes from a shared struggle that has evolved into a success story for both of you. I have never seen you interview a fellow filipina or a foreign guy where you have been at times awestruck until now. Maricel is undoubtedly a remarkable young woman as are you. From my perspective as someone who has travelled extensively all I can say is that you are both remarkable human beings who should be immensely proud of your respective achievements. You both display humility and even downplay what you have both been able to achieve in a really short time but it has to be said that both you and Maricel are the epitome of what it is to struggle from adversity to true independence. Thank you for interviewing this remarkable lady as she is someone who can look you in the eye and match you which is an extremely rare event.
This is exactly why I am moving to the Philippines she is dropdead gorgeous I could only imagine how it really is I will definitely be there by June once again I cannot wait life changing experience coming soon ✈️🌎🇵🇭❣️🙏🏼🤞🏽💪
Great story from Maricel. Too many people from many countries who pity themselves and their situations could listen and learn. Anything is possible if you are not afraid of hard work.
Maricel is definitely attractive, but her main attraction, (maybe only for me) isn't her face, body or beautiful smile. It's her strength, determination, energy and maturity. Her entrepreneurial abilities are icing on the cake and if she has a sense of adventure and wanting to have a family of her own, then I'd like to meet her in person
I see a budding, life long friendship developing between you. So much mutual respect and similar backgrounds. Congrats to the both of you for overcoming poverty.
What a joy and priviledge to hear your stories. It gives me so much more respect for you and what you have done to become successful. Im sorry I skip some of your adds because the stories were so good!
I really like the variation in the discussion. As an a American born and raised there, I sometimes hear people here in the US saying that they can’t understand the accent so I step in as interpreter (depending on how they come across). I appreciate the attitudes found in the provinces, especially the sense of fulfillment part, which I find healthy while being practical. My upbringing there probably explains why I find Spanish mestiza’s super attractive. Thanks for bridging a little bit of home back to the states!
your a american born in the philippines? from both american parents or halo halo ? so i assume if you grew up in the philippines you speak the local language of the area you grew up in ?

She's special alright... 🙂 ...The thing is that it isn't just beauty, it's that Maricel has already bridged such a socioeconomic chasm that her entire existence, as is, is nothing short of miraculous. Maricel has experienced the types of hardships and challenges as a pre-teen that bring grown adults to their knees. And she's done it with such grace and dignity that it surprises me not that you're a bit in awe of her Pea... 😃 ...As most of us are...Fantastic interview!...By the way, those words that you think you're mispronouncing? That's your Spanish legacy coming through. If you were speaking those same words in Spanish (with acentos and tildes) they would be correct...JSYK... 😉
Amazing story leaving home at such a early stage, and doing what you have to do to survive and eventually being quite sucessful in life. Awesome interview
Waiting for part two - again :) And you did it again. Making an interview sounding more like friends just having a nice time together. And it seem like you have a lot in common, not the least that the outside beauty is more than matched with what is inside 😍 May tuesday come quick 🏃♀
Having left home at15 and working through life avoiding the poor me scenario It is great to hear the two of you . Should be put into the early school learning for life program. Once again you have impressed me. Cheers Pete
Great interview, Pea, with a great woman of substance. The two of you have a lot in common. Hard work pays off, both of you have proved that. To leave the country at 19 takes a lot of guts, starting a company at 17 or 18 - Wow! I'm looking forward to Part 2.
Pea, You are becoming Edward R. Murrow! I cannot offer you enough praise for your productions. Yesterday was our Thanksgiving holiday .This interview certainly puts life into a new perspective. You are amazing. As for your guest, Marisol, I am as enamored as you are.
I think I leaned as much or more about you Pea as Marisol. It's a great story and both of you are wonderful success stories. Never give up, continue to try and improve yourself and good things will follow. P.S. I love the way Filipinos pronounce comfortable. Also most Americans don't know grammar either.
wow , I'm impressed, she is a great catch ! I'm a foreigner from Canada and respect her determination and work ethic and seems so elegant! Wish I could meet someone like her !?
