Over here in Germany the 955i has 98 HP due to insurance classification. I bought mine in march 2002 and still love to run it. The original suspension is a bit soft, a change to Wilber’s makes this Maschine still more formidable.
i have a black 2001 Tiger 955i great bike that i wont be parting with (modified with 17" front wheel and wider rear rim for a 190 section so i can run sport bike tires) and yes plastic tank

These are so quietly awesome.
I've got a soft spot for Tigers. I'm certain I'll have another someday. The 955s and 1050s are pretty great!
