It's cute to watch this with kids, to hear them laugh. Mine had a blast.
I liked the 2nd and "Minions". But I agree with you, how many interesting villain-variants can they create? Also, I think Gru's family and ex-villainous lives will always end up clashing. I had a few LOL but it was mostly bland.
Kids do seem to be having a good time with this one and I can see why! I expected a lot worse! I wonder how many more they’ll make? 😂 thanks for watching!
Well, I didn’t expect that at all. I’m taking my son and a couple of his friends to see this one this week. Hopefully it won’t be as bad as I was expecting.

Yeah it was just ok. The villain his reasoning for getting to gru was so petty though. There were other side plots to that felt they could do for a series rather then stuffing all those stories into a 90 min movie.

@@IMOReviews If I were a kid, I would've enjoyed it fine (I guess). I tolerate the first two Despicable movies, though.
I feel like the villain was the best part of the movie, but there were plots that were unnecessary (AHEM Poppy AHEM).
I feel like the villain should’ve had more potential and more violent. I feel like the cockroach aspect was terrifying when you think about it
(how he’s a hybrid and wanting to kidnap gru’s baby to turn him into some cockroach mindless slave)