I am from the United States and come from a working class background (father was a carpenter). However, I was absolutely stunned to hear you both talk about your childhoods and the enormous responsibilities that you both had growing up. I left home before 18 but I am shocked to hear this story of leaving home at such a young age. As I hear this, I am mentally comparing you 2 women to western women. Here is my open question. Is your background similar to other Filipina women? If it is, could this go a long way of explaining the incredible difference in how Filipina women and western women view older foreign men? Western women essentially see older males as throw aways, that they have no value. Filipina women, on the other hand, value older males more than younger men. There are no western women I have ever come in contact that would even remotely come close to either of you in background.
What a wonderful interview! I loved the way you self disclosed in a safe way, and essentially exchanged libraries of information between yourselves! This added a sense of genuine truth being expressed and me very eager for More ❤️ This interview brought out aspects of survival that Filipinas and Filipinos go through to just be able to live, that westerners are totally unaware of. Marisol is indeed a beautiful woman, as are you Pea, and I believe the next portion of this video will be very much of a impact for the audience. Westerners should be aware that the cute and young Filipina that they have their eyes on, may have been through far more life than the westerners could even conceived of. Until the next video!
Wow what a story! I am glad she survive to tell the story. Many Filipinos need to be careful dealing with Westerners, and making sure that they have good character and good family structure because you’re taking a major risk, moving all around the world in the waiting arms of a possible monster. I have a Filipina girlfriend and I am glad we found each other.
Many _Westerners_ need to be careful dealing with Westerners. The social and ethical mores we took for granted growing up have disintegrated to the point where I don't know _who_ to trust, and have lost an ability to size people up before risking any type of intimate friendship or relationship.
So your comment if one does not have good family structure, men are not a good choice with your comment "making sure that they have good character and good family structure". That is sad you would feel this way as I am a product of a broken home, put myself through college, started a company and lead a good ethical life. I put everything into my mate with love, caring, attention as I do not have it from my abusive family. I enjoy supporting my mate and treating her well, so I would respectfully get you to reconsider your comment as children we do not have a choice of family dynamics, so family structure is moot as we age and it is all bout, as you said, good character alone.
That's exactly what I say to people about dogs. First you build trust and respect, then comes love. I deal with a lot of dogs that have been abused or neglected and they often have difficulty trusting new people... but people are always in a rush. They want the dog to like them so they push to far too soon. They want the dog to wiggle and wag when they see them because it makes the people feel good about themselves. However if a person tries too hard with a dog the dog will have a much harder time trusting them and it will take much longer or may never happen at all. Show them that you respect the way they feel. Be someone that they want to get behind and follow, and they will come to you in their own time. At times you have to show them that you can handle them at their worst and if you do this in a calm loving manner, they will build respect for you as well. It's very mutual and people are no different, except that animals are much better at listening to their instincts.
Off a cliff....off a bridge....off the cuff...and DEFINITELY off the beaten path. Maricel is fascinating: what motivated a girl from nowhere to do all the things she's done? And we learned some things about YOU in this process as well. Can't wait for the next installment - it's gonna be a part two Tuesday.
Listening to her amazing tale of survival and growth while appreciating her beauty, then learning that a fellow American attempted to murder her by horrifically throwing her off a bridge is beyond appalling.
Yeah, that guy shouldn't have done that. But most likely he did it because she was doing some whore activities. I would almost bet my net worth on it. Anytime a woman, especially a pretty woman starts talking about 'jealousy' - that's what it is. His course of action was obviously a foolish one - the Philippines is full of absolutely gorgeous women. Especially 15-20 years ago. Just choose the next one.
I had my own landscaping business in the 80's, and I worked for a lot of WWll vets who were still married some 40 yrs later and their stories with their wives was "love at first sight", some even pinay wifes, but that was a different world.
My goodness, what a first part. Also fascinating hearing about both your rise to where you are now. That determination you both have is inspiring. As for the foundation Trust, Respect I'd communication to that as well. I was hoping for a long play as absolutely capitivating story, you could almost imagine a holywood blockbuster being made. Tuesday cannot arrive soon enough 🙂

Thanks, Kranz! We felt like long-lost sisters ❤️👍
@@TheFilipinaPea and you looked like long lost sisters.
