G’day mate, I am struggling to find the correct words after watching this video. I feel for you, & your family. It looks like a beautiful part if the world. Thank you for sharing this. Ride safe mate, take care. Hooroo for now 👍🏍😎
Thanks for that. It was a good day for a long bike ride. Wahoo!
This is the video that did it for me ! My choice has been made thanks
You're gonna love it!
Eu quero comprar futuramente esse escapamento.
Som muito bom!
I like that!
Great motorcycle!
Very nice, respects to your late Father.
Thank you very much
👌🏻 Beautiful!!! Nice colours and nice accesories!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Would you recommend this as a first bike? Would I outgrow it too soon?
ive got it as my first bike, im 6'2 and 85kg and it feels a tad small but that's literally it. absolutely perfect bike to start with. been riding for almost two years now. I definitely want another bike, but that's more so a craving for bikes, and not to do with the classic 350. If the classic 650 is announced, id definitely wait for that instead though, same styling but a bit more grunt? sign me up.
I would recommend it as a first bike. It's is very well behaved and predictable. Having said that, I do own one with 8,600 miles on it and I'm happy to tell you that it is one of my all time favorite motorcycles. So I would recommend it to anyone that wants a good all around fun motorcycle.
Turns on a dime an gives a nickel change!
Double wahoo!
That was a great video! I had to laugh at the level of fun you were having. By the way, I ordered some items from Baxter Cycle last week and I screwed up the order, so I called and talked to Cara (or Kara, maybe), and she got it all sorted out for me. After the call ended I realized that I didn't tell her that Fuzzy Biker sent me! Sorry about that, buddy. Please let her know. Thank you for the video.
Cara, with a C, is always great. Wahoo!
Wooow!!! Beautiful creation.
Thank you so much 😊
Yes mate, mine was mid control too. Easy to manuver and better riding position.
Nice!
The one under the sheet is a Excelsior Henderson Super X, the front forks are distinctive.
Wahoo!
Wow what a collection from Randy Baxter with Baxter Cycle in Marne, Iowa as I used to get parts and information and some service on British bikes when I was in business with This Old Bike!
Nice!
I just bought a 62 Thunderbolt, it needs tlc, but it runs. I have a himalayan, but wanted something to tinker with and improve. Love your enthusiasm and lack of planning! (gearbox). I think the lever arm on the front brake drum needs rotating anticlockwise a little- the angle between the cable and the lever arm should be less than 90 degrees. This is so common on videos, I finally had to comment.
It's a fun bike. Love BSA's. Thanks!
i guess I need mid controls on mine too now!
Wahoo!
I had the original 750cc. Beautiful bike. This makes me fall in love again. Even the handlebar looked the same. Going to see if I can get me another one.
I was very impressed with the work they did on this. To the untrained eye it looks like a true vintage Interceptor. Wahoo!
Mid controls are awesome. Betcha that makes a Super Meteor into an even more super duper tourer.
It's a nice add for those that are front control averse. Baxtercycle.com did it well Wahoo!
I like that a lot. RE should offer mid controls.
Very nice!
I regard forward controls as being dangerous
Some love them
Love the Interceptor. I’d buy this particular one just because of the seat! Now that’s got the right look. RE should pay attention to that. The stock seat doesn’t do anything for the bike… it’s pretty underwhelming to say the least.
Right on!
Looking forward for more custom shotgun , love the video 😊
Beautiful bike...we talked about another today...Wahoo!
Nice to hear that😊 @@thefuzzybiker171
Best sounding Interceptor I've ever heard. Pipes are reasonably priced. These bikes simply don't get their due.
Love this bike. They did excellent work with it. Went to make a follow up video but the bike had sold!
To bad i wont have my settlement yet
It's gonna be a fun time. Wahoo!
Review it all you want. Take as much bribe as they give you. I'ts still a lie to say it's anything more than a fat, slow, expensive, slow-selling poser bike.
I'd love to ride it.
For the money they cost 🤔🤔 I can't see it at all....sorry. I bet the cust who traded it in traded it for a Royal Enfield ...
It's the right bike for a particular person...yes, traded for an RE.
Did the bro have it shipped over the pond? I guess so.
