Hi guys! Thank You for watching! My favorite winter working gloves(Amazon affiliate link): amzn.to/46VE2nb Don’t forget to like, comment, subscribe and check out my other videos🙌
Now THAT is a snowfall fit for a snowblower. Excellent!
If Honda doesn't sponsor this guy, they missed the best advertising op in the world
Dear lord is that a lot of snow. Thank goodness you have a Honda.
Yes, that Honda has saved me so many times!!
My little 15 year old Honda blows like new, but the rubber augers are sort of a consumable.
That Honda is a beast.
Holy hell that's a beast of a machine.
Well it'll set you back $10500 so I should hope so
That’s what I call snow!! You definitely have the right equipment, you probably wish the Honda snowblower was a tad bigger. It definitely gets the job done. If we had snow like this in USA 90% of the people would panic & not be prepared. 5% would struggle & barely make it, the other 5% would survive.
Seeing that kinda snow in person is a beast, my hats off to you for handling it like champ!
Hi! Thanks for comment! Yes, got some real snowfalls for sure this season! Fun experience when you have a Honda!
With snow that deep you may want to buy a set of drift cutters for that blower. They help a lot in those conditions. That will help to keep the sides from collapsing (see at 8:45).
Damn. Honda have "some" power 😎
One great thing about tracks on a snowblower is that they will back up the steps to a deck, save lots of shoveling
What a beast of a snowblower!
What a fun day with the snowblower! I would love to have storms like that to clean up every once in a while during the winter here in NB, Canada.. we don’t get to many of them really! Anyways awesome camera angles an thanks for taking us along! Cheers! Andrew from NB, Canada :) 🇨🇦
Thank you for the comment! Yes it is fun a couple of times, but the big challenge isn’t the amounts of snow, but the wind! Once you have cleared all the snow and drifts, it’s only a matter of hours before you have to go another round!!
That machine is a beast and it certainly looks like something that size is needed there in your area. New subscriber here. Great video
Thanks bud!
There is a bigger one on the tractor.
Fantastic piece of kit.
& very we'll handled
On top of the 4 feet of snow, you probably only have 4 hours of daylight to work with in Norway. Kudos for your hard work. This is now my favorite snowblowing vid on YT.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate comments like this😊
Great slow mo shots. Most exciting snowblower video with the music pumpping. From Montreal Canada " good job ".
Thanks! 😊
Kind hearted man who avoids trees even when flying snow! NICE!
Hi! Thanks for your nice comment☺️ Honda is the most popular brand of snowblowers in Norway. Top quality, and products that works in tough conditions 🥶☃️
That thing is a beast!
Yes, I upgraded from the Honda HSS970. This thing is at another level! Has the weight and power. And so cool to run with all the controls and joysticks!😀
Very nice Honda snow blower
Nice machine, and amazing property too!
That's a ton of snow we barely got any snow hear in Michigan and had a tornado touch down last week in February
Nothing like a Honda for snow blowers
Yes, they are really good. A machine you can trust in conditions like this!
Super👍👍👍
Love my 928 Honda, got it for more than 16 years now. This thing don’t want to die, I’ll eat kids sled , I’ll eat hockey stick, one time running with no oil for a moment never had any issues. There’s shear pins everywhere to prevent damage. Only problem with the time it’s inside spinner paint. It’s all gone and snow freeze on it when slushy. I’ll think I’m good for another 10 years without a doubt.
Good to hear! The Honda in the video is about 12 years old, still runs like a new machine! You can paint the impeller housing and chute. I did it to mine. I used industrial epoxy paint, much stronger than regular paint. And lasts longer.
That honda looks like it was expensive to buy, but the way it performs it seems its worth it. And I can see why you need such a machine.
Yes, it is expensive. But it is one of the best blowers, and built to last. And these machines keeps their value if you take care of it.
$10k USD+ tax 😂
For the record I like the music and I think you did a great job making and editing this video and that snow blower is incredible!
Thanks!!
Amazing footage and edit. "When farmer is a former hollywood producer"
Thanks!
Essential equipment in your neck of the woods!
Now that was impressive. It makes my Toro Power Max HD 1128 OXE look like a toy, and it's a powerhouse in it's own right.
Very nice machine and demonstration, Music is cool but much too loud in the mix. Thanks for sharing.