Her name is Maricel
I cannot wait for part 2
Another amazing interview, Pea! Balance between getting her talking and stepping back to let her tell the tale.
We got along so well 😊👍
She is objectively beautiful, not a clickbait title👌
Thanks Jan! i try to avoid clickbait 👍
2 Gorgeous, determined and Intelligent young ladies!
Wow...what an amazing story. Also...the Pea's reference to Frank Abagnale...unbelievable!
What a story! You both show what it takes to have a good life in a country like The Philippines; even if us westerners can't relate. Can't wait for part 2. PS: Marisol is stunning.
Maricel is beautiful and the fact that she struggled and came up from there is a wonderful thing. ❤️
She kind of reminds me of my wife--very classic Filipina beauty. My wife also graduated college and was working as an executive assistant by age 19. You're right about the English issues--Filipinos are afraid of being teased by their peers even when their English is pretty good.
Yes, exactly - fear of being teased 😢
She’s amazing
I have to go to see this place for myself...
(how do you know she’s married?) 😊
@@TheFilipinaPea I'm very observant and I saw the ring on the third finger of her left hand. If I am wrong I'll admit it and eat crow, but I'm confident that I'm correct.
@@TheFilipinaPea I have to believe she's married cuz if I knew a gem like her was on the open market I'd be so flustered. Her being married is my out.
@@clydeallen8681 middle finger? That's a designer piece if on middle finger
@@TheFilipinaPea
I noticed the ring too.
Wow! Good for her. You did basically the same thing Pea. You both used your strong determination, intelligence and worked hard and became successful.
We do have a bit in common 👍😊
@@TheFilipinaPea Definitely
@@TheFilipinaPea You both have great chemistry and back stories. Now will she take part in one of your 'outros' at the end of your interview. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💋💋
Good interview, very interesting. Two beautiful ladies.
Filipina's are "True Homesteaders" I enjoyed both of your back stories I want a province girl. Cheers from the US!
No shame, you two are the best english speakers I have come across anywhere!!!
Wow, thanks Roy!!
Maricel’s story is amazing!
Thank you Filipina Pea for your continuous great content and giving a voice to those people who aren’t always heard!
😊
Wow! Truth really is stranger than fiction! This lovely woman should write a book about her life story!
Thanks, Pea for an exciting interview! :)
Yes, she could make a movie! 👍
There are a number of parallels between Marisol's story and my late wife's (minus, perhaps, the murder attempt. My wife was almost killed before we dated but in her case it was just a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time when one criminal was shot by another right in front of her.)
This, is why you are the GOAT of filipina vloggers. What a story! Keep up the exceptional work.
I will be waiting for Tuesday. You are right- she is amazingly gorgeous. The best thing about her- it has not gone to her head.
Amazing Story so far cannot wait to hear the rest. Jealousy is an awful thing to experience. A lot of jealous women will say its love but it's more about insecurity and always ends up ruining what could have been a great relationship.
Two beautiful women telling their interesting stories. I love it
Yes, we tell quite a bit of juicy gossip 😆
Salamat Po!
Glad you liked the ending 😆👍
@@TheFilipinaPea Of course!
What an incredible story your wife has. It should be a movie!
VERY INSPIRING! MUCH LOVE AND RSPECT LADIES! GOD BLESS!
Amazing story
Be happy you two 👍❤️❤️❤️👍
Pea specializes in cliff hangers for sure.
The new skit at the end was "out of this world".
This has to be one of your best interviews yet.
Staying up late or going horizontal!
More of a bridge hanger
Yes, this one was a literal cliffhanger (or bridge-hanger) 😆
I would never ever say she's the most beautiful Filipina. Everyone is so beautiful in their own way💝
Great job and very beautiful ladies
Very interesting story about her life. Look forward to part 2
Thank you Pea. The chemistry between you to is exceptional. Looking forward to part two. So far the real gems of the conversation are, independence, drive, respect and trust. Who wouldn't love both of you? Peace
AGREED 👍 👍 👍
💕 💕 💕 ur skit endings D. Everyone so far, some actually made me laugh. Ms.Pea.
