IMHO the push button system is cooler than the punchcard one.

I agree! No need to ever have to source consumables like punch card stock, tools and all the other little clippy bits that go along with the punch card systems. No need to accurately punch gazillions of holes.

Hi Charlie, I have one of these machines and this L shaped piece has come out of the lever/ bar pushing mechanism it sort of just slots in. It came out when I took it apart to clean and I just can’t figure out how it goes back! Do you have a video on this by chance? 😅

I have a kh-610 and my 7and 8 buttons don't work. There wire trays to go sideways inside of more nice like the others and same as your video. It was in a very bad dirty state when I got it. But otherwise works like a dream now. Please help

My wife has just acquired a Brother KH-561 and we can't find anything on it! Does it work similar to this one? Also any other info you may have would be great!

Alright but what about the needles that are out of work, how do they get skipped from the pushing mechanism?

How does it NOT move the needles in the far back position forward?

The needles have got a little link in them which means they sit slightly higher up when not in working position, and miss the "battlements".
