- Video detailing the step by step process of installing a set of Tough Stuff 000061 rocker panel protectors along with a set of EAG flat style fender flares on my 2005 TJ Jeep Wrangler. They are 5 1/2" wide and provide the extra coverage needed to cover my larger 31" tires on aftermarket wheels with a different offset. Leave a comment below. Please like and subscribe. Thanks!

Have the same flares on my TJ , a good tip is to rubberized undercoat the inside of the flares !!! Stones picked up by the tires will absolutely crack them , take it from experience lol , otherwise they are a nice upgrade from the stock ones
Great looking tj. Nice video
How do you get the three nutserts out that hold the little flare on so it sits flush?
The best thing to do is to reuse the nutserts
what kind of tires and rims are those?
How are the flares holding up? I’m trying to decide if the Bushwackers or Barricade are worth the money. Your flare removal video was a life saver!
+Matt Warden Flares are working great
You can get the same ones off amazon cheap
Subscribed! I have been looking at these. I am restoring a TJ on my channel and want to put flat flares on. The Barricades are way over priced! How are these holding up and how is the quality of the plastic? Great videos, Thanks!
They held up great. I sold the Jeep though and no longer have it.
what size push pins ? love the two videos, really helped me out.
+Joe L i just bought a pack with various sizes and used the ones that fit
What was the offset on your wheels? And how have the flares held up so far?
Did the new flares reduce the amount of rocks hitting the driver and passenger windows? A lot of gravel roads where I live, need to invest in wider flares for mine.
Yes. Thats why i got them. I live on a dirt road and needed a flare that actually prevented mud and gravel from being thrown all over the side of the Jeep. These just covered my 31 inch tires perfectly
Jack of All Master of None Thank you, will be placing an order soon. Just picked up a white 2000 TJ Sport 4.0 last week. Going to be doing some mods in the near future.
Enjoy
was that item 17192? thank you.your jeep looks great
Looks like the exact same thing yes
How wide are the wheels and tires ?
What size tires are you running? I'm planning on going with flat style flares as well but I'm running 31" BFG KO2s and I don't want it to look stupid ha
Nevermind just saw you're running 31s as well ha looks good, thanks for the video!
How about a video of how to remove Jeep doors I have the same Jeep but having trouble removing the doors please and thanks
Sorry just sold the Jeep. I did have a hell of a time getting mine off too. I had to use a bottle jack and a padded 2x4. And on the drivers side i had to unbolt the lower hinge from the body and completely replace it. Besides that i used alot of PB blaster and a sledge hammer carefully
how is that rocker protection??? looks like wall paper to me???
It worked ok until I sold the Jeep. More for looks. It would protect against rocks but nothing else.
Nice
where did you get flares at ? need some for my 05 Tj Wrangler

@@allanwagner4570 I’m get them and bedline it
