Debating over a C6 or a C5, the C5 looks the most menacing and tamed in terms of design. It’s a timeless design, also it weighs slightly less than the C6 (about 50 lbs) the platform is supported, but then comes the interior aspect. It’ll be a hard choice for me to make, I want to go with the older one though! Great video! Did not see many videos of this model Corvette having awesome sounding cam setups!

The interior is deff cheap but I love the way it looks overall. I have a two tone black and light grey and I love it. Have a carbon fiber and alcantara steering wheel, mgw short shifter and just waiting on the vettenutz bezel to install a double din nav front/rear cams! My car also has the blue tinted targa

Hey man! Nice to finally join in on the fun into the car world I’m just starting to get my feet wet with the auto stuff but I have a 2000 4spd auto can I still do the cam/tube and headers and cat delete with the auto n still have it sound as mean as your manual?
You could definitely do these same mods for the same results. But with this specific cam you would need a bigger stall converter than the stock one found in your automatic

Nothing done to heads or valvetrain? I wana see the dyno. I have a 2000, basically going the same as you 4-2-1, catless xpipe, mufflerless exhaust, already done double chain, light pulleys, balancer, etc...
Agreed on the interior. “Who really cares about the interior when their rippin?” Exactly! I’m a big dude and stock sport seats have done me well. Just refoam and re-skin if the old ones are shot. These seats you’ve got are like a child’s high chair for me.
I've never seen those seats in a c5 before🤔 what kind of brackets did you have to use and was there any fiment issues with the seats being too big? Beautiful c5 by the way!🫡🙌
@@brilliantpebbles24 I used brackets off ebay with sliders from a random website. Had to modify both the NRG brackets and Ebay brackets by drilling some new holes and notching a few places. No fitment issues though. There is no way you could fit the stock seat belt buckle though, it's a real snug fit!
always interested in anything C5 corvette, but not a fan of removing smog controls, given the realities of a deteriorating climate. Plus it violates the unenforced federal laws banning any change in such equipment, and the laws in my home state, so another reason not a fan. If you want to go fast, spend the money. Everyone knows speed costs money, and you can buy street legal horsepower all day long. If you don't have the money, break the law, either with your car or with robbery to afford to go fast, just depends on your values. I don't put myself out as a perfect citizen , but there comes a time when you have to put childish things away and assume adult responsibilities. Polluting the only life sustaining fresh air and water you will ever have is not "freedom", it is being brainwashed to support corporate greed at the expense of your own future. Personally I wouldn't have invested in a 99 in the first place, given the unique vonerability of 99 ebcm parts, much less dumped a bunch of money into the thing. Jus shows it take all kinds of people to make a world.
Noone gives a shit what you think. I used to delete emissions equipment on diesel trucks, was legal, and trucks ran better. Hundreds of deleted diesel pickups trucks put there rolling coal. How does that make you feel? 😂

Yeah this was installed and tuned with factory air box and intake. Cold air intake is not necessary

Right on man! Stock heads, new dual valve springs and pushrods. Also trunnion bearing upgrade on rockers