Hi! I usually get a lot more views on my videos when I use trending music from Epidemic sound. A lot of the video is without music as well, so you can hear the machine sounds from every angles. It is very difficult to find music that everyone enjoys and matches with the video content, actually the hardest part about video editing. I think the majority of the viewers thinks it’s cooler to watch with some music. I’m just trying to make some cool, interesting, informative and entertaining videos!
Haha
I complain about 6 inches of snow.
Great video.
I would be using that enclosed tractor with the end loader for the open areas. Very impressive snow blower.
I have a separate video of the tractor on my channel.
Try it in Buffalo New York after a lake effect snow storm ... usually 6 feet . - 28 C .
That would be fun! And probably a cold experience, especially if it is headwind 🥶
@@InTheVise Yes . Take Care
You need to get the "Cold Avenger" face mask setup with balaclava and breath warmer. I wouldn't use a snowblower without one!!!
I got tired of freezing my face! I have an Arens Deluxe 28 with chains and a 10-pound weight under the bucket. It will eat anything! It will do anything your Honda can do and for less money!
At least its soft dry snow and not the heavy wet one.
Great video! Where in Norway have you bought that gas tank? I have not been able to find such a nice tank in the major part of Oslo/Viken
Thanks! It is called Birchmeier Rapidon 6. I bought it at Felleskjøpet in Norway. But check online as well!
Thank you! @@InTheVise
I’m thinking that loader in the background would be my choice
Hi! I have a separate video about the tractor on my channel!
As previously mentioned below.
It'll be easier, more efficient were you utilize the provision(s) for two
ridge cutters on the sides of the snowblower's auger housing/infeed.
Hi, thank you for the comment! Usually we don’t get this much snow over the night. And you would have to drive over a couple of times anyway with or without the cutters. This Honda model has the weight and power to run through drifts like in the video with no problem. I upgraded to this from the Honda HSS970 (928), and this one is at another level. Like a tank!
@InTheVise
Thank you very much for your reply.
I'm in Kamloops, British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦.
Later today we're forecast for a significant dump of snow ❄️.
I refer to as that "White Blight".
Myself, I've had a 24 inch Troy Bilt, 3 stage (which has an additional impeller auger at the front ahead of the horizontal augers), but this model is not available anymore.
It's barely adequate, especially trying to push through a plow berm.
I've always longed for a Honda Trac Drive Hydrostatic, but with what they co$t, I'll need to win a lottery.......
This is some serious snow. When you have a 13HP machine and its laboring you know you've got serious weather going on. I'd go so far to say if there a step up or two you might want to trade it in. Its doing it but you could easily use a bigger one with a 16hp or even a twin cylinder machine.
Yes, it could be bigger. But usually we don’t get snowfalls like this over the night, like in this storm.
👍👍👍
I need one of these for no reason which is why most of us buy stuff to begin with.
You want be disappointed with this one!
That needs a set of drift cutters on er, great work though!
Yes maybe! But I think I would have to go over twice anyway!
We use an ultrasonic melter from Huawei. Just came out this year. So much better and faster than snow plows or snow blowers.
Solid
First thing you learn with a snowblower is, you always blow with the wind!
Well yes, it’s easy with this fluffy snow. But what about the same height of heavy humid snow like we have here in Canada ?
Believe me, we get some heavy snow here as well!
Have a very similar Honda snow blower, as well as a Cub Cadet. Plus Toros.Recently had about 12" of very heavy, wet snow in Northern Illinois. They all sucked.
How many acres is your property?
Cool gas can.
Yes, good gas can, but only 6 liters capacity.
Absolutely a beast! But I think it would be cheaper to move…
😂😂
😊
I sold Honda snowblowers for 15 years and never had this model in stock nor ever sold one.. We just dont get snow like this... Now I see why its so expensive and worth every penny..
Yes, on days like this, that Honda is a lifesaver!!😀👍 I used it everyday in the first two weeks of 2024. Endless amounts of snow.
What happens when that all melts ? Where does the water go ?
Some of it evaporates and the rest ends up in the ocean. It’s usually no problem unless you get a dramatic rise in temperature and a lot of rain. (Which by the way is the forecast for upcoming week😳)
That's a $10k USD snowblower 😂
Too much money $$$$$
@@sylvainlaurence1554 Yep
You think the Honda hss1332atd could have handled this?