Trust, respect, love, the formula for a successful relationship. These two girls are teaching me and I am 81. That's life.
OMG, what a story Pea, I’m totally in shock. Thanks to you and Maricel for sharing this story ❤
Amazing story! Thank you Pea
I’m speechless 😮 wowwwww 😮
I see a budding, life long friendship developing between you. So much mutual respect and similar backgrounds. Congrats to the both of you for overcoming poverty.
What a joy and priviledge to hear your stories. It gives me so much more respect for you and what you have done to become successful. Im sorry I skip some of your adds because the stories were so good!
👍👍👍❤️
Excellent interview and what a great success story.
A story, not an interview. Pea interrupts to often to interject her own tale for it to be an interview.
Yikes!!! I just saw this interview… so real, so true. Amazing.
I always try to catch all your TH-cam videos, love your topics, comments, advice, criticisms and the messages you express in them. This interview was heat stopping! I wish all the best to your guest. For you, my friend, keep on doing what you have been doing! Good journey! - THANKS.
Thanks IC 👍❤️❤️❤️
Amazing video Pea! Both of you should be very proud of the progress you've both made.
Interesting about the pronunciations, Bart 😳👍
Great assessment Bart!
What a beautiful and inspiring conversation of resilience, determination, ambition and hope.A great education for those less fortunate.
Hahahahaha I promise it’s worth the wait 👍
Having left home at15 and working through life avoiding the poor me scenario It is great to hear the two of you . Should be put into the early school learning for life program. Once again you have impressed me. Cheers Pete
Thanks so much for that, Pete! 👍❤️
Great interview, Pea, with a great woman of substance. The two of you have a lot in common. Hard work pays off, both of you have proved that. To leave the country at 19 takes a lot of guts, starting a company at 17 or 18 - Wow! I'm looking forward to Part 2.
Well the most beautiful Filippine woman is the one that is Honest, true and loyale. And you fit well in that picture. Stay Well and Positive.
Refreshingly authentic, congratulations you two.
Pea, You are becoming Edward R. Murrow! I cannot offer you enough praise for your productions. Yesterday was our Thanksgiving holiday .This interview certainly puts life into a new perspective. You are amazing. As for your guest, Marisol, I am as enamored as you are.
❤️❤️❤️
I think I leaned as much or more about you Pea as Marisol. It's a great story and both of you are wonderful success stories. Never give up, continue to try and improve yourself and good things will follow. P.S. I love the way Filipinos pronounce comfortable. Also most Americans don't know grammar either.
Good evening Pea. Let's get this going.
You’re always top three lately, Ron 👍🏆🏆
fabulous story
wow , I'm impressed, she is a great catch !
Yes, life can be Very tough here. Very
Wow what a story!
Wow I was amazed on her story
Part two in 22 hours 👍😊
I agree. She is stunning.
Hey Ed I didn't know you are watching the Pea ! So you are taking my advice to get a good Filipina woman ?
And an amazing part two is coming, yes 👍😊
So beautiful, so intelligent and articulate which for me is a turn on.
Thanks for the information, Philippina Pea !!!❤❤❤
I had my own landscaping business in the 80's, and I worked for a lot of WWll vets who were still married some 40 yrs later and their stories with their wives was "love at first sight", some even pinay wifes, but that was a different world.
Now there is a woman that is a role model for young girls ! ✝📿, prayers for her ☦
👍👍👍
My goodness, what a first part. Also fascinating hearing about both your rise to where you are now. That determination you both have is inspiring.
As for the foundation Trust, Respect I'd communication to that as well.
I was hoping for a long play as absolutely capitivating story, you could almost imagine a holywood blockbuster being made.
Tuesday cannot arrive soon enough 🙂
You’ll love part 2 👍👍👍
I see two most beautiful Filipinas!!!🦋👣
