Social media gives a forum to quacks who pose as doctors! Ayurvedic doctors spend years studying human anatomy, physiology and then Ayurvedic medicine. It’s similar to a medical degree. Also having a book published doesn’t mean anything in todays world, anyone can getpublished! At best she is an entrepreneur who owns an Ayurvedic clinic and hires doctors to work for her, and has a great PR and marketing team to position her as some Ayurvedic expert!
Our society has come out of religious superstitions but now stuck in Scientific superstitions. Wanting doctors & professionals to tell you what to eat is a perfect example of that.

Apple has astringent properties hence the effect is reverse. It helps in reducing mucus and is recommended for kapha prakruti types in Ayurveda
