1440p / 144-165hz or so is the sweet spot, People have to understand your running @ 1440p / 165hz and high - ultra settings. All 3 can be demanding. Same with 4k / 144-165hz / high ultra settings which is extremely more demanding 1440p looks nice to, Its not low as 1080p and not as high as 4k but right in the middle which allows higher refresh rates and higher quality settings. Good balance between the 3. Solid resolution, Refresh rates and Quality settings.
Amazing how some people who form a small niche in gaming performance lack the mental capacity to recognize the glaringly obvious high end 4K build shouldn't be demonstrated in 4K because "reasons". If you are autistic enough to build a system like this to primarily run it in 1440P then congratulations on being so unique.

newer 3.0 psu's come with that cable, some older psu's are supported, you have to check what you have with the manufacturer,, or get one from cable mod
I'm in the market for this same card, and my research shows that it uses a 16-Pin Cable and ASUS recommends a 1000W Power Supply. If you're going to pick one of these up, I HIGHLY recommend getting a new PSU that's made for the 4000 Series GPU's, as the 4090 is very power hungry (TDP is 450W alone for this GPU).

So? I got the same. I got my 2K monitor a year and a half ago, back when I had a RX570, then went to a 3070Ti FE, then a 3080Ti FE, then a Strix 3090-OC .. now I got this Strix 4090-OC and I still use the same monitor. I got over $4000.00 in my pocket right now and I can get the best screen that exists but sometimes, for some people, when you can have whatever you want whenever you want, there isn't a sense of urgency for anything so we tend to do things out of boredom. Sometime people just can't afford to drop another few thousand on a monitor after buying a 4090.
Fabulous system. I was glad to see you pull out that support bracket to secure your GPU.