I’m sure it could make it through snow like this. But the big advantage with the hybrid is the heavy weight.
Drift cutters?
Sounds like a good idea
I love your BIG BIG SNOW SHOVEL HA HA 😂,, all joking a side a electric snow plow COULD NOT DEAL WITH THAT MUCH SNOW , maybe for small things , l love snow & love this video
Thanks! Yes it would be so cool to test out some of the bigger electric snowblowers in conditions like this. And how long the batteries actually lasts in cold temperatures.
Seems the Honda is the dingy to the big tractor!
You need both. The Honda has some advantages over the tractor because of its small size. And the tractor snowchains damages concrete/asphalt/stone pavement.
@@InTheVise I've had similar situations... with both snow removal and lawn mowing. Big machines for the open areas and small machines for the tight areas. They aren't interchangeable!
Maybe next time you could swing your hips. Get your dance on!! Enjoy the blow!! 😂
Nice machine though. Beautiful country👍
❤️🇦🇺
Great machine. Great video. Annoying music.
Please... no music !!
nemlig 🤣@@InTheVise
Hei
Har mer snø her på Tveit utenfor Kristiansand,
Må kjøpe en til neste år

Ugh. The music! Nobody watching these awesome machines wants to hear anything but the sound!

It is about $11k new.
Let’s see, using a walk behind 30” blower or a 60” blower with an enclosed (and probably heated) tractor cab when it is only 8C outside and there’s about 1 meter of snow. Let’s pick the smaller walk behind so you can make a video clip!!!
You can’t drive a big tractor everywhere. It needs a lot of space when you have a front loader and snowblower. And the chains destroys nice looking surfaces.

The music sucks.
can you please put the music louder and put more music!
More music, @slapshot needs it
Try electric propulsion in those conditions....
Hi! It is actually electric drivetrain on this blower, 24V DC. That’s why it’s called hybrid! So you can say it has electric propulsion. Although I know you meant these mini Ego and Ryobi blowers. I just call them spatula (like a silicone spatula)🤣😂
@@InTheViseI know but it is not a battery that provides electricity but an alternator moved by the gasoline engine
@@ExcelStrategy yes, it has a big alternator and two 12V batteries in series.
Great job with the Honda, but why would you use the small snow blower when the tractor mounted blower moves 2-3 times as much snow? Plus the cab is enclosed and probably heated. The chute freezing is a common problem. A couple a shots with WD-40 will usually melt the ice and lubricate the gear.
A tractor with a snowblower and front loader need som space. Of course You can’t drive everywhere with the big tractor. And the chains will destroy stamped concrete, tiles and so on. Especially when you got this much of heavy snow, it is impossible to not spin the tires at some point.
video would be 1000x better without the music. If we wanted music, we would be searching music videos, not snow blowers.
to people who would like this type of content, the best music in the world is the sound of an engine.

I understand you feel you need music but please turn it down. Trying to hear you and then blast! Music.. I'm constantly turning sound up and down... it really distracts from the video in my opinion.
Will try that in the next video!😀
And people want to get rid of gas engines, let them shovel the snow by hand
I have a separate video of the tractor! You can’t run a tractor everywhere, and the snow chains can really destroy newly paved or bricks surfaces. It needs some space as well when turning and so on!
No other brand snowblower could do this. I own a Honda and know. All other brands are junk.
It is some other good brands as well, Yamaha and Yanmar for example. Maybe the biggest models of Ariens as well? But I stick to Honda myself😀 A lot of professional Honda dealers in my area if I ever need parts quick. It can be a nightmare to get parts from some of the other brands here in Norway.
@@InTheVise we don’t have Yamaha or Yanmar snowblowers in America. If someone wanted a Yamaha that bad they could buy one in Canada. The rest of the brands including Ariens are owned by MTD, they take good brands and ruin them for profit. In the USA, Honda is the only brand with strict quality control and reliable reputation. MTD anything is garbage.
Agreed MTD takes good names like Cub Cadet and makes them average, but Ariens is still family owned.
@@Mikel9999-vh3cb have you ever taken a modern MTD engine apart? Do it, it’s educational. Everything that you think should be a metal part, is plastic. No joke!
@@Mikel9999-vh3cb I assumed Ariens was owned by MTD, I saw some Ariens lawn mowers in Home Depot with MTD engines.
