Dude loves them like I do. And I love the angles, as there's a real BIKE
Thank U for continuing to show us all the Amazing Bikes Baxter Cycles brings out👍Summer of 23 I stopped by there shop & Wow I could not believe what a Fantastic dealership they have also in such a rule area n Iowa.Even though I live n Ky I will b back hopefully b able to buy one of there custom bikes👍👍
450 RE is #1. Good tool kit, tire repair kit, Rhino bags or Mosko 🦎. Don't forget bug spray and mosquito net for camping. Water filter, firebox, jet boil, fog horn, bear spray, 1911, tp, wipes, army shovel, Garmin, Leatherman, matches, torch, 🔦, cigars, flask. Sounds like fun trip. I may follow on Transalp 😂
Wahoo!
Hi Fuzzy Biker, Have you considered Hippo Hands to keep your hands warm? How's the weather in Marne this time of year? Look's warm with the sun out but look's can be deceiving. Keep the videos coming 👍😎
Actually used a generic form of Hippo Hands the last 3 years. They worked very well. Wahoo!
thats proper shift pattern
Wahoo
All you need to know about cross country and especially Alaska is look at the bike brand you are riding and look for dealers all along the way..if there are none. Think about it..if you need a minor fix or part you don't want to be camping or in a motel waiting for UPS or FedEx.
We'll see how it goes.. Wahoo!
Those Moto Morinis are very interesting bikes. The 6 1/2 looks like it's ready to stir up some trouble! I hope they do well here in the US. Thank you for the video!
They sure are interesting!
Did the Alaska trip back in 95 on a 84 Honda V65 Sabre figured the shaft drive would leave 2 less things to worry about. 16 thousand miles 8 weeks. I was a lot younger back then don’t think I could do it now. Good luck to you safe journey.
Very nice!
TEC is already making a cat-delete 2-into-1 for the Interceptor that will increase HP, and even more torque than the OEM 2-into-1. An air box and filter and cam should get 55-58hp and 48+ ft-lb torque. The "re-tune" torque increase seems to be solely from the 2-into-1
Interesting. Thanks for the info.
Ok, so you describe the new exhaust as, 'not only they sound good a little more performance too'. I agree that exhaust sounded sweet! 🤔
It does add a bit of pep to the motor.
What wheels do you have on the bike? Normally the Alp X comes with 17 inch but it looks bigger.
normally 17 rear and 19 front, I laced up a 21 on the front.
The comment below is form the owner of this fabulous motorcycle.
Thanks!
Honestly, Fuzzy Biker, if I was riding to Alaska alone I would take the Classic 350 (and I have another choice here at home), but if I was riding to Alaska with others, I would STILL take the Classic 350 and tell the others, "You go on ahead without me." Thank you for the video. Wahoo!
We actually talked about the 350 being very capable for this trip. Only thing would be the 3000 mile valve check and oil change on an 8000 mile ride. Wahoo!
How did you get one already??? I don't care what anybody else says; that's the best colorway!
We got lucky!
Dos blumpkin das skeetin fap
Cant wait for more videos !!
Loads of fun. Wahoo!
My issue with the RE is that they are making the same bike with small differences with that engine. Their prices keep going up but still going cheap on parts that suck as the terrible shocks . For a little more money you could buy a triumph and not have to upgrade everything. This is a heavy bike is not meant for off-road or scrambling
They are testing a 750cc engine and will soon release new models next year.
@ hopefully upgrade parts and provide cruise control , traction control, torque assist clutch etc . Don’t mind paying for features they should have
You really need to get to a dealer and ride a Royal Enfield.
@@thefuzzybiker171 I have a super meteor
One of the original fun Triumphs :)
Beautiful machine!
Unitgarage makes a tall screen with a Naca duct that might work for you I’m waiting for a review
Thanks! I'll keep an eye out for that.
Who'd a thought a couple years ago where this journey would take you? What an awesome way to enjoy your retirement! You have done such an amazing job with your channel, your love for Royal Enfield motorcycles and of course, Baxter Cycle!
It has been a great deal of fun. I am very thankful for this opportunity. Wahoo!
I see they relocated the rectifier
I'll have to take your word for that. Wahoo!
I like the grab bar! I would want a luggage rack on it. But I would paint it the same green color!
Thanks!
Hi how do you find the rear suspension as I here it hard and a stiff ride.
It's a firm suspension that works very well. As the miles add up the suspension is getting better. I love the way the bike handles. Wahoo!