Not sure what the story is...I know they want to sell them in the USA but need to pass US regs.
Oh yeah what it should be.
Beautiful
Beautiful!!! Really beautiful!!!
Glad you like it!
Nice bike . Did you mention the Isolastic engine mounts ? To offset engine vibration Norton designed a rubber shim system which separated the engine from the frame a tiny bit The swing arm hung from the same two vertical engine mounting plates , that held the separate crankcase and gear box housing , which also improved vibration effects . With the lovely engine torque and fairly low weight the Commando was a joy to drive . It could be listed as one of the first superbikes I think . Five speed Quafe box . Excellent addition . I had a Dunstall Commando , I wish I still had it ....we have far curvier roads in the UK , so we developed machines to fit , Commandos are not in any way boring to drive over here ! Excepting the fact that some idiot invented speed camera drones .
I don't think I mentioned that. Thank you! Great bike, for sure. Wahoo! (Speed Drones...DANG!)
I rode my V85TT to Alaska and back. Rugged, reliable, well balanced. I think this is my "forever" bike. Not too heavy, not too powerful, gets 55+ mpg. Don't get me wrong, I love the R1250GSA. It's smoother, more powerful, great presence, but it is heavier, almost twice the price and way more expensive to maintain.
This V85TT is a great modern motorcycle. And as you point out, very capable. Wahoo!
I'm jealous -- I had a P11A (bought it new between "vacations" in SE Asia), rode that rascal all over Georgia, Florida through the south over to Texas a couple times, fire-roading when I could, Washington State. Montana, North Dakota (and in the snow one winter), just a great bike; great to ride, easy to tune, easy to work on -- eventually traded for a fastback Commando (also a great bike, but entirely different character). Blast from the past...
You've lived life right. Wahoo!
Nice that it has Alloy rims, they all came with steel ones as standard.
Amazing machine!
I sure wish they would gin up a retro version and add one of these with the “new gold star”. Thunderbolts were my favorite-looking bike at the time. This reminds me why. wow.
th-cam.com/video/d2eTjYcbgMY/w-d-xo.html
Hmmmmmmm i wonder when we get pricing details or where in the world we can buy them...... I'm still hesitant on the looks but i love those gauges and the shadow black color looks pretty good.....hmmmmmm
We will try to keep updates coming. Wahoo!
Why is it in the US?
I don’t understand it either..I would definitely buy one. Hopefully Baxter starts selling them in the future.
They are trying to get it legal in the USA. Has not happened yet.
I think they would sell too!
@@thefuzzybiker171 Really hope they do
@@thefuzzybiker171 Agreed
Must be fun going in a straight line.
Was happy to get to ride it. Would love to have rode it on some better roads. Wahoo!
Yes its the gear lever which is making the shifting reversed
Interesting!
John Player was a British Cigarette manufacturer, there slogan was Players Please, seen them raced back in the 1970s
Nice!
Welcome to my nick of the woods. 😎
We did some country roads too. Beautiful part of the world. Wahoo!
@@thefuzzybiker171 Hope they took you down into the Hocking Hills area. You would like 👍.
Nice vid. Glad you are having great fun!! Take it easy dude
Life is good!
Fuzzy, you speak my language. The V85TT is so good. I want one badly. I wish Baxter was a dealer but i get why they are not. Maybe someday Moto Guzzi will have outstanding dealer and customer support.
Fabulous motorcycle, for sure!
I've got this on my long-list of potential bikes here soon once i pay off my Scram. Looking to add to the stable. Out of all the Moto Guzzi bikes the V85TT is my favorite.
Totally agree with you on this. Love that V85TT and it comes in some great colors too!
I rember seeing one of these on the road as a schoolboy, it thundered past as I cycled off to town, I must have been in my teens and it was one of those childhood memories that forever stays with you.
Wow, amazing story for sure!
do they ship motorcycles worldwide?
They have shipped to other countries before. You'd have to call them. Baxtercycle.com
i am impressed
Nice motorcycle!
Beautiful! Keep up the great reviews Keith.
Love this one...for sure!
Nice 👍
Thanks ✌
Wooow!!! Nice jewel!!!
Thanks!!
