Cooler😂😂. It is literally touching highest temperature for GPU on PC i.e 86C on most of the games. It is average on cooling i would say.

this is the only laptop i could find with the same intel core, graphics card, ram size, and hard drive space as the one i just bought. i still have a week before mine shows up, and i been using my time to look at any benchmarks and game testing just to see what kind of stuff i can look forward to. yet there are none for the brand i chose, so i wanted to say thank you for choosing all the specs you did. every video ive found of the laptop i ordered, only went as far as the 4080 and intel 13900HX. so yeah thanx The Relaxing End. you earned another sub

I settled for a pulse 15 on a crazy discount! Let's just say it runs just as well as a desktop for the price I paid and I have not made such an amazing purchase in over 12 years as far as gaming and consoles goes. 16gb ram, 4070, i7 and Cyberpunk is at 50 - 60 on ultra with DLSS at 2K, so I am pretty happy. My overall upgrade would be from a 250 GT excluding the ps5 and XBOX series X, still pretty damn amazing. Wish you all the best and I hope that all of you get your dream builds 😃

I think I'd prefer one of AUO's 1440p240Hz miniled panels or one of the 4K panels that can also do 1080p240Hz. It's still kinda hard to make good use of a 4K144Hz screen on a mobile gpu.
I've heard these 4090 mobile Gpu match the desktop 30 series which can def take advantage of that, but yeah depends on individual needs I guess. I'd personally also get the other pannel

I have a Titan that's 7 years old and still works like a bomb, never replaced a part. So, I have now purchased one of these.
It's not too much if you can afford it and have need of the power it packs under the hood. Just because it's covered in tacky LEDs doesn't mean everyone who buys it is buying it to play games. I bought the 128GB model of this computer on launch day to replace my older model Titan, and as a work computer, it efficiently handles everything I need it to do in a really convenient form factor. It totally justifies itself as a business expense.
If you're looking for a budget-conscious gaming machine, this is obviously not the machine for you lol.

I can't imagine how hot this thing will get and how long the internals will last before frying. For that price you can get a maxed out desktop and a gaming laptop.

Naughty Dog should take notes from Insomniac on optimizing PS games on PC. Both Uncharted 4 and now this take time building shaders.
Last of us part 1 pc port is dog water. I got a refund tbh definitely wasn’t worth it. Wayyyy too many issues

Nice specs but it seems 4K gaming is still not possible at more than 120-144 FPS. It's all a hype in my opinion. 2K Resolution is still a sweet spot where gamers can go beyond 144-240hz without losing much eye candy and breaking the quality of what the eye can see. I have a 27inch 2k 144 hz curved monitor which is almost perfect
You realise the laptop 4090 is not close to the desktop right? Desktop 4090 can do 200-240 fps on MW2 vs the 110 here. RDR2 140 vs 80 here

I am Turkish, this computer is on sale in our country and it has a price of 180 thousand, the minimum wage here is 8 thousand TL, think for us, my friend.
yeah, asus is really giving the best price to performance with the 40 series, as far as I've seen. For around 3300, you can get comparable performance to this.

As much as I love these battleship sized laptops, they are pretty useless lol. I've had my 17r3 behemoth of a laptop for a good 7 years and counting, and I've taken it off my desk maybe twice. It's so unwieldy you're better off just getting a desktop and a backup laptop, it'll probably be cheaper too if that monstrosity really is 5k ☠️
Get the ASUS Strix G18, thats the best you can get around that price.

The fps at 4k ultra settings preset without dlss and frame generation in cyberpunk is exactly how much FPS I get while playing 2013 games and some older titles on intel integrated graphics(Intel HD 500) at low/med preset, 720p resolution 🥲🥲🥲💔

As for the 4070 and rest they are just a disgrace.
I expected the 4070 laptop to be on par with a 3080 Ti laptop.
A 4060 laptop to be in between a 3070 and 3070 Ti and the 4050 to be a little bit faster than the 3060.
Going for anything less than a 4080 is pure crap especially now since last gen prices are dropping

Seen quite a lot of vids and also have played on consoles of friends, them consoles do get loud, but thats kinda to be expected then you let one tiny fan handle the cooling of an entire rig. Plus the dust that accumulates which is hard to clean in such a small space and that small space dont let much air thru which again dont benefit your cooling.
Desktops you just blow some air with an air compressor in the sumbitch and youre good to go, never seen one overheat or as loud as a ps4 unless its OCd

Laptops at this price really aren't worth it though since their Graphics cards effectively become obsolete after two or three years at a time, same with processors (I still remember that massive 'laptop' that had two gtx 1080's in it from a few years back)
It was actually 3 different brands of that extreme:
1. The msi gt83vr titan sli
2. The asus rog gx800VH
3. The acer predator 21x...
All the 3 were good and insane they were killed by the lack of being modular and upgradeable... mostly the asus gx800 and the predator 21x they were just crazy insane and at the same time very disappointing to have all major parts soldered... therefore making them obsolete expensive paperweight in just 2 years ... and now just 4 years later they are easily beaten by a measly budget entry gpu or apu... hell even a morern IGPU would give them trouble.... thats ashame

Ich hab denn ROG Zephyrus M16 2023. die Gaming Laptops sind mittlerweile echt mega gut geworden. Ich hab mich nur für denn entschieden wegen Nebula Engine, ansonsten habe ich auch die RTX4090 und so weiter.
Performance sind das echt Monster.

Considering near 90 degrees on the gpu and cpu, it could probably die much sooner. If you have an option to build a powerful pc instead of gaming laptop, don't neglect it. Although here the temperatures are too high, even for laptop, maybe a stand will help to lower by 10 degrees.

The temperatures are kind of unacceptable, also setting an msi laptop to ultimate performance mode is basically just making the laptop work extra for nothing, always keep it on balanced mode, less temperatures for pretty much the same performance as maxed.

Almost 90C on the gpu core. Good luck making it a year beyond the warranty period. I'd undervolt that GPU straight away. 30-40% Lower power draw makes wonders for temps.