I'm going to be close to Marne in February. I think it will be on a Sunday, unfortunately, so I can't stop at Baxter Cycle, but I'm guessing that the Derailed will be open, so I plan to stop there. What the hell comprises a Wahoo! Burger? It sounds like there may be an ordeal involved. Love the Bear 650, by the way. Thank you for the video!
I think the Derailed Grill is open Sunday afternoons but I'd call to be sure. Wahoo! Burger is a beef patty with sautéed onions & jalopies topped with pepper jack cheese. I always add bacon to mine. Let me know what you find out. Wahoo!
My 2023 INT650 Owner's Manual calls for 10W50 full synthetic. Any reason to use 15W50 on the Super Meteor instead?
I think I use that because that was handy.
Can these mods be done when the bike is new or does it have to be broke in first
Some people do these mods right away.
@thefuzzybiker171 thank you sir
Always admired triples, absolutely a classic . Lovely sound.
Agreed!
Unreliable bikes that leaked oil.
Definitely leak oil
Bumming on winter here in Montana. Will be April at least before I can get in a ride. (if I'm lucky)
I understand that. Am trying to figure out how to get myself and a bike down south for a few. Wahoo!
We always referred to the Speed Triple as a hooligan machine.
That it is!
What an awesome eye opening experience, how good is the Royal Enfield experience! If you return to India, please please please include a ride / trip over the border into the fabulous Nepal. Write another chapter of your life in the dust of the mighty Himalayas!
Would love to visit Nepal. Wahoo!
Perfect bike to take down to the local coffee shop or park to show people where modern bikes came from. Definitely an antique but still a beautiful bike. Even with the primitive braking system. 👍👍
Right on!
G’day Mr.Fuzzy Bikerman. What a beautiful machine 🤩. I really believe the world should take a giant leap forward & start producing bikes like these again. All this so called progress in this modern world cannot produce anything near what was produced when this bike was new…. Except for the braking of course 🙄🤣🤣. Rubber side down mate. Hooroo for now 👍🏍😎
Have always wondered why the new bikes weigh so much more than the older bikes. Wahoo!
This guy is an idiot
Nice! Correct factory color name would be HI Fi Scarlet. Stainless Steel fenders. Correct brake would be TLS front for '68? My favorite bike! Smith Werk's nearby, lucky.
Gorgeous machine. Yes the front brake should be a Dual Leading Shoe. Wahoo!
Thanks for the ride Fuzzy. I love the pipes. Looks fun to ride once ya get used to the controls.
Wahoo! It's a blast!
Great looking bike. Pure, genuine and nothing fancy. Thanks for sharing.
Yep, I love it!
I learned to ride on my dad's 68 triumph trophy 250...same color...those old triumphs got class...thanks fuzzy for all your videos...
Love the old Triumphs!
I like the Royal Enfield line up except for this bike. I don't like the green frame.
It's an interesting look. Wahoo!
YSS rear shock makes bike look neat.
Agreed!
👍
Wahoo!
Back in 1968 we boarded sailors from the Great Lakes Naval Training Centre in Hamilton,Ont. One sailor from Halifax had a1968 Bonneville. Same as the one you've shown. At 14 years old, I was impressed. He asked me if i wanted to go for a ride. The helmet didn't even fit me but he just told me to put my arms around him and hang on tight. Right away he opened it up and wow. This 14 year old was hooked. He even rode the bike back to Halifax.
What a great story!
You're right about the 68 TLS front brake...made the 68 - 70 the most desirable bonnie.
Great bikes!
I was literally imagining how cool this kind of high scrambler exhaust on bear 650 would look, i also searched that anyone else did such modification but didn't find any,and here we go this got into my recommendation. Love from indian ❤
I think it looks pretty sweet too!
Its a great, enjoyable bike indeed.
Wahoo! It's a blast to ride!
Amazing woe
Wahoo!
will the footpeg setup fit on the interceptor?
We haven't tried that yet. If they do we'll do a video on it. Thanks!
Whats the price of that pipe? And is it available in India? Love from India ❤
Not sure. Contact Jeremy at Baxtercycle.com Thanks!
Man this thing is so cool. Love those pipes!! I’ve got a scrambler 1200 xe with Zard high pipes on it- LOVE that bike but I like the idea of customizing a bear with the teal frame. What a killer bike!
I agree, you're right, that teal frame is awesome!
@@thefuzzybiker171it’s making my wheels turn- how much could you tweak the power/weight ratio on one of these? OR, what about a 1200XE build where you replicate these colors and shed as much weight as poss? Hmmmmmmm!
Feel free to give ‘er the beans, Fuzzy! Love it😊
Wahoo!
