      Honestly that would be broken, this would basically be electrumite but you directly set it making it instantly live. Now would that be better than electrumite? Doubtful, but,itstill would be a generic link 2 search any card in your deck at any point you need to do so. For example if you are missing a combo piece just go union carrier and search it.

    An interesting thing to point out with the Evil Twin thing that you can take advantage of the same is true when resolving the Live Twins. Thus, if your opponent chains to a Live Twin summoning from deck, you can chain Droplet, send the Twin you activated and the other twin will be the only monster you control. It's a neat way to still make plays when facing negates.

    Question on a ruling: Person A attempts to activate thunder dragon fusion and person B chains to activation joyous melffys effect to bounce self and special summon 2 level 2 or lower beast from graveyard (since it had 2 material), including melffy puppy. On a new chain, after both summons resolve, person B attempts to activate melffy puppy effect to the summon of thunder dragon titan but our judge ruled it as an illegal play. Somehow related to the Evil twins ruling. Does phantom kinghts of rusty bardiche destroy effect triggers if you for example, activate rank-up magic shoul shave force targeting raidraptor force strix, and when summoned from the gy, i summon it on a zone bardiche points to, but i overlay cyber dragon infinity in a different MMZ that bardiche doesnt points to.
    EDOPro and other simulators allow me to activate bardiche there. Is it correct? And if it is, whats the reason? Whats the difference between this and the evil twins ruling?

However I think it will be a good topic to point out for the next episode the fact that you are not allowed to fusion summon specifically Chimeratech Fortress Dragon using your set CD core.(via contact fusion,considering your face-down core and a machine-type monster your opponent controls are the only cyber dragon monsters on field)

    I have a question about a situation that comes up in my infernoble deck. If I have DDR equipped to for example my Immortal Phoenix gearfried and the DDR leaves the field, but the gearfried is indestructible because it's equipped by Infernoble Knight Ogier, does the Gearfried stay on field? And does is make a difference if the monster is indestructible by its own effect or like in this example by another card? And does it make a difference how DDR leaves the field, for example by an opponents MST or by Gearfrieds own effect to negate?

    Ruling question.
    In a hypothetical, can Subterror Guru’s book of moon effect become a quick effect when the subterror trap final battle is activated
    For hypothetical example let suppose that the guru player has guru face up, a subterror face down, and final battle set. On the opponents turn is it legal for the opponent to normal summon a monster, then on the summon, the guru player activated final battle as CL1 to flip the face down subterror face up and Cl2 activate guru’s effect to flip itself and the opponents normal summon face down

Cost is alwayd paid at activation of a card then you do the effect, if you cannot pay the cost you cannot activate the card at all and you cannot refund the cost if the card failed to resolve properly (such as negated or have its activation negated), and as far as in game, destroy is NOT cost

    The Evil Twin Ruling is wrong.
    As you stated on the eff of Bardish, its a Condition to have the other Monster on the Field . So as long the Condition to activate is met during the Summon, you can activate the eff. Also the correct text is "If this card is Special Summoned AND YOU control a "Ki-sikil" monster" and not "while you control a kisikil monster. It checks imerdently on the Summon.

    • @spatackus7971
      @spatackus7971 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The same Ruling is applied on the LiveTwin part. For example: chl1 Golden Lord Chl2 live Twin Home. The Live twins monster is summoned first, so its succesfully summoned and the condition to activate its effect "to be summoned and to not control a monster" is met, so evem after the chainlinks resolve and you control now 2 Monster, you can still activate the eff of the livetwin because the conditon already applied.

    Going off of the Super Poly ruling: Theoretically, if there was a fusion monster that could use any monster as its fusion material, would you then be able to use an opponent's face down monsters as material as the fact they are monsters at least would be public knowledge?

      The answer is NO, except there is exist a fusion monster that specified 2 set monster but however you can use your face-down monster as Superpoly target; so you can only use face-up monster your opponent control as material
      Say UCT the opponent's monster and both of you and opponent know those booked monster, u cannot activate superpoly cause u can only use face-up monster opponent control as target

    Here's a very interesting Lunalight ruling scenario that I previously thought was bugged in Duel Links (I think Duel Links and EDO Pro agree now on this, dunno how it happened). Why do the following scenarios turn out in these ways? My guess is that Cat Dancer has a lingering effect.
    Lunalight Cat Dancer has tributed a Lunalight monster so that it can attack every monster on the opponent's field, and the opponent's field contains Samurai Destroyer with *0 ATK*, plus any 1 other monster next to it (pretend this other monster has no relevant effect). Cat Dancer says it will not destroy a monster by battle the first time it attacks into it, as well.
    1. Cat Dancer attacks into the 0 ATK Samurai Destroyer first and beats over it twice, and DOES destroy it by battle, AND it can still proceed to attack into the other monster despite being negated by Samurai Destroyer until the end of the Battle Phase. [according to EDO Pro programming]
    2. Cat Dancer attacks into the OTHER monster first and beats over it twice to destroy it by battle, THEN attacks into Samurai Destroyer, but its attack still does not stop, and it still manages to attack twice more and then destroy Samurai Destroyer by battle. [according to EDO Pro programming]

      In case Coder doesn't see this, Balerdroch should check that the monster was a Zombie on activation (not on resolution), because it says "when a Zombie monster, except "Doomking Balerdroch", activates its effect". Cymbal Skeleton was a Zombie on activation, and it activates and resolves in the GY, while Effect Veiler was not a Zombie on activation, and it activates and resolves in the hand. So I would think that it can negate Cymbal Skeleton but not Effect Veiler.

    Let's say I have a Galaxy Eyes Cypher Dragon on the field equipped with Forbidden Lance. Can I still use Rank Up Magic Cypher Ascension since GECD is the cost of using it?

      @jofx4051 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use RUMCA but u cannot summon a monster with overlaying it via spell cause GECD is unaffected by spell, the same reason why you cannot Rank Up Ultimate Falcon with spell because it is unaffected by any card effects
      It is a tech in Duel Links when opponent attempt to use Invocation, Lance Aleister to fizzle it and same tech to avoid trap in DL

    not sure this counts as a ruling, but here goes nothing. I reveal 1 danger Bigfoot, and he gets special summoned. next I do the same with thunder bird, and special summon. I overlay them to make zombie stein. can I continue to reveal more dangers from my hand , and make further xyz monsters ?

      Amy particular reason why you think you can't? I think that would help to understand what your problem exactly is.

    I have another question concerning the Fusion summoning with face down monsters and opponents monsters.
    What about Chimeratech using a face down in the opponents EMZ? Chimeratech does not specify anything about the monster used in the EMZ, so it should work?

    • @sanik6411

      A face-down monster is still considered as a monster, it's the same with book of moon vs VW.

      @@sanik6411 Yes that is what I think, too. But I wanted to ask that nevertheless.

    I have a question, Pendulum face-up in the Extra Deck count for the effect of Extravangance?

      Extravagance says face-down cards in the Extra Deck, so no.
